As of 1 a.m., election results for the District One city council race remained unchanged from 8:22 p.m. the previous night. Incumbent Ray Tretheway trailed challenger Angelique Ashby by about 10 percent of the vote with 36 out of 70 precincts reporting. The Sacramento County’s online election results reporting system reported glitches throughout the night and was completely offline shortly after midnight.
