Sacramento police suspect speed was a factor in a single-vehicle car crash Saturday afternoon on Del Paso Road at Wyndview Way.
Police received the call at about 2:37 p.m. A portion of Del Paso Road was closed while traffic investigators examined the scene.
According to police spokesperson Laura Peck, the male driver drove a blue four-door Nissan into a concrete sign. The driver was critically injured and not expected to survive, she said.
