Sci Fi Author To Skype North Natomas Library

Chat live with Cory Doctorow, author of the bestselling teen novel Little Brother, at a Skype video broadcast from his London, England home.
The live, one-hour broadcast can be viewed at 8 a.m. April 21, at North Natomas Library, 4660 Via Ingoglia.
Doctorow’s latest teen adventure story is about 17-year-old Marcus and his friends who are swept up in the extralegal world of the Department of Homeland Security after a terrorist attack in San Francisco. The story confronts issues, from civil liberties to cryptology to social justice.
Doctorow is a science-fiction novelist, blogger, and technology activist; plus, the co-editor of the popular weblog Boing Boing (boingboing.net), and a contributor to Wired, Popular Science, Make, The New York Times, and many other publications and web sites.
