Crown Not Closing After All

A NATOMAS BUZZ reader wrote in to tell us they had talked to a worker at the Crown Books store in Park Place II and was told the store will not be closing after all.

The store’s owner, located in Southern California, apparently wants to “revamp” the layout of the store by adding a used books section and adding some bookcases.

Says the readers, “It sounds like the We’re closing was one of the old furniture store gimmicks where they are going out of business indefinitely!”
