Seen In Natomas: Like A Phoenix From The Ashes

A brand-new playground will open next month at Jefferson Park more than two years after Fort Natomas burned to the ground for the second time on the site.
The playground includes two walls of original Fort Natomas tiles in its design along with several features – such as a water mister area – suggested by area residents.
The 6.6-acre park, located adjacent at 1990 Roma Court, is near to Jefferson Elementary School in South Natomas. The playground is scheduled to be complete on July 2.

  1. It is so wonderful to see families enjoying Jefferson Park once again! Thank you to the City of Sacramento for the playground design.
