A dozen youngsters recently participated in a “Grandparents Day Crafts” workshop held at the Sacramento Library branch in North Natomas.
Children had the option of making a card, coloring a drawing, magnets and more based on the theme “You Are My Sunshine.”
National Grandparents Day is a secular holiday celebrated in the United States since 1978 and officially recognized in a number of countries. This year, the holiday falls on Sept. 11.
