Friends of the North Natomas Regional Park are scheduled to meet tomorrow.
On the agenda this month:
- status of the ballpark, amphitheatre, Farmer’s Market and parking phase;
- update on efforts to secure Prop. 84 funds;
- meeting new partners, the small dog group of the North Natomas Regional Park;
- sprucing up the tree area along north/south/bike sculpture bike path;
- securing funds to re-do natural grass areas along the bike paths;
- lighting and bollard projects;
- funding efforts for future phases of the park;
- and improving communication and of the group’s efforts.
Updates on other north Natomas parks will also be covered.
The meeting is 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 in the community room at the North Natomas Library.
