Give the gift of literacy this season!
The Rotary Club of Natomas is organizing a holiday book drive to benefit school libraries in Natomas.
When visiting Barnes & Noble in Natomas this holiday season, look for the display of tags in the lobby. Each tag will have a book title that has been requested by the library at a Natomas school to be sponsored. Or you can sponsor a Spanish book for a child in Peru.
A team of Rotarians will be traveling to Peru next spring to hand deliver the Spanish books to children in the Inca or Lima areas. Rotarians will be hand delivering the Natomas books to school libraries after the holidays.
If you are connected with a Natomas school and would like to participate in this book drive, please e-mail a list of needed books along with your contact information to [email protected] or call Club President Regina Stafford at 916-247-4364. Deadline for submission in November 3rd.
The Rotary Club of Natomas meets Fridays at the Hampton Inn off Del Paso Road & I-5. Meetings are from 7 to 8 a.m.
