All information herein is provided by Sacramento Police Department. The crimes reported here are preliminary investigations, taken in the field by patrol officers, and may or may not be assigned to a detective for further investigation. The information provided may be found after further investigation to be incorrect or false. Certain details of these incidents have been removed due to potential follow up investigation into the incident and/or for privacy rights.

May 16

May 15 (incidents are from shifts starting May 14)

13-126397, Burglary, 4800 block of Natomas Blvd, 1:52 p.m.
Officers responded to multiple reports of burglaries in an apartment complex. The three burglaries and one attempted burglary were thought to have occurred between 1100-1230 a.m. The unknown suspect(s) forced entry through a rear sliding glass door, entered the residence and stole electronics. All four apartment units were on the first floor of the complex. Investigation is in progress.

May 14 (incidents are from shifts starting May 13

13-125320, Burglary, 2300 block of Northgate Blvd, 9:34 a.m.
During the night a suspect entered a pharmacy through a wall of an adjacent store. Taken were prescription narcotics.


13-125685, Theft, 4400 block of E. Commerce Way, 4:45 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of two subjects attempting to purchase items using a stolen identity. Both suspects were contacted and ultimately arrested. Investigation is in progress.


13-125890, Disturbance, Far Niente Way/Carneros Creek Way, 9:54 p.m.
A call was received about a possible domestic violence incident. The husband was said to holding onto a roof of a vehicle as the wife was driving and refusing to stop. It was found that they were in a verbal argument and the female went to leave and the husband jumped onto the roof of the truck in attempt to prevent her from leaving. The male half was arrested for outstanding warrants.

May 13 (incidents are from shifts starting May 12)

13-124418, Warrant Service, 3300 block of Belden St, 8 a.m.
Officers went to a location to serve an arrest warrant. Officers contacted, detained and arrested David Thomason. A search warrant of the residence was later obtained and discovered heroin, methamphetamine, a short barreled shotgun and a stun gun. Thomason, 48, was ultimately booked for drug possession and weapons charges.


13-124882, Assault, 1600 block of Scarlet Ash, 7:43 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of an assault. A 14-year-old juvenile suspect along with other teens, were outside an apartment. The suspect had lighters and was trying to light objects on fire. At one point, the suspect lit the lower pant leg of a 9-year-old victim. The victim put the fire out. There were no visible signs of injury to the victim. The known suspect was ultimately found and arrested for arson.


13-124801, Subject Stop, Senida Way/Prince Henry Dr, 6:13 p.m.
Officers contacted and arrested Jeremy Bates, 33, for possession of heroin.


13-125081, Sex Assault Report, San Juan/Northgate, 11:44 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault of a 16-year-old victim by a known suspect. Investigation is in progress.

May 12 (incidents are from shifts starting May 11)

13-123320, Domestic Disturbance, 3200 block of Truxel, Rd, 10:21 a.m.
An argument between the parents of a baby turned physical and their friends got involved. During the altercation a bat and a gun were brandished. Officers arrived and located the suspect vehicle nearby. A 15-year-old male was booked into juvenile hall for threats and 19-year-old Christopher Saldivar was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon.

May 11 (incidents are from shifts starting May 10)

13-122990, Disturbance, 4700 block of Windsong St, 11:47 p.m.
Offices responded to a disturbance regarding a house party inside of a vacant residence. Multiple juveniles were contacted and the house was cleared out and secured. One juvenile was taken into custody for curfew violation and possession of alcohol.

May 10 (incidents are from shifts starting May 9)

13-120960, Bicycle Stop, West El Camino Ave/Fairweather Dr, 1:17 a.m.
One subject was taken into custody for possession of narcotics and paraphernalia after officers contacted him riding a bicycle in the area.


13-121273, Vehicle Collision, 2100 block of Northgate Blvd, 11:54 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a solo overturned vehicle accident. The driver sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and a vehicle accident investigation was completed.


13-121658, Assault, San Juan Rd/Truxel Blvd, 6:07 p.m.
Officers responded to a possible shooting. Upon arrival it was determined that the subject had been struck with a BB or Pellet and sustained minor injuries that did not require treatment at a hospital. Officers searched and canvassed the area and were unable to locate witnesses to this incident.


13-121750, Missing Person, 3600 block of Broadland Street, 7:55 p.m.
Units responded to the above area regarding a 90-year-old at risk missing person. After an extensive search of the area and reverse 911, the MP was located by officers unharmed.

May 9 (incidents are from shifts starting May 8)

13-120081, Missing Person, 300 block of Anjou Cir. 7:49 a.m.
A mother called in that her 12-year-old daughter ran away after they had an argument. The mother had been in contact with the child periodically throughout the day. A report was taken.


13-120618, Robbery, 400 block of El Camino, 5:29 p.m. An elderly female was approached by two unknown subjects. The two subjects told the female a fictitious story that they had her family member held against his will. They demanded money from the victim. She was tricked into giving them her jewelry and was driven to a bank to withdrawal cash. Investigation is in progress. (Please be aware of scams like these targeting the elderly)


13-120546, Suspicious Circumstance, Honor Parkway/Bill Bean Circle, 3:55 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of an unknown subject that approached an 11-year-old female and told her to get in his car. The victim ran off. Investigation is in progress.


13-120358, Sex Assault Report, 2800 block of Myotis Drive, 1:23 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a possible sex assault of a 3 ½ year old child by known subjects. Investigation is on-going.

May 8 (incidents are from shifts starting May 7)

13-119468, Assault, 3800 block of Del Paso Rd, 3:25 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a fight between two subjects in the street. A victim intervened when the suspect was yelling at a female subject. The suspect turned on the victim and assaulted him. The victim sustained facial injuries from the fight. The suspect then fled prior to police arrival. Investigation is on-going.


13-119767, Disturbance, 4900 block of Kokomo Dr., 8:05 p.m.
Officers received a call of 40-50 subjects in the park with vehicles blocking the streets. Officers arrived and found approximately 100 subjects in the park and on the street. The subjects dispersed and no major incidents arising from the gathering.


13-119802, Alarm, 1900 block of Railroad Dr, 8:43 p.m.
Officers responded to an alarm activation that had video of two subjects around the area. Officers responded with the assistance of the air unit. Two subjects were ultimately detained and identified. Investigation is in progress.


13-119865, Pursuit, Northgate/I-80, 10:05 p.m.
Officers attempted a vehicle stop and the vehicle fled. During the pursuit, the driver opened the door and threw out what was eventually found to be methamphetamine. Julio Castro, 42, ultimately pulled over on his own at I-80 and Longview and was taken into custody. Castro was arrested for fleeing, possession of the illegal substance and for outstanding warrants.

13-118124, Assault, Gateway Oaks Blvd/North Market Blvd, 6:12 a.m.

Suspect Franklin Cole, 60, was taken into custody for reportedly throwing an object at a passing vehicle. Officers responded to a report of a subject throwing rocks at passing vehicles after a windshield of a car was believed to be struck with a rock. The windshield was damaged but the occupants were uninjured. A search of the area revealed a subject (Suspect Cole) who was identified as throwing the rock at the vehicle.


13-118495, Assault, Arena Blvd/El Centro Rd, 3:07 p.m.
The male victim and a female acquaintance were in a vehicle together when the victim was assaulted. A third subject, unknown to the victim, who was also in the vehicle, pointed and shot a gun at the victim who sustained a non-life threatening injury. This investigation continues to be ongoing.

May 6 (incidents are from shifts starting May 5)

13-118108, Assault, Northgate/Hwy 160, 5:10 a.m.
Dispatch received multiple calls of suspect(s) throwing rocks at passing vehicles. Officers arrived and found that there were a few victims with vehicle damage and one driver sustained minor injuries. The driver’s injury was sustained from vehicle glass shattering from the rock hitting the vehicle. The unknown suspect(s) threw rocks from the bridge area down at the travelling vehicles.

May 5 (incidents are from shifts starting May 4)

13-116100, Suspicious Subject, 500 block of Natalino Cr, 10:42 a.m.
A caller advised someone was trying to force his way into a house. Officers responded, contacted the suspect and found him to be intoxicated. Officers investigated the incident and ultimately arrested Mark Clay, 21, for public intoxication.


13-109870, Arrest, 4600 block of Del Paso Rd, 9:45 a.m.
Officer contacted and arrested Jeffrey Smith for an assault that occurred a few days ago. Smith, 45, was booked into county jail. Incident number 13-109870


13-116454, Hit and Run, 3300 block of Northgate Blvd, 5:42 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a hit and run. Witnesses stated that a suspect abruptly backed his vehicle up and hit a 13-year-old girl that had just exited a store. The suspect momentarily got out of the vehicle to check on the victim and then got back in and drove off. The victim sustained minor injury. Investigation is in progress.


13-116504, Sex Assault Report, 1600 block of W El Camino Ave, 6:43 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. Officers contacted the victim and her estranged husband, investigated the incident and ultimately arrested the John Harms. John Harms, 26, was booked into county jail for sexual assault, domestic violence, kidnapping and false imprisonment.

May 4 (incidents are from shifts starting May 3)

13-114795, Vandalism, 4100 Innovator Dr., 6:19 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of vandalism. The victim reported flyers for his business were torn down and the cork board they were hanging on was damaged.


13-114805, Domestic Disturbance, 200 block of Harding Ave, 6:52 a.m.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. The victim called police when the mother of his children showed up at his door. Officers arrived and contacted both parties. The female half was eventually taken to jail for resisting officers and served with an active restraining order that was in the system.


13-114940, Burglary, 1900 block of Delgado Way, 10:54 a.m.
Officers responded to a burglary that had just occurred. Property was taken from inside after the suspect(s) had forced entry into the home. A search of the area was negative and a report was taken.


13-115299, Medical Aid, 2500 block of Seamist Drive, 5:13 p.m.
Officers responded to the area regarding a physical altercation. Responding officer’s canvassed the area and learned multiple involved parties had already left the scene. Shortly after officers arrived an area hospital advised of a subject being treated for a serious but non-life threatening injury. The victim is believed to be related to the original physical altercation incident and a report was taken documenting the circumstances of this call.


13-115744, Disturbance, W. El Camino Ave / Stone Creek, 11:46 p.m.
Charles Tell, 53, and Adana Andrews, 32, were taken into custody for public intoxication after a security guard contacted them in the area. Prior to officers’ arrival the security guard was involved in a brief physical altercation with the two individuals. Responding officers eventually booked both subjects into the Sacramento County Jail without further incident.

May 3

May 2 (incidents are from shifts starting May 1)

13-113245, Traffic Collision, Garden Highway and Natomas Park Drive, 6:01 p.m.
Units responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. Both were traveling west on Garden highway when the collision occurred. The adult bicyclist turned in front of the vehicle and was struck by the car. The bicyclist was transported to a UCD with serious injuries. DUI was not a factor and the driver remained on scene.


13-113666, Burglary, 1500 block of El Camino Ave., 2:32 a.m.
Officers responded to an alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers found that an unknown subject broke into the structure, stole items and fled. CSI responded.

May 1 (incidents are from shifts starting April 30)

13-112396, Suspicious Subject, 1900 block of San Juan Rd, 8:33 p.m.
Officers on patrol and were hailed by a victim who advised that her vehicle was burglarized and two purses were stolen. The victim described the possible suspect vehicle and officers searched the area. Officers located and stopped a vehicle leaving the complex that matched the description of the suspect vehicle. One of the stolen purses was on the floorboard of the vehicle. All stolen property was eventually recovered and Felix Isomy, 20, was arrested for burglary.

April 30 (incidents are from shifts starting April 29)

13-111126, Disturbance, 800 block of San Juan Road, 3:25 p.m.
Officers responded to a subject causing a disturbance in the area. Upon arrival officers recognized the subject to possibly be wanted and a search of the area was done. The subject was eventually located, hiding from police in the complex’s laundry room, and confirmed to in fact be a parolee-at-large

April 29 (incidents are from shifts starting April 28)

13-109879, Assault, 4500 block of Truxel Rd., 7:19 a.m.
An apartment resident was taking her dog out for a walk when she saw a subject going through the recycle dumpster. The subject picked up a rock and threw it at her when she told him to leave. The victim was struck in the face, but did not receive any visible injuries. The subject then rode off on his bike. He was described as a white man, approximately 40, long blond hair, missing front teeth, dark long sleeve shirt and dark jeans.


13-110004, Vehicle into Building, 4200 block of El Centro Rd., 11:42 a.m.
A driver accidentally pushed on her car’s accelerator instead of its brakes and drove into the side of a building of an apartment complex. No injuries were reported. Sacramento Fire Department responded due to a gas line that was struck. There was no reported structural damage.


13-110174, Robbery, 2200 block of Citrine Way, 3:23 p.m.
Three subjects knocked on the door to a residence and upon the occupants answering, they entered the house. One suspect held the occupants at gunpoint while the other two went into the bedroom and removed a small safe containing cash, jewelry and documents. One suspect was described as a white man in his mid 20s-early 30s. He had a beard with sunglasses and was armed with a handgun. The other two men were described as possibly white men, both wearing face coverings and clothing covering their arms and most of their bodies. CSI responded.

April 28 (incidents are from shifts starting April 27)

13-108837, Burglary, 1500 block of West El Camino Ave., 9:30 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a business. Employees arrived at work in the morning and found the front door smashed and a small amount of money stolen from the cash register.


13-109290, Robbery, 1500 block of West El Camino Ave., 7:19 p.m.
Employees of a business attempted to escort two suspected shoplifters off the property when the suspects became confrontational. Uniformed security at the scene attempted to assist and was assaulted by the suspects. The suspects took the security guard’s cell phone. Officers arrived and helped with the detention of the suspects and took them into custody.


13-109283, Assault, 3300 block of Winter Park Dr., 7:11 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a juvenile trying to drown another juvenile in a pool. Officers arrived and determined that the 22-year-old resident and the 14-year-old male victim that was at the complex visiting friends were in a verbal argument that turned physical. The suspect chased down the victim and held him underwater multiple times allowing the victim to come up for air. No reported injuries and Antonio Marshall, 22, was cited for child endangerment.

April 27 (incidents are from shifts starting April 26)

13-108052, Robbery, 3500 block of N. Freeway Blvd, 3:16 p.m.
Officers responded to a theft-in-progress. Three female adult subjects were observed collecting merchandise and were believed to be intending to steal the items. Security confronted the subjects who reportedly produced pepper spray and threatened the security officers. The subjects fled in a gold sedan and this investigation in ongoing in an attempt to identify the suspects.


13-108166, Domestic Dispute, 2700 block of Dorine Way, 4:54 p.m.
Officers responded to a domestic dispute between parents regarding a child in common. A welfare check of the child was performed and no neglect was observed. An information report was taken and CPS notified.


13-108548, Assault, 300 block of Lindley Dr, 2311 hours
Officers responded to the area regarding a stabbing assault. The adult male victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at an area hospital. A canvas was done for any witnesses or suspects with negative results.


13-108553, Shooting, 400 block of Lentini Way, 11:21 p.m.
Multiple subjects entered into a vacant home and were causing a disturbance. As officers were clearing out the subjects they heard the sounds of shots fired. A canvas was done and no evidence of a shooting was observed. One juvenile was booked for public intoxication.


13-108736, Domestic Violence, Waterwheel St/Truxel Rd, 3:21 a.m.
Officers responded to a domestic violence incident that was originally reported by an uninvolved witness as a kidnapping. The suspect left the area in the victim’s vehicle prior to officers arrival and a report was taken. The victim sustained minor non-life threatening injuries that were treated by fire personnel.

April 26

April 25 (incidents are from shifts starting April 24)

13-105920, Sexual Assault, in the area of Pebblewood Dr/Stonecreek Dr, 12:16 p.m.
The victim reported being sexually assaulted several years ago by a known subject. A report was taken and this investigation is ongoing.


13-106026, Custody, 2500 block of W. El Camino Ave, 2:24 p.m.
Officers responded to the above area to assist CPS. A child was taken into custody for medical treatment and transported to an area hospital by CPS.


13-106031, Suspicious Activity, 3700 block of Poppy Hill Way, 2:26 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity. A juvenile reported being harassed by other juveniles and a report was taken. This investigation is ongoing.

April 24 (incidents are from shifts starting April 23)

13-96936, Missing Person, 2200 block of Able Way, 10:08 a.m.
Officers responded to a missing person report of an 18-year-old male. A report was taken and the MP was entered into the system.

April 23 (incidents are from shifts starting April 22

13-103989, Sex Assault Report, 5100 block of Banfield, 1:26 p.m.
Officers responded to investigate a report of a sexual assault of a 14-year old by an adult family member. Investigation is ongoing.

13-104100, Domestic Violence, 2100 block of Sandcastle Way, 3:37 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a victim’s estranged husband following and harassing her. Investigation is ongoing.

April 22 (incidents are from shifts starting April 21)

13-103131, Theft, 2300 block of Northgate Blvd, 2:55 p.m.
Officers were hailed at the above locations regarding a theft of a backpack. The victim entered a store and put his backpack on the counter while shopping only to return to find the backpack stolen. The victim stated that he had a gun inside the backpack. Officers investigated and a report was taken.

April 21 (incidents from shifts starting April 20)

13-102394, Subject Stop, Truxel Rd/West El Camino Ave, 7:33 p.m.
An officer on routine patrol saw a subject loitering in the area, made contact and found that he had a felony warrant. Kevin Nelson, 26, was arrested and booked into county jail

April 20 (incidents are from shifts starting April 19)

13-100861, Robbery, 1500 block of W. El Camino Ave, 10:30 a.m.
The suspect entered an area bank and demanded money at gunpoint. The employees complied and the suspect fled on foot eastbound on West El Camino Ave. CSI responded to assist with the investigation and no injuries were reported.

April 19 (incidents are from shifts starting April 18)

13-99877, Medical Aid, 2100 block of Sherrington Way, 12:04 p.m.
Officers responded to a call of a subject in need of medical aid. The subject was transported to an area hospital to be treated.


13-100261, Traffic Stop, Truxel Road/I-80, 6:40 p.m.
The driver of a vehicle was taken into custody after a probation search revealed a large amount of cash and narcotics in his possession.


13-100338, Vehicle Accident, 5500 block of Honor Parkway, 8:13 p.m.
Officers responded to a non injury vehicle collision involving a car that struck a parked vehicle. A report was taken and no injuries were reported.

April 18 (incidents are from shifts starting April 17)

13-98647, Assault, 2800 block of Mendel Way, 4:56 a.m.
The victim was walking when he attempted to intervene in a physical altercation between an unknown man and woman. The male subject stabbed the victim who sustained non-life threatening injuries that were treated at a local hospital. Both subjects fled the scene on foot after the assault.


13-99290, Assault, 2000 block of San Juan Road, 7:07 p.m.
During a domestic dispute the victim’s boyfriend fired a gun into the ground and fled the scene. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained from being physically assaulted by the suspect during the incident. Officers continue to follow up in an attempt to locate the suspect


13-98777, Outside Agency Courtesy Report, 4800 block of Kokomo Dr, 9:35 a.m.
An outside agency requested the Sac PD take a courtesy report regarding a crime that occurred in another jurisdiction.

April 17 (incidents are from shifts starting April 16)

13-97681, Burglary, 2200 block of Able Way, 7 a.m.
Residents awoke, went downstairs and found that items were missing from the first floor. An unknown subject entered the residence during the night and stole property before leaving.


13-98269, Theft, 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue, 5:40 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a theft. The victim reported having had his wallet pick pocketed in the parking lot.


13-98647, Assault, 2800 block of Mendel, 4:56 a.m.
The victim was walking when he encountered a male and a female in a physical altercation. The victim went to intervene and separate the subjects. Once separated the male subject stabbed the victim in an upper appendage. The female and the male fled the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 6’, thin build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.

April 16 (incidents are from shifts starting April 15)

13-96795, Fatal Accident, San Juan Road/ Tumbleweed Way, 6:47 .m.
Officers responded to a motorcycle accident involving an occupied school bus. The motorcycle rider was declared deceased at the scene. No one from the bus was injured and CHP handled the investigation.


13-97022, Suspicious Circumstances, 2900 block of Trap Rock Way, 12:10 p.m.
Sacramento Police responded to the location for a welfare check of the complainant’s son. The son was not home, but family learned that he and his family were out of state. Nevada Highway Patrol contacted the man along with his family. He was ultimately arrested for domestic violence.

April 15 (incidents are from shifts starting April 14)

13-96107, Traffic Collision, El Camino/ Business 80, 11:00 a.m.
Patrol officer was struck by a DUI driver. No injuries to either party. There was significant damage to patrol vehicle. CHP responded for the report.

April 14 (incidents are from shifts starting April 13)

13-94814, Robbery, Waterwheel/Seamist, 0050 hours
Officers conducted investigative follow-up on a robbery from the night before and arrested two male subjects for robbery and conspiracy. One adult and one juvenile were taken into custody.

April 13 (incidents are from shifts starting April 12)

13-94814, Robbery, W. El Camino Ave/Truxel Rd, 12:50 a.m.
The victims were walking in the above area when they were approached by multiple suspects. After a brief conversation the suspects demanded the victim’s money at gunpoint. The suspects immediately fled the area and one reportedly fired multiple shots in the air as they departed. Responding officers were able to locate, identify and arrest one of the suspects involved in the robbery. This investigation is ongoing.

April 12 (incidents are from shifts starting April 11)

3800rosinct13-93741, Suspicious Vehicle, 3800 block Rosin Ct., 1:17 a.m.
Officers contacted a subject in a parked vehicle and a probation search was conducted. Further investigation was conducted and officers contacted additional subjects in the area. Narcotics were located and two subjects were arrested for various charges including narcotics and solicitation of prostitution.

April 11 (incidents are from shifts starting April 10)

13-92770, Vehicle Pursuit, W El Camino Ave/Northgate Blvd, 2:59 a.m.
Officers conducted a vehicle stop and a short vehicle pursuit ensued when the driver failed to pull over. The driver eventually abruptly stopped the car and immediately fled on foot. After a perimeter was established the driver, Sean Rushton, 20, was booked for evading, resisting arrest, and violation of probation. An passenger and only additional occupant also ran from the vehicle but was unable to be located.

13-92501, Robbery, 3200 block of Arena Blvd, 7:55 p.m.
Officers responded to the area regarding a robbery. The suspect responded to a for sale ad the victim posted online. The female suspect fled with the victim’s property to an awaiting vehicle. The victim gave chase to the suspect who fled to the vehicle occupied by multiple subjects. As the vehicle departed the victim thought he observed the occupants of the vehicle point what he believed to be a gun at him.

13-92089, Missing Person, 3200 block of Azevedo Dr, 12:34 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a missing person. The 62-year-old male subject was reportedly last seen on Monday, 4-8-13. Officers followed up and were unable to locate the MP. A report was taken and he was entered into the system as a missing person.

April 10 (incidents are from shifts starting April 9)

13-91378, Suspicious Person, 1600 block of Scarlet Ash Ave, 4:26 p.m.
Officers contacted a juvenile subject in the area and a probation search was done. The juvenile did not have a reasonable explanation why he was in the area. The probation search revealed a possible stolen property; however, further investigation is required.

13-91743, Missing Person, 1100 block of Athena Ave, 12:13 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a missing person. The juvenile MP went missing from her home after having an argument with her family earlier in the evening. The area was checked by officers and the mp was entered into the system. The 11-year-old female is described as Hispanic, 4’10″, with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighing 70 pounds. Updated 3:45 p.m. on April 10, 2013: The missing person has been found, according to a police spokesperson.

April 9 (incidents are from shifts starting April 8)

13-90733, Assault, Truxel/San Juan, 10:11 p.m.
A victim felt that her vehicle was just rear ended. She got out of the vehicle to see if she if an accident occurred. As she did the driver of the other vehicle got out of his car and threw a plastic bottle at the victim striking her in the face. The driver of the other vehicle then fled the area. The victim sustained minor injury in the assault. The suspect was described as an 18-year-old black man, 5’8”, 140 pounds, wearing a black-grey sweater and black–grey hat. He was driving a Grey Sedan.

April 8 (incidents are from shifts starting April 7)

13-089807, Robbery, 400 block of Potomac Ave, 10:22 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing. Fire personnel responded initially to a medical-aid call, arrived and found the male adult victim in his 30s had multiple lacerations to his head and was physically assaulted. Fire then requested police to respond. Officers arrived and found what appeared to be a home invasion robbery. The unknown suspect(s) entered the home through a front security door, assaulted the resident and stole property from the home. Officers found that the occupant had a small marijuana grow inside the residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital with significant, yet non-life threatening injuries. Officers searched the surrounding area and conducted a canvas for witnesses. CSI responded to collect evidence and photograph the scene. Investigation is in progress.

April 7

April 6 (incidents are from shifts starting April 5)

13-87396, Robbery, 3200 block of Arena Blvd, 1:02 p.m.
Officers responded to a robbery of a bank. The suspect approached the teller and demanded cash. No weapon was used or mentioned. The suspect was given money and ultimately fled the area in a vehicle. A canvas was performed and CSI and NCU were notified. The suspect was described as a Black male in his 20’s. This investigation continues to be ongoing.


13-87732, Brandishing, Rynders Way/Tarboro Lane, 7:12 p.m.
Officers responded to this location concerning an unknown subject who brandished a gun. The juvenile victim indicated that he was near his home when the subject, unprovoked, produced and pointed the gun at him. The victim immediately fled the area and no injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a Black or Hispanic male adult in his 20’s.


13-87995, Disturbance, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 11:57 p.m.
Officers responded to a disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival it was discovered that a physical altercation had occurred between two family members. One of the two adult sisters was found to be in possession of narcotics and taken into custody.

Officers contacted a subject in the area who was determined to be a parolee-at-large. Norman Thompson, 32, was arrested and booked without incident.

13-86666, Robbery, 3700 block of Northgate Blvd, 4:44 p.m.
The victim was approached by two suspects as he sat inside his vehicle. One of the suspects physically assaulted the victim and demanded property from him. The suspects stole case and other property from the victim prior to fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and a report was taken. One suspect is described as a Black male and the other is described as a Hispanic male, both in their 20’s.


13-86732, Burglary, 1700 block of Iverson Way, 5:59 p.m.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a burglary-in-progress. The victim discovered a juvenile suspect inside his home. The juvenile fled from the home and ultimately fled the area on foot.

13-87130, Burglary, 3800 block of Truxel Rd, 5:06 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm activation. Responding officers observed forced entry to a closed business and a perimeter was established. The suspect was discovered to still be on scene and fled out of the business. Officers gave chase to the fleeing suspect who was quickly apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Leheun Johnson, 38, was taken into custody for burglary and being in possession of burglary tools.

13-86057, Suspicious Subject, 4100 block of Innovator Dr., 10:57 p.m.
Officers responded to a call of two subjects wearing masks and jumping a fence onto a property. Both juvenile subjects were found, contacted, identified and interviewed.


13-86203, Suspicious Circumstance, 2000 Block of Railroad Dr., 4:13 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a power failure and power lines down. City public works arrived as well and believe that the city owned line had been cut and tampered with possibly looking for or thinking it was copper wire.

13-84489, Burglary, 1700 block of Teralba Way, 10:45 a.m.
Officers were in the area of a suspicious subject call when they were contacted about a residential burglary. Officers investigated and contacted two subjects in the area. Investigation is in progress.


13-84575, Welfare check, 2800 block of Norcross Drive, 2:19 p.m.
Officers responded to check the welfare of an 80-year-old resident. Officers entered the home and found the man deceased inside his home. Nothing suspicious was observed.

April 2 (incidents are from shifts starting April 1)

13-83949, Assault, 2100 block of Zurlo Way, 6:42 p.m.
A 32-year-old male victim intervened in an argument between two groups of men. The suspects turned their aggression toward the victim. The victim was ultimately stabbed numerous times in the upper torso. The suspects fled into a vehicle. A witness watched the suspect vehicle and notified police. CHP helicopter AIR23 found the suspect vehicle and guided ground units in for a vehicle stop. The two adult male suspects were arrested and booked into county jail for assault with a deadly weapon and the knife was found inside the car. The victim was transported to UCD with serious injuries.

13-82830, Robbery, 1500 block of W El Camino, 11:34 a.m.
A victim met the suspect to sell him a cell phone he had listed on a website. The suspect took the cell phone by force and fled on foot. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s.


13-83028, Found Property, 5300 block of Dunlay Dr., 4:56 p.m.
A person was out on a walk and located a bag on the street containing a rifle. Police responded to book the property into evidence.

13-83248, Stolen Vehicle, W Silver Eagle/Northgate, 10:31 p.m.
Officers responded to take a report of a stolen vehicle. Two hours later officers located and stopped the stolen car. The driver fled on foot, but was ultimately captured. Javier Villa, 27, was booked into county jail for theft of a vehicle.

13-82270, Disturbance, 2000 block of San Juan Rd., 7:27 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance between roommates. Roommate Brenda Hayden, 22, had vacated the apartment days earlier and was back was attempting to retrieve personal belongings causing a disturbance. Hayden was agitated and continuing to cause a disturbance and refusing to comply with officer’s orders. Officers attempted to detain Hayden, yet Hayden was resistive. She was eventually handcuffed and arrested for assault on a police officer. Both officers sustained minor injuries.


13-82471, Outside Agency Assist, 2800 block of El Centro Rd., 10:36 p.m.
Officers responded to assist the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department on a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was located, contacted and detained without incident.


13-82613, Burglary, 2900 block of Truxel Rd. 12:51 a.m.
Officers responded to an alarm call and found that entry was made into the building. An unknown subject broke into the building and stole items from a vending machine. Police K-9 was utilized to search the building, but no suspects were found inside.

13-80153, Burglary, 4600 block of Black Rock Drive, 2:18 p.m.
Multiple apartments were burglarized in the area. The incidents appeared to have occurred in the morning or early afternoon hours. Reports were taken and CSI responded to assist with the investigation.


13-80200, Dead Body, Northgate Boulevard/Arden Garden Hwy, 3:27 p.m.
Officers were hailed regarding a report of a dead body in the area. Responding officers located the deceased subject and no suspicious circumstances were observed. The coroner was advised and took over the death investigation.


13-80518, Attempt Robbery, 10 block of Masterson Court, 9:21 p.m.
The adult victim was walking when she was approached by a subject who attempted to grab her cell phone. The suspect was unsuccessful and he ran off to an awaiting vehicle. A report was taken and no injuries were reported.


13-80654, Burglary, 1500 block of W El Camino Ave, 1:09 a.m.
Officers responded to a burglary to a closed business in the area. Forced entry was observed and items were taken from inside. CSI responded and a report was taken.

13-74692, Suspicious Person, 2500 block of West El Camino Ave, 9:23 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject seen in the area. Witnesses were concerned that the subject was possibly in the area casing and alerted police. The subject left the area prior to officers’ arrival and was unable to be located.


13-75391, Fatal Vehicle Accident, 4200 block of Northgate Boulevard, 9:25 p.m.
Officers were called by the Sacramento Fire Department who was already on scene of a solo-vehicle motorcycle collision. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. It is believed at this time that the driver lost control, left the roadway and struck a fixed object. Traffic collision investigators were called to the scene to assist with the investigation.

13-74455, Suspicious Vehicle, 200 block of Shrike Cir, 11:28 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. A 15-year-old juvenile reported that she observed the vehicle driving in the area and thought its driving pattern was suspicious. The vehicle’s occupant(s) made no attempt to contact the juvenile and the area was searched by responding officers with negative results.


13-74491, Warrant Arrest, Pebblewood Dr/Stonecreek Dr, 12:17 a.m.
David Nunez, 36, was arrested for his outstanding warrant after being contacted by officers during a bicycle stop.

13-70231, Assault, 800 block of Barros Dr., 10:23 a.m.
A suspect got into an argument and pushed his girlfriend while she was holding their infant. She put the baby down and he then pushed her down to the ground again. Officers arrived and took the suspect into custody for domestic violence and child endangerment. Claudio Hernandez, 20, was transported to the county jail on both misdemeanor charges.


13-70290, Robbery, 1500 block of West El Camino, 11:57 a.m.
Zeary Stubbs, entered a store, selected merchandise and attempted to leave without paying. Stubbs, 40, ran from security when they attempted to detain him outside the store. Security were able to detain him nearby prior to police arriving. Stubbs was booked into county jail for robbery and violation of probation.

13-70774, Burglary, 2400 block of Waters Edge Way, 8:32 p.m.
A victim came home and noticed her purse missing from her kitchen counter. She went outside and saw two subjects standing between her home and the neighbors. One of the subjects had her purse. The victim chased the suspect, but ultimately could not catch them. Officers arrived and searched the area. The suspects were not found. The subjects entered through an unlocked door.

13-69197, Subject Stop, Truxel Road/Gateway Park Dr, 11:41 a.m.
Officers contacted a subject for panhandling. Patrick Burkart, 44, was identified and later arrested for violation of parole.

13-68967, Domestic Violence, 3300 block of Arena, 1:49 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and a possible domestic violence. The female victim eventually admitted to being the victim of domestic violence and a report was taken.


13-68839, Probation Search, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 11:33 p.m.
Officers responded to the above location to conduct a probation search. During the officers search nothing illegal was located. Later in the night officers responded to the area for a report of a physical fight and discovered it was possibly related to the same address where they had completed the earlier search. Officers then located and were able to shut down at large party that was occurring at the search location.

13-67258, Domestic Violence, 1100 block of Rio Royal Way, 2:06 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence involving a knife. The victim was reportedly assaulted with a knife by his girlfriend during an altercation. The suspect was taken into custody upon officers’ arrival and booked without incident. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries that did not require medical attention.


13-67262, Disturbance, Watseka Way/Broadwater Dr, 2:10 p.m.
A witness reported seeing what they believed to be a juvenile in possession of a rifle. Upon contact by officers it was discovered that the juveniles were in possession of an imitation rifle. They were taken home and this incident was discussed with their parents.


13-67867, Arrest, Northgate Blvd/Turnstone Way, 1:35 a.m.
Michael Placencia, 58, was taken into custody for possession of narcotics after a search of his vehicle was done.

13-66637, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, 3500 Northgate Blvd /San Juan Rd. 8:44 p.m.
Officers contacted three subjects inside a vehicle parked at a gas station. Three of the four that were contacted were ultimately arrested. Vanessa Amaya, 26, was arrested for possession of metal knuckles and violation of probation. Robert Sanchez, 25, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and violation of parole and a 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested for possession of metal knuckles.


13-66433, Assault, 2900 block of Truxel Rd., 5:22 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of multiple subjects in a fight. Officers arrived and detained multiple subjects. It was determined that the fight was between students from two separate schools. Report was taken.


13-66816, Disturbance, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 12:13 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a fight. Officers arrived on scene, located a party and found a subject in the street threatening to fight other people. When the subject was confronted by officers he ran, but was subsequently caught. The 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested for evading the police and for public intoxication. While officers were on scene they heard two gunshots in the area.

13-65082, Burglary Report, 3000 block of Stanhope Way, 9:53 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a vacant house that occurred last week. Upon arrival forced entry was observed and items were taken from inside the home. A report was taken.


13-65858, Robbery, 1800 block of Club Center Dr, 1:02 a.m.
The victim was walking in the area when the suspect approached her. The suspect produced a handgun and robbed the victim at gunpoint then fled on foot with the victim’s property. No injuries were reported. The area was searched by responding officers but the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect was described as a black male adult in his 20s.

13-64412, Vehicle Accident, W El Camino Avenue/Grasslands Dr., 3:27 p.m.
Officers responded to a single vehicle rollover accident. The vehicle was traveling east on W El Camino Avenue at a high rate of speed. The 22-year-old male driver lost control of his car, left the roadway and struck multiple objects. The driver was transported to UCDMC with life-threatening injuries. Traffic investigators responded for the collision investigation.


13-64830, Suspicious Circumstance, Railroad Drive/Del Paso Boulevard, 11:23 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a bb gun shooting. Victims reported to dispatch that the suspects in a green Jeep Wranger drove up, asked the victims if they wanted to buy weed and then shot at them with a bb gun. No injuries were reported. The area was checked by ground units and SacPD Air1. No suspects were located. The victims did not remain on scene and were unavailable for police contact. A report was generated of the incident.

13-063322, Subject Stop, W El Camino Ave / Truxel Rd, 7:38 a.m.
An officer was driving and saw a subject he knew to be a parolee-at-large. The officer stopped and arrested the male subject.

13-62528, Suspicious Subject, 3700 block of Northgate Blvd, 1:16 p.m.
Officers contacted a subject and found that he was in possession of stolen property from an auto burglary. Alton Rogers, 32, was arrested and booked without incident.


13-62611, Robbery, 4600 block of Natomas Blvd, 3:14 p.m.
An unknown suspect walked behind a controlled area of a pharmacy. The suspect didn’t say a word and removed four bottles of cough syrup containing codeine. When the pharmacist attempted to stop the suspect she was shoved out of the way. The suspect fled the area on foot. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 25-30, 5’8”, stocky build, dark complexion with possible acne scars. Investigation is in progress.


13-62945, Assault, 2500 block of River Plaza Drive, 9:04 p.m.
Two roommates were in a heated argument that turned physical. One roommate sustained minor injury from an object being thrown during assault. Neither party wished to pursue charges.

13-62077, Suspicious Vehicle, 3500 block of Northgate Blvd, 11:04 p.m.
Officers located two vehicles, with multiple apparent juvenile occupants, in a gas station parking lot. Both vehicles and their occupants were eventually searched and multiple guns were located. Four subjects were arrested for possession of the loaded handguns that were seized.

March 8 (incidents are from shifts starting March 7)<\strong>

13-60729, Stabbing, West El Camino Ave/Stonecreek Dr, 3:34 p.m.
Officers responded to this location concerning a stabbing that occurred. Upon arrival officers contacted the adult male victim in his 50’s who had been stabbed in the hand by the male adult suspect. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening. The suspect, Keven Neal, 54, was taken into custody for assault.


13-61138, Arrest, West El Camino Ave / Thelma Way, 11:41 p.m.
Gerald Garduno, 60, was taken into custody for his violation of parole warrant after he was contacted riding a bicycle.

March 7 (incidents are from shifts starting March 6)

13-59768, Suspicious Activity, N. Bend Drive/Gateway Park Blvd, 2:36 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area. An elementary school student indicated that an adult male attempted to speak to him while he was walking home from school. The child did not respond to the subject, immediately left the area and was unharmed. Detectives were notified and this investigation is ongoing.


13-59881, Brandishing, 3700 block of Innovator Dr, 4:15 p.m.
The juvenile victim indicated his former estranged friend pointed a handgun at him in the above area. Officers responded and located two juveniles nearby that were related to this incident – one of which was believed to be the person who brandished a gun at the victim. A search of the primary suspect’s residence revealed a loaded gun and a BB gun. Further investigation revealed a second firearm hidden in the backyard of the juvenile acquaintance the suspect was with at the time of police contact. The juvenile suspect was booked on multiple charges including terrorist threats and various prohibited weapons charges.


13-060174, Suspicious Activity, 3400 block of Bridgeford Dr,10:19 p.m.
Officers followed up on a report of a gun that was possibly seen by a third party during a physical fight. The involved party was contacted and this incident appears to be unfounded.

March 6

13-57847, Welfare Check, 3500 block of Pike Ave., 12:54 p.m.
Three children walked to a relative’s house and complained that they were hungry and that they couldn’t wake up the mom. Officers responded, located the children’s home and contacted the mother at the residence. Mother was ok. CPS was notified.

13-56807, Subject Stop, Hwy 160/Northgate, 8:34 a.m.
Officers contacted and arrested Curtis Calvin, 48, for possession of methamphetamine, needles and a switchblade.


13-56826, Assault, 2000 block of Club Center Drive, 9:08 a.m.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a fight between a male and a female. Ultimately both parties were arrested and found to be in possession of a stolen rental car.


13-56987, Subject Stop, Garden Hwy/Northgate, 1:42p.m.
Officers contacted and arrested Tim Berry, 29, for possession of methamphetamine.

March 3 (incidents are from shifts starting March 2)

13-56523, Medical Aid, 2600 block of San Juan Rd., 10:55 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a citizen that was on the ground in the roadway. A security guard was hailed by citizens regarding the female. The security guard pulled her out of the roadway and onto the sidewalk where the female became assaultive on the security guard. The guard deployed his CED and was eventually detained. The 50-year-old female was transported to the hospital for evaluation and was also cited and released for assault.

13-54806, Dead Body, 4500 block of Natomas Blvd, 11:57 a.m.
Officers responded to the area for the purpose of a welfare check on a subject who did not show up for work. The subject was located deceased inside his residence and nothing suspicious was observed. The coroner responded and took over the investigation.


13-54640, Stolen Vehicle, Northgate Blvd / El Camino Ave, 11:01 p.m.
Officers were on scene speaking to the victim who had just had their car stolen. A second officer, who was on routine patrol, observed the victim’s vehicle occupied by two possible suspects in the above area. The two suspects were contacted and the driver was ultimately arrested for vehicle theft.


13-55611, Reckless Driving, Del Paso Road/National Dr, 12:29 a.m.”
Officers responded to a report of sounds of vehicle racing in the area. Upon arrival numerous subjects/vehicles were located who began to flee the area. One vehicle was observed fleeing at a high rate of speed with no headlights on. The driver was contacted, cited for reckless driving, and his vehicle was towed.

March 1 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 28)

13-53535, Suspicious Person, NorthBorough Dr/N. Park Dr, 9:08 a.m.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a possibly armed subject. Officers quickly arrived and multiple area schools were placed on a brief lockdown as a precaution. The area was saturated with patrol units and a CHP air unit assisted with searching the area. No armed person was located and the lockdown was lifted a short time later. The caller was re-contacted and could not provide any further information regarding what he had observed.


13-53795, Suspicious Subject, 2500 block of New Market Drive, 2:30 p.m.
Officers responded to the area on a report of a suspicious subject/vehicle. A student reported seeing a black Ford cargo type van with rust on its front bumper following her in the neighborhood. The van was driven by a male White in his 30’s.

Feb. 28 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 27)

13-52877, Traffic Stop, Northgate Blvd/San Juan Road, 3:32 p.m.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and the driver was found to be on searchable probation. A search of her vehicle revealed a prohibited weapon (billy club). Mellisa Fulmer, 19, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail without incident for the weapon charge.

Feb. 27 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 26)

13-51707, Dispute, 1300 block of Chuckwagon, 12:54 p.m.
The call originally came in as an armed robbery and that suspects fled in the area of Northgate and San Juan. The robbery was unfounded, but it was found to be a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend. Davonte Oliver, 19, was contacted. A search of his home yielded marijuana plants, a stolen vehicle and an assault weapon. Oliver was booked on multiple charges.

13-52351, Homicide, 2200 block of Atrisco Circle, 11:52 p.m.
Officers responded to a 911 call of a woman screaming. Officers arrived and found a 9-year-old victim with blunt force trauma to his head. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. His father, Phillip Hernandez, 36 was later found walking in the area and arrested for the homicide. Hernandez was booked into county jail. The weapon was recovered at the scene. Homicide investigators, Coroner’s Office and CSI responded. Investigation is in progress.

13-51052, Child Neglect, 3400 block of Summer Park Drive, 6:35 p.m.
Officers were called to assist CPS with a child abuse investigation. The 13-year-old victim was contacted and found to have injuries. The child was taken into protective custody and Alfred Reams, 33, was arrested for felony child abuse. Reams is being held in the Sacramento County Jail; his bail has been set at $50,000.


13-51132, Robbery, 1900 block of San Juan Rd., 8:33 p.m.
The victim left his apartment and encountered three suspects near San Juan Rd. One suspect came behind the victim and shoved what the victim perceived as a handgun into his back and demanded the victim’s property. An actual gun was never seen. After the victim gave the suspects his property they fled on foot. The victim walked off and was approached again by the same three suspects. This time one of them demanded the victim’s phone then ran off once again. All three suspects were described as black male adults. One main suspect was described as being in his early 20s, 5’11”, 170, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with possibly with a gray hood, and blue jeans.


13-51295, Traffic Stop, Northgate/Columbus, 12:40 a.m.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and contacted Tina Provost and Robert Islas. Provost, 44, was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun and later booked into county jail on multiple gun related charges. Islas, 51, was found to be in possession of heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine. Islas was also arrested and booked into county jail for drug related charges.

13-49757, Vehicle Stop, Honor Parkway/Bill Bean Cir, 11:37 a.m.
A marked patrol unit attempted to stop a vehicle when it fled from the officer’s signal to stop. A vehicle pursuit ensued and terminated when the suspect vehicle struck a center median. All of the four occupants immediately fled from the vehicle on foot. The adult male driver and an adult male passenger were eventually located with the assistance of K9. The two juvenile female passengers were caught after attempting to flee through an apartment complex. The vehicle revealed to be stolen from an outside agency jurisdiction.

Loss prevention requested assistance with a shoplifter. Upon arrival the subject was identified and issued a no trespassing order.

13-48986, Sexual Assault, Bonfair Ave/Tynebourne Street, 4:05 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault by a known suspect. The juvenile suspect reportedly assaulted a family member and was taken into custody by responding officers.


13-48460, Missing Person Follow-up, 500 block of Aviator Cir
Officers continued to follow up regarding a 10-year-old missing person. Information was received that suggested the missing juvenile was in the care of a family member. The juvenile was eventually located, unharmed, and is back in the care of her legal guardian.


13-49297, Subject Stop, 400 block of Harding Ave, 9:38 p.m.
Officers observed a suspicious subject loitering in the area. Upon contact with the subject it was learned that a second subject was hiding in the area and possibly armed with a gun. When additional officers arrived, the female subject reportedly hiding was located and found to be in possession of a replica handgun. Tammy Venegas, 41, was discovered to have multiple outstanding arrest warrants. Venegas was booked into Sacramento County Jail for her warrants without incident.

13-47834, Suspicious Activity, North Park Dr/Banfield Dr, 11:56 a.m.
Officers responded to the area and contacted a juvenile who was reportedly brandishing a gun. Officers eventually located the juvenile and determined that he was actually in possession of a replica handgun (BB gun). The juvenile subject was arrested for altering or changing an imitation air gun.

Officers located Gino Crespo, 22, who was booked for his outstanding warrant.


13-48460, Missing Person, 500 block of Aviator Circle, 11 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a missing juvenile. The 10-year-old reportedly ran away and a report was taken.

13-46831, Suspicious Activity, 3400 block of Fong Ranch Road, 12:42 p.m.
Officers responded to the area regarding a student that was found to be in possession of marijuana and a replica handgun. The 17-year-old juvenile was booked into juvenile hall for possession charges and brining a weapon (BB gun) on school grounds.


13-46981, Suspicious Activity, 2500 block of New Market Drive, 3:13 p.m.
Officers responded to the area concerning a juvenile male subject believed to be armed with a handgun while riding his bike. Officers quickly arrived and detained the subject. The juvenile subject was discovered to have been in possession of a replica handgun and led officers to fake gun’s (BB gun) current whereabouts. The suspect was cited for possession of a weapon on a school campus.

13-46117, Suspicious Subject, 100 block of Beecham Ct., 4:49 p.m.
Officers did an attempt pick-up of a subject that had a felony warrant. One subject attempted to flee out the back window, but then retreated back inside after seeing officers in the backyard. The occupants were called out of the house and multiple people were detained. Parole-at-Large Aaron Arcusa, 44, was arrested and booked into county jail.

Anthony Rodriguez, 18, was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. He was booked into county jail.


13-46337, Suspicious Circumstance, 3800 block of Rosin Ct., 9:07 p.m.
Officers contacted and arrested two subjects that had felony warrants. Robert Twofeather, 34, and Karen Hughes, 23, were booked into county jail. Twofeather was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was in violation of his probation.

13-44865, Found Property, 3200 Block of N. Park Dr, 10:40 a.m.
A loaded firearm was located in a garbage can of a middle school. Further follow up was completed and a 14-year-old juvenile student was identified as placing the gun in the trashcan. The juvenile was arrested for multiple weapons charges and booked into Juvenile hall.


13-44837, Suspicious Person, 3400 block of Fong Ranch Road, 10:10 a.m.
A student had been called to the principal’s office on an administrative matter. The student was observed dropping off a backpack at the library prior to going to the office. An employee checked the backpack and found a loaded handgun. The 16-year-old juvenile student was arrested and booked for weapons charges.


13-45358, Robbery, 3800 block of Willow Street, 8:32 p.m.
Three subjects entered into a restaurant and robbed the business at gunpoint. Two employees were physically assaulted by the suspects who stole cash. The suspects fled and were unable to be located by responding officers.


13-45388, Robbery, 2600 block of Northgate Boulevard, 9:20 p.m.
Three suspects robbed a liquor store at gunpoint. Two employees were physically assaulted by the suspects. The suspects stole cash and fled the store on foot. This incident appears to be related to (13-45258). Multiple patrol resources were dedicated to the area in an attempt to locate the suspects. The suspects are described as male Hispanic adults in their 20’s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 140 to150 pounds.


13-45391, Robbery, 3200 Block of Northgate Boulevard, 9:28 p.m.
Three suspects believed to be related to two other robberies (13-45388 and 13-45358) entered into a business and stole cash from an employee at gunpoint. The aggressive suspects took cash before fleeing on foot. Officers were already in the area and made it to the scene very quickly but the suspects were unable to be located. CSI responded to assist with the investigation.

Bank employees became suspicious of woman attempting to cash a large check. It was determined that Allison Lozoya, 18, was attempted to forge a signature on the check and was eventually taken into custody by responding officers.


13-44983, Suspicious Person, Dunlay Dr/Northborough Dr, 1:19 p.m.
Officers contacted aggressive door-to-door solicitors in their vehicle when neighbors called in to report their activity as suspicious. The occupants of the vehicle were identified and a suspicious activity report was taken.

Officers contacted Tanya Canady, 43, sitting in her parked vehicle. Canady was taken into custody when narcotics were located in her vehicle after a probation search was done.

13-43996, Vandalism, 1800 block of William Bird Ave, 9:19 a.m.
Sometime overnight an unknown subject(s) spray painted the victim’s vehicle with a racial epithet and other writings. The victim heard kids outside during the night, but didn’t think anything of it. CSI responded and a report was taken.

13-43215, Outside Agency Assist, 2300 block of Oak Harbour Dr., 10:10 a.m.
Sacramento Fire Department requested Police assistance with an apartment fire. They extinguished the fire and found a male occupant deceased inside the home. At this point, there is nothing to indicate that the death is suspicious. Fire personnel are investigating and the Coroner responded.


13-43458, Assault, 3300 block of Winter Park Drive, 4:27 p.m.
Kenneth Dahlen, 59, was contacted and arrested by officers while investigating an assault. The suspect and his complex manager had an ongoing disagreement. The suspect attempted to strike the victim with his car and missed, but backed up and attempted to hit her again, this time striking her in the arm. The victim received minor injuries as a result of the assault. Dahlen was booked into county jail for assault with a deadly weapon.


13-43649, Subject Stop, Northgate Blvd/Rio Tierra, 8:29 p.m.
Officers contacted and arrested parolee-at-large Raymond Torrence. Torrence, 47, was booked into county jail.


13-43842, Missing Person Report, 2300 block of La Lima Way, 12:32 a.m.
A teenager ran away from home and was later seen by family members nearby, yet she ran from them. Officers checked the area, investigated and where unable to find the 13-year-old. A report was generated and the female was put into the missing persons system.

13-42209, Suspicious Activity, 5400 block of Boswell Dr., 10:06 a.m.
A neighbor reported a marijuana grow inside a residence in the neighborhood. Police responded and found approximately 200 plants inside. Officers investigated, obtained a search warrant and seized evidence. Investigation is in progress.


13-42753, Assault, San Juan Rd/Northgate Blvd., 9:14 p.m.
A victim of a shooting arrived at an emergency room and officers were called to investigate. The victim sustained non-life threatening gunshot wound to his upper body.

13-41434, Outside Agency Assist, Northgate Blvd/Patio Dr, 4:12 p.m.
Officers responded to assist an outside agency who was in pursuit of a suspect wanted on a felony warrant. The pursuit came into Sacramento Police jurisdiction, exited the freeway at Northgate Blvd, and collided with an uninvolved vehicle. The suspect immediately fled on foot from his car. With the Sacramento police air unit overhead directing officers, the suspect was quickly apprehended in the area. The occupants of the other car sustained non-life threatening injuries that were treated at a local hospital.


13-41583, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, Northgate Blvd/Harding St, 7 p.m.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and found two occupants of the vehicle to have outstanding warrants. A search was done and one occupant was found to illegally be in possession of prescription medication for sales.


13-41906, Stolen Vehicle, Crest Drive/North Bend Dr
While heading to an unrelated call for police service a patrol vehicle was nearly struck by a vehicle with no lights on. Officers immediately discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen from an outside jurisdiction. The driver was safely contacted and taken into custody without incident for vehicle theft charges.

Officers responded to a report of a missing person. The 14-year-old missing person left home after being disciplined. A report was taken and the MP was entered into the system.

Officers responded to the area when an outside agency requested assisted with two suspected wanted subjects barricaded inside a residence. SPD SWAT and HNT were called out and the two individuals eventually surrendered peacefully.

13-38590, Possession of Stolen Property, 2500 Block of Venture Oaks Way, 6:36 p.m.
Officers responded to a suspicious person that was going through a purse. Upon arrival officers contacted the subject and determined the purse to be stolen property. Rapid follow up to the stolen purse was conducted and the suspect was identified as possibly being responsible for multiple thefts in the area. This investigation continues to be ongoing.


13-38888, Domestic Violence, 600 block of Satano Drive, 3:59 a.m.
The victim was driving when her ex-boyfriend chased her and intentionally rammed her car with his vehicle. The suspect was contacted by responding officers after subsequently colliding with a fixed object with his vehicle. The suspect was booked for domestic violence and assault. No injuries were reported by the victim or the suspect

Officer responded to a burglary to a residence where cash and other personal items were taken. Witnesses in the area recognized the suspect as the victim’s brother who was later taken into custody by officers. The victim’s property was recovered and the suspect was booked into jail for burglary.

13-032657, Suspicious Activity, 3200 block of North Park Drive, 1:48 p.m.
Officers responded to a middle school when staff discovered a student in possession of an unloaded handgun on campus. Staff observed two students passing something back and forth and acting if they were hiding something. The students were contacted and their backpacks were immediately searched. The gun was taken from the 13-year-old student and eventually given to responding officers. Officers investigated and believe the gun was never loaded while in the possession of the juvenile and that it belonged to the juvenile’s parent. The student was taken to juvenile hall and booked for bringing the firearm to school.


13-032819, Assault, San Juan Rd / Bridgeford Dr, 4:01 p.m.
Officers responded to a subject who had been stabbed and sustained a non-life threatening injury. The 17-year-old victim and suspect are known to each other and were involved in a physically altercation just prior to the assault. The 20-year-old suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival and a report was taken.

Officers arrested a passenger of a vehicle during a traffic stop. Ubaldo Fuentes, 41, attempted to falsely impersonate another subject to avoid arrest. Officers eventually learned his true identity and he was taken into custody for violation of parole and false impersonation.

13-031542, Assault, 900 block of Hawk Ave, 8:57 a.m.
Sylvia Paez-Garduno, 47 was contacted and arrested after investigating an assault. Paez-Garduno and the victim became involved in an argument over drugs. The argument became violent and Paez-Garduno stabbed the victim in his upper extremity.

Dispatch received a call of a vehicle illegally parked in front of a fire hydrant. Neighbors had reported that the vehicle was responsible for reckless driving the night before. Ultimately, the vehicle’s owner was not found and the vehicle was towed.

13-029204, Sex Assault, 2600 block of Stonecreek Dr, 2:32 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a sex assault report. The victim reported that a male acquaintance sexually assaulted her. The 42-year-old suspect was identified, located and arrested.


13-029172, Traffic Accident, Truxel Rd / I 80 Wb, 12:53 p.m.
Police responded to a traffic collision on the overpass. The collision caused traffic delays in the area. A pick-up and an SUV collided which caused the SUV to overturn. Both parties were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.


13-029266, Robbery, West El Camino/ Truxel Road, 3:49 p.m.
A victim contacted a patrol officer and told him that he was just robbed. The victim was riding his bicycle in the area on Friday night when he was shoved off his bicycle. The suspect demanded the victim’s cash. The suspect then took the victim’s wallet and cash out of the victim’s pockets and fled. The suspect was described as possibly a black male, 6′, thin and wearing dark clothing.


13-029609, Robbery, 4500 block of Gateway Park Blvd, 10:46 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a business. Three suspects entered the occupied restaurant, ordered the customers and staff to empty their wallets. The three suspects fled with money and wallets from the customers, and money from the business till. All three suspects were possibly black males, thin builds, approximately 5’9″-6′ tall, young adults and they were all armed with handguns. Two of the suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, and face coverings. One suspect was wearing grey sweatshirt.


13-029586, Disturbance, 2900 block of N Platte Way, 10:25 p.m.
Officers dispersed a large crowd that was occupying a vacant house. The party was said to have approximately 300 individuals. Gunshots were heard during the dispersal, but officers were unable to locate the origin of the sound. No injuries were reported.

13-027506, Suspicious Subject, Northgate Blvd/San Juan Rd, 7:11 p.m.
Police contacted a suspicious subject parked in a vehicle in front of a liquor store. Upon contact the subject immediately exited the vehicle and began to walk away. As the officer attempted to detain the subject, he physically resisted and attempted to flee. After a brief struggle the subject was detained. A loaded handgun was located inside of the subject’s vehicle. The officer sustained minor scratches during the struggle. Arrested for possession of a hand gun was Robert Woodruff, age 30.

Three suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts broke the glass door of a business and stole various items. CSI responded to process the scene.

Jan. 30 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 29)

13-025223, Robbery, 3500 block of Del Paso Rd, 12:33 p.m.

Officers responded to a robbery of a bank. The suspect walked up to the teller, said he had a gun and demanded cash. Employees of the bank complied and the suspect left. No injuries were reported and the FBI also responded to assist with the investigation. No injuries were reported.


13-025249, Outside Agency Assist, 3500 block of N Freeway Blvd, 12:45 p.m.

Officers responded upon the request of an outside agency to attempt to locate a subject wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The suspect was located without incident and transferred custody to the other agency for booking.


13-025312, Missing Person Locate, 1000 block of Garden Highway, 2:21 p.m.

Missing Person Christian Lopez (13-22390) has been located and is unharmed. A witness recognizing Christian from a missing person bulletin and called police. Christian was taken out of the system and reunited with his family.


13-025031, Missing Person, 3300 block of Smoketree Dr, 7:56 a.m.

The 14-year-old missing person has history of running away and was last seen leaving school around noon on January 28, 2012.


13-025868, Assault, 4900 Block of Natomas Blvd, 3:12 a.m.

The victim was met by a known subject (suspect) regarding an ongoing dispute from weeks prior. When the victim arrived to meet the known suspect he, along with two additional suspects, physically assaulted the victim and took his wallet, keys, and vehicle. Officers responded and an investigation ensued. Follow up by responding officers resulted in all three suspects being located and taken into custody for multiple charges including carjacking, conspiracy, robbery, and assault. The victim sustained multiple injuries that appear non-life threatening.

13-024302, Robbery, 3100 block of Northstead Dr, 10:53 a.m.

The victim was walking in the area when the suspect robbed her at gunpoint. The victim was not injured as a result of the robbery; however, she was transported to the hospital after feeling ill from a pre-existing condition. The suspect is described as a male White in his 20’s.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Upon arrival evidence of forced entry was located and multiple items were reported missing. A report was taken and CSI responded to assist with collection evidence.


13-024277, Missing Person, 2200 block of Anton Way, 10:23 a.m.

A 19-year-old missing person was last seen on Friday, January 25, 2012. There is no prior history of the MP leaving for this length of time. A missing person report was taken and he has been entered into the system as an MP.

13-023942, Vehicle Pursuit, Great Egret Ct / Far Niente Way, 9:58 p.m.

During a traffic stop the driver of the vehicle drove away and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit was terminated by the officer due to unsafe conditions. A felony evading report was taken and this investigation is ongoing.


13-023953, Robbery, Hawk Ave / Thelma Ave, 10:00 p.m.

The victim was walking in the area when she was approached by multiple suspects who robbed her at knifepoint. The suspects forcibly took the victim’s purse and fled. The victim was uninjured and the suspects were unable to be located in the area. The suspects are described as male Hispanics and male Blacks in their late teens.

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Upon officers arrival the victim reported she was physically assaulted by her husband and had visible non-life threatening injuries. Justin McGuire, 39, was arrested for domestic violence and booked in the Sacramento County Jail.

The victim was walking to her car when a male white adult in his 20’s approached her and demanded cash at gunpoint. The victim gave the suspect her money and the suspect fled on foot. The victim was uninjured and a robbery report was taken.

Officers located Giovannia Abraza, 39, for his outstanding violation of parole warrant after investigating a landlord/tenant dispute.

13-021930, Burglary, 2800 block of Aquino Drive, 4:57 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the area concerning a residential burglary that just occurred. Three juvenile suspects were chased on foot by the resident of the home prior to officer’s arrival. Officers quickly arrived and set up a perimeter. A search of the perimeter ensued with the assistance of witnesses in the area. All three juvenile suspects were eventually located and arrested for burglary.

Officers responded regarding a missing 24-year-old male. The missing person was last seen at approximately 0900 hours at a store in the area of Truxel Road and I-80. A missing person report was taken and the MP was entered into the system.

Officers responded for a report of a missing 14-year-old. The missing juvenile did not return home from school and a missing person’s report was taken.

A stolen occupied vehicle was located by police and the driver, Keilan Buffington-18, was taken into custody without incident.

Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a closed business. Signs of forced entry were observed but noting appeared to have been taken from inside. A report was taken and this investigation is ongoing.


13-019040, Theft, 4100 block of Northgate Boulevard, 2:55 p.m.

Officers responded to reports of multiple subjects suspected of stealing merchandise from a store. Upon arrival officers contacted all three subjects. One of the three was arrested for burglary and the other two were identified and interviewed at the scene.

13-017470, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, Northview Dr / Los Lunas Way, 4:51 p.m.

Officers contacted and arrested Larion Osipov and Yuriy Rybikov. Osipov, 25 was arrested for possession of drugs and possession of a stolen vehicle. Rybikov, 23, was also arrested for possession of drugs. Both were booked into county jail.


13-017679, Suspicious Subject, Northgate Blvd / Haggin Ave, 9:28 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress. Parole agents assisted in apprehending the uncooperative suspect. Though no burglary occurred, the suspect was found to be in possession of burglary tools. Julio Basquez, 26, was arrested for resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools.


13-017734, Burglary, 1900 block of Del Paso Rd, 10:33 p.m.

A witness reported hearing glass break and saw a subject inside a business. When the suspect was confronted by the witness, the suspect fled. A perimeter was set by responding police and the subject was found by K-9 hiding in groundcover in a residential area. Donald McGuckin, 46 was later booked into county jail for burglary.

13-016807, Shooting Into Dwelling, 200 block of Cashman Cir, 9:07 p.m.

Police responded to a report of gunshots in the area. A neighbor and security guard located casings in front of a residence. Officers arrived and found bullet holes in a house and a vehicle that was parked on the road. No suspect information was uncovered and no injuries were reported.

Officers responded to a deceased person found in a vehicle. The adult male subject was found to have intentionally inhaled chemicals. The coroner responded to the scene.

Officers called for emergency assistance after a subject armed with a loaded gun attempted to flee from a vehicle they had stopped. Smiley Martin, 18, physically resisted officers requiring the request for additional officers. All six occupants of the vehicle were eventually detained with the assistance of other responding officers. Martin was eventually booked for multiple weapons violations.

13-013391, Domestic Violence, 2000 block of W El Camino, 12:47 p.m.

The victim reported a physical altercation between her and her boyfriend. Upon arrival officers determined she had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend and he was taken into custody without incident. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Officers also located narcotics on the suspect’s person and he was booked on multiple charges including domestic violence and narcotics possession.

13-012223, Burglary, 3500 block of Airport Road, 7:28 a.m.

Officers responded to the area regarding a residential burglary. The suspect forced entry into the home and cash was taken.


13-012697, Sexual Assault, 1800 block of Bridgecreek Drive, 4:45 p.m.

Officers contacted the victim who reported being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance. This investigation is ongoing.


13-012374, Arrest, Cleveland Ave/American Ave, 11:25 a.m.

Officers located and arrested a subject for two outstanding felony arrest warrants.


13-012420, Traffic Stop, San Juan Rd / Northgate Blvd, 12:17 p.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and determined an occupant in the vehicle was wanted for an outstanding arrest warrant.


13-012946, Burglary, 3200 block of Azevedo Drive, 10:02 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a subject who entered a vacant residence. The subject was arrested for violation of his parole and burglary charges.

13-011332, Burglary, 2900 block of Weald Way, 7:47 a.m.

Officers responded to a burglary report. A suspect entered the victim’s detached garage and stole computers.


13-011404, Stolen Vehicle, Indiana Ave / Northgate Blvd, 9:35 a.m.

Officers located and stopped a stolen vehicle. The driver was taken into custody without incident. Tyler Kruse was arrested for the stolen vehicle, violation of probation and for being in possession of methamphetamine.


13-011702, Welfare Check, 2500 block of Aimonetti Ave, 3:55 p.m.

Officers responded to a residence for a welfare check of a male subject. Officers forced entry to find the male subject in need of medical assistance. Fire and ambulance responded to transport the subject to the hospital.


13-011954, Attempted Burglary, 3600 block of Stemmler Dr., 9:09 p.m.

Officers responded to a possible burglary in progress. A resident reported an unknown subject attempting to make entry into his home. Officers arrived and were unable to locate the suspect.

13-009327, Assault, 1500 block of Baines Ave, 8:04 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The suspect assaulted his wife then fled the area prior to police arriving. The victim sustained minor injuries in the assault and it was found that the suspect was in violation of a restraining order. Investigation is in progress.


13-009450, Suspicious Subject, 1600 block of Scarlet Ash Ave, 10:43 p.m.

Ariyanna Bolts, 25, was contacted and arrested for her outstanding warrant.


13-009586, Sex Assault, 3100 block of Iberian Dr, 2:54 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a sexual assault. The male suspect and adult female victim are known to each other. Investigation is on-going.

13-007159, Follow Up, 5600 block of Bridgecross Dr, 12:30 p.m.

Officers from the North Crime Suppression Team conducted follow up regarding a prior vehicle burglary. Officers were able to recover stolen property. Investigation ongoing.


13-007197, Attempt Pick Up, 3200 block of Truxel Rd, 1:12 p.m.

Officers located and arrested Deniro Nolan 24, for two outstanding felony warrants. He was arrested by officers the week prior but failed to appear for court.


13-007615, Robbery, 2700 block of Orchard Ln, 10:32 p.m.
Employees called police regarding an armed robbery that just occurred. The suspect was described as a male black adult and was seen leaving in a vehicle. Work up was done on the vehicle which led to the arrest of a subject. Investigation ongoing.

13-006191, Assault, W El Camino Ave / Gateway Oaks Dr, 9:28 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic violence incident. The victim was assaulted by her boyfriend then fled. Officers ultimately located suspect Jose Martinez, 23, and arrested him for domestic violence.


13-006287, Welfare Check, 2100 block of Sherington Way, 11:51 a.m.

Officers responded to check the welfare of a subject. The intoxicated female was found and transported to the hospital for medical treatment.


13-006853, Robbery, 1500 block of W. El Camino Ave, 12:27 a.m.

A victim was robbed at gunpoint walking to her car after withdrawing money from an ATM. The suspect took the money then fled. The suspects were described as five male adults with accents.

Jan. 8 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 7)

13-005451, Assault, 2500 block of Millcreek Dr, 10:36 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Joseph Ahlin, 26, was contacted and later arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. The assault happened in front of their 17-month-old son. Ahlin was arrested for domestic violence and for misdemeanor child endangerment.


13-005459, Suspicious Subject, 3600 block of Northgate Blvd, 10:42 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious occupied vehicle. The witness reported that a subject inside the vehicle possibly had a gun and was pointing it at another unoccupied vehicle close by. Officers responded and were unable to locate the vehicle and no victims were located.

Jan. 7 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 6)

13-004966, Robbery, Truxel Rd./San Juan Rd, 5:59 p.m.

The victim was walking and was approached from behind by the suspect. The suspect, armed with a gun, pushed the victim to the ground, assaulted him and stole the victim’s property. The suspect then fled on foot. The suspect was described as a black male adult in his early 20s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a face covering.

13-002867, Tresspassing, 2600 block of Stonecreek Dr, 8:01 a.m.

Offices were hailed regarding a suspicious person sleeping in a vacant residence. The subject ran from responding officers but eventually surrendered and was detained. The subject was taken into custody for trespassing and his outstanding arrest warrant.

Jan. 4 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 3)

13-002617, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, 3600 block of Freeway Blvd, 9:34 p.m.

Witnesses called the police after observing a subject in a vehicle who was possibly armed. Officers quickly responded and detained the subject without incident. The item revealed to be a replica handgun. The subject was arrested for altering an imitation gun to resemble a real firearm and violation of his probation.

Jan. 3 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 2)

13-001836, Traffic Stop, Rio Tierra Ave / Northgate Blvd, 1:33 a.m.,

Officers conducted a traffic stop when a passenger immediately fled the vehicle. Officers gave chase to the fleeing occupant and a perimeter was set up. Christopher Brown-27 was eventually caught by officers stationed on the perimeter. Brown was booked for his two active felony arrest warrants, resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

Jan. 2 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 1)

13-000614, Vehicle Stop, 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue, 3:19 p.m.

During the course of a vehicle stop the driver of the car fled on foot from the officer. The officer gave chase and was eventually able to detain the suspect who was taken into custody for multiple charges including resisting arrest.

12-351981, Burglary, 2800 block of Stonecreek Dr, 11:50 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a school. Unknown subject(s) entered the building and stole property. Investigation is ongoing.
