Crimes reported here are preliminary investigations, taken in the field by patrol officers, and may or may not be assigned to a detective for further investigation. The information provided may be found after further investigation to be incorrect or false. Certain details of these incidents have been removed due to potential follow up investigation into the incident and/or for privacy rights.

February 24 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 23)

14-049842 (Missing Person Report): 2200 block of Glenrio Way at 7:39 a.m. Police responded to a report of a missing person. The 14-year-old ran away and was added to the missing person’s system.

February 23

14-049459 (Theft): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 7:55 p.m. An officer was patrolling the area and was hailed regarding a theft. The suspect immediately fled from the unit, but was ultimately captured and taken into custody without further incident.


14-049752 (Traffic Stop): Truxel Rd / Gateway Park Blvd at 2:08 a.m. Officers made a traffic stop and found one of the occupants to be in possession of a sawed off shotgun. The 15-year-old was booked into juvenile hall.

February 22 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 21)

14-048340 (Foot Pursuit): 2700 block of Stonecreek Dr at 6:24 p.m. While working directed-proactive patrol in the area, Officers from the North [Command] Gang Enforcement Team approached a group of seven subjects gathered in the area of the 2700 block of Stonecreek Drive. As officers were making contact with the group, a gun fell from one of the subject’s person and another subject (later identified as Josiah Jones, 18) immediately fled on foot from officers. An officer gave chase to Jones who led police of a foot pursuit through an apartment complex. The officer heard what he believed to be a single gunshot when the suspect was briefly out of his view during the chase. The officer cautiously continued to trail the suspect who could be seen continuing to run away. A perimeter was established and the suspect was quickly located hiding near the area where he was last seen fleeing. A handgun, believed to be the one that was fired by Jones, was also located near the area he was found hiding. Additional evidence was gathered from the scene by CSI and a canvas for witnesses was conducted throughout the area. All seven of the suspects were transported to police headquarters for questioning which resulted in the ultimate arrest of three of the involved persons. While being questioned, suspect Jones attempted to explain away discomfort in his right leg to a preexisting injury he claimed he had reinjured while running from police. Detectives became suspicious of Jones’s claims and inspected the inside of his pant pocket. Signs where soon discovered which led detectives to believe Jones’ gun had discharged while inside his pocket – striking himself in the leg. Jones was transported to an area hospital via ambulance to be treated for his self-inflected non-life threatening injury prior to being booked into jail. Among his charges were multiple weapons violations, gang enhancement charges and discharging of a firearm in a grossly negligent manner. Elondre Green, 20, was identified as the subject who was also in possession of a firearm, that police quickly detained as Jones was fleeing from officers. Green was charged with multiple weapons violations to include possession of stolen property due to the gun being reported as stolen. The third subject arrested was Treneil Joseph, 23 – booked for violation of his parole for his involvement in the above incident. No officers were injured as a result of this incident and gang detectives were also called in to further investigation the subjects involved in this incident. Lastly, narcotics were also located in the area where the subjects were detained and booked as evidence to this case. February 21 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 20) 14-047165 (Robbery): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 4 p.m. A subject attempted to steal a pair of shoes from a local business. When confronted by loss prevention officers, the subject fought with the officers and fled. An officer was in the area and was hailed regarding the theft. The subject was quickly located in the area and identified as Kenneth Walker, 49. Walker was arrested for robbery and transported to jail.


14-047096 (Medical Aid): 2800 block of Norcross Dr at 3:03 p.m. Officers responded to a residence regarding a subject that had contacted police advising that he wanted to commit suicide by cop. Officers arrived on scene and were able to make verbal contact with the subject and detain him without further incident. The subject was transported to an area hospital for a mental evaluation.


14-047601 (Subject Stop): Truxel Rd / Arena Blvd at 0031 hours. Officers contacted Nathan Moffett, 19, in the area. Moffett was in possession of a bottle of alcohol that still had a security cap on it. Officers were able to contact an area store who confirmed that the bottle had come from their store and had been stolen. Moffett was taken into custody and booked at jail.

February 20 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 19) 14-045781 (Medical Aid): 100 block of Dragonfly Cir at 8:01 a.m. Officers responded to the area to check the welfare of a subject that was driving erratically. Multiple callers were able to provide a description and license plate on the vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and contacted the driver, who was determined to be having a medical event and in need of assistance. A child that was in the vehicle at the time was unharmed and a parent responded to take custody.


14-046375 (Theft): 3200 block of Arena Blvd at 7:20 p.m. Officers responded to an area business for a theft that had just occurred. Officers were unable to locate the suspect in the area and a report was taken.


14-046534 (Disturbance): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 11:31 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject with a large knife in front of a business. Officers arrived and the subject complied with their orders to put down the knife and was detained without incident. The subject was identified as Maximo Serrano, 59. Serrano was arrested for brandishing and transported to jail. February 19 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 18) 14-045236 (Assault Report): 200 block of Bankside Way at 3:39 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an assault. It was reported that one 13-year-old assaulted another 13-year-old. Report was taken and SROs will be conducting following-up. February 18 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 17) 14-044054 (Suspicious Subjects): 5600 block of Whimsical Ln at 11:19 a.m. A witness saw three suspicious juvenile suspects near mailboxes. Officers arrived and contacted the subjects as they were leaving the area. Officers identified the three and sent them on their way.


14-044070 (Robbery): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 11:38 a.m. Several subjects entered the store and went toward the liquor isle. One of the suspects went to the caged area where the more expensive bottles were displayed and stole some of the products. The manager interrupted the theft and struggled with the suspect. The suspect was able to flee with several bottles of alcohol. He got into a burgundy sedan and fled.


14-044253 (Traffic Stop): Northgate Blvd / Garden Hwy at 3:24 p.m.Officers made a vehicle stop and found that the driver had an outstanding warrant. The driver was arrested and a search of the vehicle found approximately three pounds of marijuana and cash. The driver was arrested and booked on the narcotics charges and for his warrant. February 17 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 16) 14-043629 (Robbery): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 9:14 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a robbery. An unknown subject had his face covered, entered the business armed with a gun and demanded money from the employees. The employees did not have access to the safe and the suspect fled with the cash from the register. Follow-up is being conducted.

February 16 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 15)

14-042369 (Death Investigation): 1100 block of Hawk Ave at 2:38 p.m. Officers responded to a residence regarding a report of an infant not breathing. Officers rushed to the home, along with the Sacramento Fire Department who declared the 3-month-old female child deceased at the scene. The specific circumstances as to how the child passed away were not immediately clear and detectives were called out to assist with the investigation. CSI also responded to assist with documenting the scene. A cause of death is pending the coroner’s investigation.


14-042420 (Suspicious Circumstance): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd at 4:03 p.m.
Officers were dispatched to a call for service and found that one subject attempted to steal a bike. The subject was found to be in possession of burglary tools. He was cited for the bolt cutters that were found on his person. February 15 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 14) 14-041531 (Burglary): 2700 block of Del Paso Rd at 6 p.m. Officers arrested a subject for burglary who attempted to purchase narcotics with a fake prescription. Jacob Hardwick, 23, was booked without incident.


14-020832 (Stolen Vehicle): 800 block of Potomac Ave at 6:34 p.m. An officer saw a vehicle driving recklessly and quickly conducts a traffic stop on the vehicle. The car revealed to be stolen and the driver was booked for vehicle theft without incident. February 14 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 13) 14-040720 (Suspicious Vehicle): 3700 block of Kos Island Ave at 10:03 p.m.. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject sitting in a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located property in the car that later revealed to be taken in a burglary a few days prior. Detectives were called to the scene to look into the suspect’s involvement in the stolen property and any other possible crimes of theft. The male adult occupant of the vehicle was booked for possession of stolen property and this investigation is ongoing. February 13 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 12) 14-039128 (Assault): 1600 block of W El Camino Ave at 12:31 p.m. Officers responded to a call regarding a subject that had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers contacted the subject and determined that the stab wound was self-inflicted and non-life threatening. The subject was transported to an area hospital for treatment and a mental evaluation. February 12 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 11) 14-029710 (MP follow-up): 100 block of Enclave Pl at 9:38 a.m. An officer followed –up on a possibly armed and despondent MP. The MP was located unharmed outside the city and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.


14-038676 (Burglary): 3200 block of Foggy Bank Way at 10:29 p.m. Victims returned to their home and found that they were burglarized. Two firearms were among the items stolen. February 11 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 10) 14-037027 (Suspicious Subject): 2000 block of W El Camino Ave at 12:16 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a subject unclothed and causing a disturbance. The subject was contacted and taken to a hospital for evaluation.


14-036932 (Theft Investigation): 300 block of Mill Valley Cir N at 10:15 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a subject that has been giving money to a friend for investments, however family was alerted to this and became suspicious of the validity of the investments. Officers are conducting follow-up to the case.


14-037352 (Medical Aid): 600 block of Greg Thatch Cir at 6:11 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject that committed suicide. No foul play was observed. The coroner responded. February 10 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 9) 14-036715 (Domestic Violence): 100 block of Beecham Ct at 1:49 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic violence incident. As the officer arrived in the area, he saw the suspect driving away. When the suspect stopped, she attempted to discard contraband that she had concealed in her clothing. The officer contacted, identified and ultimately arrested the suspect. February 9 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 8) 14-035453 (Suspicious Circumstance): 3200 block of Azevedo Dr at 1:06 p.m. Officers responded to a report of gunshots. Officers arrived and located two of the three subjects involved in the apparent shooting. No victims were located, no gun was recovered, however shell casings were found nearby. The two fled from police prior to their capture. Both subjects were arrested for delaying and resisting the officers in their duties. February 8 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 7) 14-034414 (Disturbance): 3300 block of Fong Ranch Rd at 12:26 p.m. An officer quickly responded to a report of an agitated juvenile. During attempts to mediate the incident the student reportedly physically struck two school security staff members. The student continued to be resistive and pulled away from the responding officer who was ultimately able to physically detain her. Patrol units assisted as an added measure of security in case of continued issues resulting from the original disturbance. The combative student was eventually booked into juvenile hall for charges related to battery on a school official. February 7 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 6) 14-033847 (Robbery): 3600 block of Northgate Blvd at 8:03 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred. Officers arrived and contacted loss prevention officers for an area business, who advised that they had attempted to stop a shoplifter who then displayed a knife and fled the area. The suspect was not located and a report was taken. February 6 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 5) 14-032297 (Suspicious Item): 4100 block of Northgate Blvd at 8:13 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious device. Officers observed the item upon arrival, which was determined to not be dangerous.


14-032372 (Dispute): 100 block of Naponee Ct at 9:54 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving possible squatters. Officers contacted the subjects, and determined the tenancy may be related to an ongoing civil issue.


14-032923 (Medical Aid): 4800 block of Verena Ln at 8:40 p.m. Officers responded to a residence for a subject that had just stabbed himself. The injury was determined to be non-life threatening but the subject was transported to the hospital via ambulance to be treated.


14-032842 (Shots Fired): 1400 block of Helmsman Way at 6:48 p.m. Officers were responding to a call for service in the area when they heard gun shots in their immediate vicinity. Officers continued to check the area and came upon two subjects. One subject fled on foot when he saw the officers. A perimeter was set up and both subjects were detained. A discarded firearm was also located in the area. One of the subjects was booked for reckless discharge of a firearm and other weapons charges. The other subject was booked for public intoxication. February 5 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 4) 14-031325 (Missing Person): 500 block of Summer Garden Way at 6:39 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing 15-year-old who ran away from home sometime last night. A report was taken and possible locations of the teenager were checked with negative results. February 4 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 3) 14-030440 (Traffic Accident): Fredericksburg Way / N Park Dr at 7:43 a.m. Officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. The 13-year-old bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital as a precaution.


14-030611 (Burglary): 3800 block of Innovator Dr at 11:56 a.m. A victim came home to find his home burglarized. Unknown suspect(s) took personal property, money and jewelry. February 3 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 2) 14-030275 (Attempt Pick-up): 200 block of Picasso Cir at 11:18 p.m. Officers conducted an attempt pickup of subjects that had outstanding warrants. The two subjects were located inside the residence and were booked into county jail.


14-030412 (Dead Body): San Juan Rd / Tumbleweed Way at 4:43 a.m. An officer on patrol came across a subject down on the side of the road and requested fire to respond for medical aid. Fire pronounced the male, in his late 50s, deceased at the scene. No immediate signs of trauma, injury or foul play were detected. The coroner responded and will complete their investigation. February 2 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 1) 14-029255 (Burglary): 4800 block of Natomas Blvd at 8:37 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a call of a subject that just rang the complainant’s doorbell then was seen on her patio. Officers arrived and located the subject hiding in some bushes nearby. He was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit and booked for burglary.


14-029439 (Domestic Violence): 700 block of Northfield Dr at 11:39 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence call. A suspect went to his girlfriend’s house upset and the mother refused to let her in. The suspect retrieved a gun and started banging on the door again and making threats. The suspect, Brieon Fulton, 20, ultimately fled on foot. Officers responded, investigated and the suspect returned. When he returned he was arrested for threats and brandishing. The firearm was recovered and found to be a bb gun. February 1 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 31) 14-027731 (Arrest): 2500 block of New Market Dr at 11:18 a.m. Officers responded to the area and located a subject wanted for burglary. The juvenile suspect was located without incident and booked into juvenile hall.


14-027930 (Pursuit): West El Camino Ave/I-5 at 3:04 p.m. Officers attempted to stop an occupied stolen vehicle in the area of West El Camino Ave and Interstate-5. Esteban Araujo, 24, was ultimately identified as the driver of the stolen vehicle once he was taken into custody. Araujo led officers on a lengthy pursuit that ended in the area of Vernon Road and Garden Hwy. Suspect Araujo fled on foot at the termination of the pursuit and was taken into custody after he attempted to swim in the Sacramento River to avoid capture. Angelica Lopez, 27, was a passenger at the time of the pursuit. No injuries were reported. Officers located stolen property inside of the vehicle from a recent theft that occurred in a neighboring jurisdiction. Both Araujo and Lopez were booked on charges related to possession of stolen property. Araujo was additionally booked for vehicle theft, evading and being an ex-felon in possession of ammunition. January 31 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 30) 14-027042 (Vehicle Accident): Truxel Rd / I 80 Eb at 4:59 p.m. Officers responded to the area for the report of a vehicle accident with injuries. Two parties were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One of the drivers involved in the collision showed signs of intoxication. A preliminary DUI investigation was conducted and the driver was transported to jail for suspicion of DUI.


14-027109 (Robbery): 2000 block of Arena Blvd at 5:58 p.m. Officers responded to the area for the report of a robbery to a person that had just occurred. The suspect fled the area on foot and was not located. The victim was not injured. A report was taken and CSI responded to assist.


14-027154 (Robbery): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 6:44 p.m. Officers responded for a robbery that had just occurred an at area business. After stealing items from a store, the suspects were confronted by employees outside the business. A fight ensued and one of the employees sustained non-life threatening injuries. A report was taken and the investigation is on-going.


14-027360 (Traffic Stop): Sandcastle Way / Seamist Dr at 11:23 p.m. Officers patrolling in the area observed a suspicious vehicle. When the officers attempted to make contact with the occupants of the car, it sped off. Additional officers responded to assist. A tac-strip was deployed to stop the fleeing vehicle, which was successful in deflating the tires. The vehicle continued driving and a PIT maneuver was utilized to bring the vehicle to a stop. The driver, identified as Gilberto Ramirez ,33, was detained and showed signs of extreme intoxication. Ramirez was transported to an area hospital where a DUI investigation was conducted. Ramirez was released from police custody and charges are pending the completion of his medical treatment. January 30 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 29) 14-026190 (Burglary): 1500 Block of W El Camino Ave at 8:26 p.m. Officers arrived on scene of a burglary call when as the suspect was exiting the closed business with stolen property. He immediately saw the officers and surrendered. The suspect was booked for burglary and his outstanding warrant.


14-026293 (Robbery): 2800 block of Del Paso Rd at 10:32 p.m. Officers responded to assist a loss prevention officer who attempted to physically restrain a theft suspect. The suspect was able to flee to a waiting vehicle and a report was taken. No injuries were reported.


14-026399 (Traffic Stop): 2500 block of Millcreek Dr at 12:48 a.m. One subject was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI after officers stopped the car for reckless driving. January 29 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 28) 14-024697 (Burglary): 100 block of Jade Tree Cir at 9:47 a.m. Officers responded to the area for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers determined that the suspect had fled and had not made entry into the residence. A report was taken. January 28 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 27) 14-023762 (Sex Assault Report): 2600 block of Gateway Oaks Dr at 10:38 a.m. Officers responded for a report of a possible sex assault of a 2-year-old. A report was generated and detectives were advised.


14-023924 (Disturbance): 2000 block of W El Camino Ave at 1:48 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a restraining order violation. The subject was contacted, arrested and ultimately booked into county jail for the violation. January 27 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 26) 14-022954 (Robbery): Natoma/Curran at 9:27 a.m. The victim and suspect have a child together and ran into each other on the bike trail. The victim went to take something out of her pocket when money fell out. The suspect then demanded the money, pushed her and took the money. The suspect was contacted by police and arrested for robbery.


14-023080 (Attempted Burglary): 2600 block of Millcreek Dr at 1:12 p.m. Officers responded to a ringing alarm. The homeowner found that someone tried to force their way through a small sliding bathroom window. Nothing appeared to be taken. Witnesses were contacted and provided investigative information. Investigation is in progress. January 26 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 25) 14-022019 (suspicious Occupied Vehicle): 2000 block of Club Center Dr at 11:11 a.m. Officers contacted subjects seated inside a parked vehicle. The subjects were identified and two were ultimately arrested for possession of marijuana for sale.


14-022828 (Burglary): 3300 block of Northgate Blvd at 2:42 a.m. Upon arrival of a ringing alarm at a closed business, officers saw a subject coming out of the building. The suspect fled on foot. A perimeter was set up, however officers were unable to locate him. The suspect possibly stole cash from the register. He was described as a black male in this late teens-early20s, black puffy jacket, black pants and a red and white knit hat. January 25 January 24 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 23) 14-020597 (Theft): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd at 9:10 p.m. Officers received a call of a theft in progress from an area business. The suspect was quickly detained by an officer that happened to be in the area. The suspect was identified as Michael Hopkins, 47. When contacted, Hopkins was also found to be in possession of a handgun. Hopkins was transported to jail and booked for theft and weapons charges. January 23 14-019077 (Theft): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 12:08 p.m. Officers responded to an area business for a report of security detaining two subjects for shoplifting. The male had threatened to assault the loss prevention officer prior to being detained. Officers contacted and identified both subjects who were transported to jail without further incident.


14-019109 (Arrest): 2800 block of Stonecreek Dr at 12:40 p.m. Officers responded to a report of two arrows that had landed on the grounds of an elementary school. Officers were able to locate a subject from a neighboring apartment complex responsible for shooting the arrows. It is believed that the arrows ad inadvertently travelled onto school property. No one was struck by the arrows or injured during the incident; however, the subject was arrested due to his negligence and the potential for injury. The subject, in his late teens, was booked for assault with a deadly weapon – likely to cause injury.


14-019565 (Suspicious Person): 4100 block of Northgate Blvd at 8:44 p.m. Officers responded to the area to attempt to contact two subjects that had been identified by loss prevention officers as burglary suspects from a neighboring jurisdiction. As the suspects attempted to leave the business today, with additional merchandise, they were contacted and arrested.


14-019622 (Domestic Violence): 3200 block of Lemitar Way at 10:19 p.m. Officers responded to a large fight involving numerous subjects where gun shots were heard. Officers arrived and found that one of the parties had left with a juvenile that had possibly been injured by the gun fire. Officers were able to contact all of the parties involved. It was determined that the initial dispute was domestic violence related and both parties’ families had responded to the scene and become involved in the altercation. Officers were not able to locate a handgun or establish who was responsible for discharging the firearm that had injured the juvenile. The juvenile was transported to an area hospital along with another victim that had also been injured during the altercation. One of the involved parties was booked at jail for assault charges.


14-019667 (Robbery): 3400 block of Colchester Ave at 11:25 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, they contacted the victim, who had sustained minor injuries during the robbery. The victim advised that a male Black adult suspect had approached her, physically assaulted her and then took her purse. The male was last seen running away on foot and was not able to be located by responding officers. A report was taken. January 22 14-017948 (Burglary): 100 block of Promenade Cir at 7:33 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a business where computers were stolen. A report was taken.


14-017979 (Suspicous Circumstance): Truxel/Pebblestone at 8:32 a.m. A 15-year-old female was walking when an unknown subject grabbed her arm and said something unintelligible. The girl swung at the man, freeing her arm and ran home. The suspect did not attempt to force her anywhere and was believed to be intoxicated. The subject was described as an unshaven white adult male, 40-50 years-old, wearing a grey sweater, jeans and white shoes. The circumstance was documented and the School Resource Officers were notified.


14-018629 (Robbery): 4700 block of Natomas Blvd at 8:57 p.m. A woman shoplifted and fought with security when confronted. The known suspect fled in vehicle prior to police arrival. Follow-up will be conducted. January 21 14-016581 (Attempt Robbery): 1700 block of Daggett Way at 12:50 p.m. The victim reported that last week he was walking when a vehicle drove past, stopped and backed up to the victim. A suspect got out with what appeared to be a gun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim only had a few objects in his possession. The suspect got back into the car and fled after threatening the victim. Nothing was taken.


14-017402 (Suspicious Subject): 900 block of San Juan Rd at 1345 hours. The victim was walking east on San Juan when a bicyclist riding by quickly touched her inappropriately and continued riding. The suspect was described as having an olive complexion and was possibly Hispanic or white. He was wearing a yellow jacket and had a gray or black backpack. January 20 January 19 14-015621 (Burglary): 3000 block of Funston Dr at 12:01 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an alarm, arrived and found that a subject attempted to make entry into the house, but was unsuccessful. A witness called in stating a subject was climbing over a fence and was carrying duffel bags. The suspect was located and the officers conducted an investigation. Ultimately the subject was arrested for burglarizing another home in the area. He was arrested for burglary and attempted burglary and booked into county jail. 14-015839 (Suspicious Subjects): 2900 block of Truxel Rd at 5:01 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject that was exposing himself near a playground. Officers arrived, contacted witnesses for the report and investigated. Follow-up is being conducted.


14-016272 (Traffic Accident): Truxel Rd / Arena Blvd at 1:12 a.m. Officers in a marked patrol vehicle collided with another vehicle near Truxel and I-80. The officers were uninjured; however minor injuries were reported to the two occupants of the second vehicle. No medical aid was requested. Accident report was generated. January 18 14-015384 (Burglary): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd 3:24 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a closed business. Property was taken from inside and forced entry at the front of the business was observed. A burglary report was taken. January 17 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 16) 14-014174 (Burglary): 500 block of Del Verde Cir at 10:39 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers found that a suspect had attempted to make entry to the apartment but was not successful. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the suspect. A report was taken.


14-014189 (Theft): 3500 block of Truxel Rd at 10:56 p.m. Officers responded to the area for the report of a bicycle theft that had just occurred. Officers contacted the victim, who provided a description of the bicycle. While checking the area, officers located a suspect riding the bicycle. The victim was appreciative that the bicycle had been returned and did not want to press charges. January 16 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 15) 14-012586 (Welfare Check): 2800 block of Del Paso Rd at 1:32 p.m. SPD received reports of a female panhandling in the area with a baby. The female and baby were contacted. Other family members were located in the area. The family was advised on resources.


14-012745 (Arrest): 1400 block of Brewerton Dr at 3:52 p.m. Officers responded to a residence in the area to attempt to contact Andrew Ford, 31. Ford was known to have an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody.


14-012852 (Stolen Vehicle): 3800 block of Northgate Blvd at 5:15 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a stolen vehicle recovery. The officer on scene determined that the vehicle was involved in a misdemeanor hit and run and conducted a follow up investigation.


14-013027 (Burglary): 100 block of Jade Tree Cir at 8:21 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a burglary that was interrupted by the homeowner. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects. A report was taken.


14-012750 (Disturbance): 1800 block of Del Paso Blvd at 3:53 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance at an area business. The subject causing the disturbance was contacted on scene and detained by officers. The subject was determined to have some mental issues. He was issued a notice of trespass and transported home. January 15 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 14) 14-011207 (Burglary): 100 block of Jackdaw Ct at 10:40 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Officers arrived and located two subjects in the fenced yard removing screens. The suspects fled over multiple fences and were ultimately located; one by use of k9 and the other was located inside his family’s home. SSD helicopter assisted in tracking the suspects. Jamar Cole, 19 and the 15-year-old male were taken into custody for burglary and resisting arrest.


14-011364 (Traffic Accident Fatal ): Duckhorn Dr / Far Niente Way at 6:12 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle accident. The vehicle lost control and hit a pole broadside. The adult male passenger was transported to UCDMC where he did not survive his injuries and the male adult driver was also transported with serious injuries. A traffic callout was initiated and investigators responded. Speed is being considered a factor.


14-012024 (Theft Investigation): 2100 block of Natomas Crossing Dr at 8:02 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a victim’s computer that was taken off a table from inside a business. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 20s, thin and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. January 14 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 13) 14-010468 (Domestic Violence): 2200 block of Barandas Dr at 7:07 a.m. Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers arrived and contacted both parties. The female had visible injuries do to the male half’s assaultive behavior. The male was arrested and booked into county jail for domestic violence.


14-010747 (Welfare Check): Zurlo Way / Dawnelle Way at 1:23 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a found child. The mother and her 2-year-old son were reunited approximately 45 minutes later. It was found that the child was in the backyard and went through a hole in the fence along with the family dogs. The incident was investigated and documented with a report. January 13 (incidents are from shifts starting Jany 12) 14-009781 (Trespassing): 2000 block of Club Center Dr at 11:41 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject that was detained at a store. The suspect was ultimately arrested for trespass. January 12 (incdients are from shifts starting Jan. 11) 14-008803 (Assault): Truxel Rd / Mammoth Way at 11:03 a.m. A victim and his friend were driving when an argument turned physical. The known suspect then shoved the victim out of the vehicle while the vehicle was moving. The victim sustained minor injuries in altercation.


14-008933 (Robbery): 700 block of San Juan Rd at 2:10 p.m. A developmentally disabled adult victim was at a store, was approached by two suspects and pushed down to the ground. The suspects then forcibly stole his wallet and fled. One suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s, thin, white sweater and blue jeans. The second suspect was described as a black male adult, in his early 20s, thin and wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. January 11 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 10) 14-008034 (Stolen Vehicle): 3800 block of Rosin Ct at 3:18 p.m. Officers were conducting increased patrol in the area when they came upon a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was found to be occupied by a subject in possession of narcotics. Further investigation into a nearby hotel room associated with the suspect revealed a subject with an arrest warrant and additional narcotics. Both subjects were arrested and booked without incident.


14-008379 (Suspicious Circumstances): 1600 block of Main Ave at 9:04 p.m. A currier company grew suspicious of a package after an employee reported to his supervisor the distinct odor of marijuana coming from the parcel. The box was turned over to police, confirmed to contain marijuana hash oil, and ultimately booked for destruction at police property.


14-008633 (Burglary): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd at 4:35 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary with signs of forced entry in to the closed business. I was unknown at the time of the report if anything had been taken and the incident was documented.


14-007758 (Pursuit): 200 block of Richards Blvd at 9:06 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a possible stabbing in progress. Officers rushed to the scene and located the suspect as he was leaving in the victim’s truck. It was quickly discovered that the victim had been stabbed by the suspect (later identified as Maximiliano Hernandez, 21) who robbed the male adult victim of his truck. Medical aid was immediately summoned for the victim who was found at the original scene with multiple stab wounds. As other officers continued to follow Hernandez, it became extremely apparent of his intentions to escape capture as he refused to yield to the officers’ signal to stop – accelerating away from them at speeds in excess of 100 MPH. The dangerous felon led police on a pursuit that traveled southbound on I-5, and then back northbound the same highway until it ultimately terminated near the interchange of I-80. At the termination of the pursuit, Hernandez was involved in a solo-car collision when he drove the truck into a center divide. The vehicle immediately became disabled and Hernandez was quickly and safely taken into custody without further incident. No other injuries were reported and CHP also responded to assist with the collision investigation. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital and is expected to recover. Hernandez received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to an area hospital. Hernandez has been found fit for incarceration and has been booked into jail for the multiple felony charges. January 10 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 9) 14-006843 (Vehicle Accident): Truxel Rd / Vallarta Cir at 8:50 a.m. Officers responded to the area for a traffic collision involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was found to have moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital. All parties, including witnesses to the collision, were contacted and a report was taken.


14-006910 (Suspicious Activity): 2500 block of New Market Dr at 10:21 a.m. Officers responded to the area for the report of a subject with a gun. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area that was armed. An area High School was placed on lockdown while officers searched the area. When the area was cleared by officers the lockdown at the school was lifted. January 9 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 8) 14-005914 (Threats): 200 block of Cashman Cir at 6:5 a.m. Officers conducted follow up on an earlier report of possible threats involving a juvenile suspect and victim. Both parties and their parents were contacted and the situation was mediated. The involved school was also notified for potential follow up. An incident report was taken.


14-006057 (Fraud): 2000 block Natomas Crossing Dr at 10:42 a.m. Officers responded to a bank in the area for possible fraud activity in progress. The officers arrived on scene and contacted a female in possession of a fraudulent check. It was determined that the check was possibly part of a financial email scheme to trap unsuspecting persons into cashing fraudulent documents. An information report was taken.


14-006688 (Hit and Run): 4400 block of Gateway Park Blvd at 12:36 a.m. Officers responded to the area for the report of a possible assault. Officers contacted the victim and determined the incident was actually a hit and run vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and the suspect vehicle was described as a dark pick-up truck. A report was taken.


14-006742 (Assault): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 3:10 a.m. Officers responded to the area for a report of a loud argument. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim, who was later determined to have a non-life threatening injury that required medical treatment. The suspect was also on scene and contacted by police. The investigation revealed that both subjects were known to each other and a verbal argument escalated into the suspect striking the victim with a blunt object. The suspect was booked for assault. January 8 January 7 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 6) 14-004961 (Robbery): 3200 block of N Park Dr at 10:24 p.m. Two victims were seated in their vehicle in a parking lot when they were robbed at gunpoint. The two suspects took the victims cash, wallets and cell phones. Officers responded, gave a description of the suspect vehicle and began the investigation. SSD Star located the vehicle and directed ground units to the area. A high risk vehicle stop was done and the three suspects were detained. A gun was located as well as the victim’s property. All three suspects were arrested and booked, two into juvenile hall and the third into county jail for the possession of the stolen gun, robbery and conspiracy. Investigation is ongoing involving these subjects in a possible involved robbery that occurred earlier in the night out of jurisdiction. January 6 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 5) 14-003668 (DUI): 3500 block of Truxel Rd at 6:11 a.m. A driver went through a restaurant driver thru, ordered food and fell asleep at the wheel. The employee woke the sleeping driver who then drove into the parking lot where he fell asleep again. He was asleep with the car still running, in neutral and with the parking brake engaged. The police responded, contacted the driver and arrested him for DUI. Freddy Oleagaspar, 22, was booked into county jail. January 5 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 4) 14-002784 (Burglary): 3600 block of N Freeway Blvd at 6:47 a.m. Units responded to an alarm call, arrived and found a front door window broken. It appears an unknown subject entered the building, stole property and fled.


14-002827 (Attempt Pick-Up): 600 block of Sotano Dr at 8:47 a.m. Officers went to a residence for an attempt pick up. The subject wanted for an outstanding warrant was found hiding inside the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Joel Gibson, 19, was transported to county jail.


14-003112 (Assault): 1900 block of Roma Ct at 4:01 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an assault. Units arrived and found the two subjects were neighbors, got into an argument which escalated into a physical fight. During the fight one subject had hit the other with a stick and also bit the victim. The suspect was arrested and booked into county jail.


14-003412 (Robbery): 2000 block of Natomas Crossing Dr at9:56 p.m. A victim was returning to his car after taking cash out of an ATM when he was approached by two subjects, one displaying a handgun. The suspects demanded the money then fled once the victim handed it over. One suspect was described as a 23-year-old black male, 5’7” and 160 pounds. The second suspect was described as a black male, 25-years-old, 5’9”, 160 pounds wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. Follow-up is being conducted. January 4 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 3) 14-002032 (Domestic Violence): 2100 block of Zurlo Way at 10:47 a.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence incident. The victim complained of pain but refused medical aid. The suspect was transported to jail for domestic violence related charges.


14-002489 (Burglary): 4400 block of Truxel Rd at 8:39 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence. Upon arrival it was was determined that the suspect had fled the area and a report was taken. January 3 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 2) 14-001111 (Outside Agency Assist): 2100 block of American Ave at 944 a.m. SPD officers responded to assist an outside agency with contacting a wanted suspect. The suspect attempted to flee the residence on foot but was quickly detained and ultimately booked into jail.


14-001709 (Suspicious Circumstances): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 10:24 p.m. Officers responded to the area for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they contacted a private security company who advised a male that had been kicked out of an area business had fired several rounds from a handgun into the air while driving away. Evidence of the shooting was located but no injuries were reported. A report was taken. January 2 (incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 1) 14-000275 (Follow Up): 100 block of Cedro Cir at 4:39 a.m. Officers conducting follow up on a domestic violence investigation contacted the suspect. A large marijuana grow was located. The suspect was arrested for marijuana cultivation related charges. 14-001003 (Burglary): 4500 block of Gateway Park Blvd at 5:09 a.m. Officers responded to a business in the area after receiving an alarm activation. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed the business had been burglarized and the suspects had fled prior to officer’s arrival. A report was taken. January 1 (incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 31) 13-348885 (Burglary): 600 block of San Juan Rd at 7;29 a.m. Officers responded to report of a burglary. Forced entry was observed to the closed business and property was taken from inside. A Burglary investigation was completed.


13-348879 (Burglary): 4200 block of Pell Dr at 6:59 a.m. Officers responded to a report of forced entry into the side of a business. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken and the incident was documented.


13-349150 (Welfare Check): 3600 block of Tice Creek Way at 2:26 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a despondent subject. The subject was eventually safely detained and taken to the hospital to be treated.


13-349375 (Family Disturbance): 3500 block of Pike Ave at 7:03 p.m. Officers responded to the above location regarding a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers discovered the house was partially on fire and summoned the fire department. The subject was discovered to be attempting to harm himself and taken to the hospital for treatment.


13-349372 (Subject Stop): Gateway Park Blvd / N Freeway Blvd at 7 p.m. An officer was in the area when he observed a suspicious subject running from an area of a store. The officers recognized the juvenile as being in involved in previous similar activity possible related to theft. The 15-year-old was contacted and discovered to have just stolen alcohol. December 31 (incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 30) 13-348843 (Warrant Arrest): 2000 block of Club Center Dr at 3:11 a.m. Officers identified and located a subject that had outstanding warrants. The suspect was known to be inside his residence, however was refusing to come out for officers. Officers later made entry and the male suspect was ultimately apprehended with the use of police K9. December 30 (incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 29) 13-347513 (Traffic Accident): Garden Hwy / Northgate Blvd at 2:03 p.m. Officers responded to an injury accident involving two vehicles, one of which came to rest down an embankment. One vehicle sideswiped another, left the roadway and struck a tree. Both the driver and passenger in the vehicle that hit the tree were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.


13-347764 (Robbery): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 8:26 p.m. A victim was waking to her vehicle when she was approached by a female suspect and assaulted with either the suspect’s fist or a stun gun. The victim was knocked down, the suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and fled. The suspect got into an older white sedan and left the area. December 29 (incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 28) 13-346195 (Suspicious Subject): 1700 block of N Breezy Meadow Dr at 7:01 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject. The subject ran from police, but was ultimately detained and brought to a local hospital for evaluation.


13-346286 (Vandalism): 2900 block of Truxel Rd at 9:44 a.m. Officers responded to a report of graffiti containing profanity. A city crew was requested.


13-347078 (Stolen Vehicle Recovery): 3800 block of Rosin Ct at 11:30 p.m. An officer was patrolling a parking lot and found a stolen vehicle. A suspect walking away from the vehicle was contacted and ultimately arrested. Javier Vasquez, 31, was arrested and booked into county jail for possession of the stolen vehicle. A second subject inside the vehicle was also contacted, identified and arrested. She was identified as Martha Guillen. Guillen, 39, was booked for her outstanding warrant. December 28 (incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 27) 13-345391 (Burglary): 2700 block of Millcreek Dr at 11:50 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary that had occurred in the last week. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.


13-345915 (Domestic Violence): 4800 block of Natomas Blvd at 9:40 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence in progress. Officers quickly arrived on scene and confronted the combative suspect who unsuccessfully attempted to punch an officer. After a brief physical struggle with officers, the suspect was detained and eventually transported to jail for assault and domestic violence related charges. December 27 (incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 26) 13-344865 (Home Invasion): 2000 block of San Juan Rd at 6:17 p.m. The victim awoke to noises coming from the family room of the home. When she went to investigate she came upon a male suspect attempting to steal the family’s television. The victim confronted the suspect who dropped the TV and eventually fled the residence. CSI responded to assist with gathering evidence and the area was check by officers with negative results. December 26 (incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 25) 13-344270 (Shooting): 2200 block of Glenrio Way at 12:22 a.m. Officers responded to a reports of shots fired in the area. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting, however no victims or suspects were encountered. A home and a vehicle were struck by bullets. A report was generated.

November 1 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 31) 13-294837 (Suspicious Circumstances): 4100 block of Duckhorn Dr at 11:21 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject who had made threats regarding a gun. The subject was contacted and the weapons allegation revealed to appear to be unfounded. An information report was taken.


13-295597 (Robbery): 1600 block of W El Camino Ave at 2:12 a.m. Officers responded to the area for a report of a robbery. The two victims advised they were leaving an area business when one of the victims was confronted by two suspects that started to assault him. A third suspect was seen displaying a weapon causing both victims to flee the area, leaving their vehicle behind with the keys in it. When they felt it was safe to return to the area, they discovered that the vehicle had been taken. Both victims sustained minor injuries and a report was taken.


13-295511 (Disturbance): Truxel Rd / Gateway Park Blvd at 12:21 a.m. An officer in the area observed multiple subjects in a physical fight in the middle of the intersection. The subjects were eventually safely detained with the assistance of additional arriving officers. One of the involved parties was found to be in possession of narcotics and was transported to jail. Two of the other subjects were suspected to being intoxicated and were transported to jail for public intoxication. October 31 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 30) 13-293132 (Disturbance): 100 block of Bronco Creek Ct at 2:12 p.m. Officers responded to reports of squatters inside a supposedly vacant residence. Upon further investigation it was revealed that a subject fraudulently represented himself as a listing agent for the home resulting in the current occupants staying on the premises. A report was taken and this investigation is ongoing. October 30 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 29) 13-293204 (DUI): Barandas Dr / Orchard Ln at 3:27 p.m. Officers were driving in a marked patrol vehicle when a car passed them at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be DUI. Daniel Gorman,50, was arrested and booked into county jail.


13-293425 (Hit and Run Accident): 800 block of San Juan Rd at 7:52 p.m. The victim was attempting to cross San Juan Rd outside the crosswalk when a suspect vehicle sideswiped the victim. The suspect vehicle slowed as if to stop then fled the scene. The suspect sustained minor injuries, however was transported as a precaution. Suspect vehicle was described as a silver or tan mini-van. October 29 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 28) 13-292494 (Outside Agency Assist): Hwy 160 Eb / Northgate Blvd at 5:54 p.m. An outside agency requested assistance with a subject causing a disturbance. Officers responded and assisted the outside agency without incident.


13-292359 (Theft): 2500 block of W El Camino Ave at 3:51 p.m. Officers conducting follow up work on a theft located the stolen items for sale online. During the follow up, the suspects were located and taken into custody and the property was recovered. Lawrence Gonzalez, 33, and Gerald Paquette, 26, were booked into jail without incident.


13-292693 (Stolen Video): 3300 block of Arena Blvd at 10:48 p.m. Officers located a stolen vehicle and the driver was arrested without incident. Alfred Bradley, 20, was booked into jail. October 28 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 27) 13-291640 (Welfare Check): Truxel Rd / I 80 Wb at 5:47 p.m. A call was received of a female subject on the freeway overpass of I-80 and Truxel Rd who was on the outer side of the fence and appeared despondent. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the female who initially refused verbal interaction with the officers. The officer was able to talk the female to safety. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Westbound lanes of I-80 were temporarily closed for public safety. October 27 October 10 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 9) 13-275296 (Missing Person): 1600 block of Rockybend Dr at 11:21 p.m. Officers responded for a report of a 17-year-old female. The missing person was last known to be heading to a friend’s house a few days ago and never returned. A missing person report was generated.


13-275272 (Missing Person): 2100 block of Zurlo Way at 10:33 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing 19-year-old that was last seen on September 10, 2013. The missing person’s mother is concerned for her daughter’s welfare and a report was generated placing the MP into the system. The are no known locations where the missing person may be.


13-275298 (Burglary): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 11:22 p.m. The victim was inside her residence and observed someone reaching into her open window attempting to remove property. The subject immediately fled when the victim yelled out. A burglary report was generated. October 9 October 8 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 7) 13-273082 (Traffic Accident): N Bend Dr / Natomas Blvd at 1:36 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle vs. bicyclist accident. An 18-year-old male was riding his bike, crossed the intersection against the red light and was hit by a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for his injuries. DUI and speed were not factors. Major Traffic Collision Investigators responded to the scene. October 4 (incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 3) 13-269024 (Burglary Arrest ): 2500 block of W El Camino Ave at 9:39 a.m. Officers responded to citizens detaining a possible burglary suspect. Employees of an area restaurant, with the assistance of bystanders, detained the suspect and awaited police to arrive. Officers arrived on scene and detained Paul Neal, 53. It was determined that Neal had walked into an area business during business hours and removed money from the cash register. Neal was arrested for burglary and transported to jail.


13-269103 (Warrant Arrest): 2100 block of Sandcastle Way at 10:59 a.m. Officers on patrol recognized a subject with an outstanding warrant. Jarone Harris, 18, was taken into custody without incident.


13-269432 (Weapons Arrest): 3700 block of Northgate Blvd at 4:07 p.m.

Officers responded to the area for the purpose of a parole search. Upon arrival they may contact with the subject, identified as Elijah Mays, 23, and a search was done. A search of Mays’ residence located a loaded handgun with an extended magazine and marijuana. Mays was transported to jail for multiple weapons charges and possession of marijuana for sale.

August 5 (incidents are from shifts starting August 4) 13-208187 (Robbery): 3100 block of Northgate Blvd at 10:10 a.m. A suspect entered a business, pushed an employee, stole merchandise and fled. The victim flagged down two officers who then located the suspect close by. Stephen Ponce, 55, was arrested and booked into county jail for the robbery.


13-208252 (Child Endangerment): 3400 block of Soda Way at 11:53 a.m. Officers responded to a report of possible child abuse. Officers arrived and investigated and found the report to be unfounded.


13-208677 (Domestic Violence): 600 block of Norgard Ct at 9:22 p.m. Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The victim was forced into a car by her ex-boyfriend and driven to his home where he physically assaulted her. Alejandro Orozco, 31, was arrested for domestic violence and kidnapping.


13-208856 (Burglary): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 3:26 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm call and found that an unknown suspect(s) forced entry on a business and stole merchandise.


13-208884 (Burglary): 2000 block of Arena Blvd at 5:04 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary call. They found that the door had been removed and unknown subjects entered the business. Unknown what was taken. August 4 (incidents are from shifts starting August 3) 13-207320 (Theft): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 1:48 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a store for a report of stolen property. The two suspects stole tools and drove off in a vehicle. One suspect was described as a black male, 25, 6’1″, thin with dread locks, teal t-shirt and blue shorts. The second suspect was described as a black male in his late 40s, 6’1″ and thin. The suspect vehicle was a green SUV.


13-207563 (Assault): Del Paso Blvd / Northgate Blvd at 7:04 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing. Two subjects got into a verbal argument when one pulled out a knife and slashed the other. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect was described as an Hispanic male in his late 30s early 40s, 5’7″, dark shaved or short hair, thin, no shirt, camouflage pants and carrying a brown and black bag.


13-207837 (Subject Stop): W El Camino Ave / Northgate Blvd at 11:16 p.m. An officer contacted a subject in the parking lot of a store. The subject was in possession of methamphetamine and a glass pipe. Gyakunta Favors, 36, was arrested and booked into county jail for the drug charges.


13-208009 (Medical Aid ): 3300 block of Shadow Tree Dr at 2:15 a.m. Officers responded to assist SFD a medical aid report of an infant that was not breathing. The infant was transported to UCD and survived. Medical incident only.


13-208090 (Burglary): 1900 block of Danbrook Dr at 5:30 a.m. Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress. A license plate was provided to dispatch. Officers were on scene quickly and located the suspect leaving the area. The officers stopped the vehicle and ultimately arrested the suspect for the stolen property related to the burglary, possession of metal knuckles, possession of burglary tools and for outstanding warrants. Noble Guiseppi, 31, was booking into county jail. August 3 (incidents are from shifts starting August 2) 13-206220 (Domestic Violence): 2800 block of Gateway Oaks Dr at 12:38 p.m. Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The suspect physically assaulted his girlfriend and fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. An extensive search for the suspect ensued. The suspect’s family also aiding in the search and eventually advised officers they had located him at the dead end Gateway Oaks Drive. The noncompliant suspect was already walking away from his parents when officers were arriving. The suspect refused to comply with the officers’ commands to stop and the CED was deployed to safely detain the DV assailant. After being medically cleared, as a precaution, the suspect was booked for resisting arrest and domestic violence. August 2 (incidents are from shifts starting August 1) 13-205348 (Suspicious Circumstances): Opus Cir/Stemmler Dr at 3:59 p.m. Officers responded to a report of 19-year-old male subject sending explicit texts to a known minor. The male subject was a recent acquaintance of the female victim. The suspect was contacted and taken into custody without incident for distributing lewd material to a minor.


13-205804 (Stolen Vehicle): 2000 block of Garden Hwy at 12:01 a.m. Officers were in the area following up on a recent suspicious person report in the park when they came upon two vehicles and two subjects. One of the cars revealed to be a reported stolen vehicle and the person in possession of the car was detained. Raymond Farmer, 55, was booked for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and also found to be in possession of narcotics. August 1 (incidents are from shifts starting July 31) 13-204841 (Disturbance): 3800 block of Duckhorn Dr at 2:04 a.m. A subject arrived at his sister’s residence causing a disturbance. Just prior to officers’ arrival, the subject ran and hid from officers. The area was searched with negative results and other officers who patrol this area were advised of the circumstances in case he continues to harass his sister. July 31 (incidents are from shifts starting July 30) 13-203009, Domestic Disturbance 100 block of Derow Ct, 9:17 a.m. Officers responded to the area on a report of a domestic dispute. The victim had an active restraining order against the suspect who was arrested without incident. No injuries were reported. July 30 (incidents are from shifts starting July 29) 13-202114, follow-up, 3200 block of Arena Blvd, 12:06 p.m. Officers stopped a vehicle occupied by a known and wanted subject for possessing stolen property. The suspect was arrested and booked into county jail. Investigation is in progress


13-202247, Burglary, 100 block of Kitaj Ct, 2:31 p.m. A witness called into police when he saw subjects breaking into a neighbor’s house. The witness also reported a vehicle had backed into the victim’s driveway. Officers responded and all three suspects fled on foot. After a lengthy search, two of the three suspects were apprehended in neighboring areas. A vehicle was left at the scene and had the victim’s stolen property inside. Nobody was home at the time of the burglary. Neighbors assisted by calling tips into dispatch and providing witness statements. CSI responded to process the scene. K9 was deployed to capture one of the two male suspects. Investigation is in progress.


13-202784, Robbery, 1500 block of W El Camino Ave, 12:01 a.m. Two women met two men on the internet. Both couple met and went for a drive. They stopped the car so that one of the male subjects could use his cell phone. The male on the phone fled as the second brandished a knife and robbed the females of their wallet and cell phones.


13-202844, Robbery, 1800 block of Maykirk Way, 2:10 a.m. Police were dispatched to a robbery. A victim was with three acquaintances. They got into an argument while driving and the victim was struck by one of the subjects. The victim was then driven around by the suspects. The three suspects then robbed the victim of his property before they fled the vehicle and ran off on foot. July 29 (incidents are from shifts starting July 28) 13-200993, Attempt Theft, Northgate/Garden Highway, 8:55 a.m. Officers received a call of an attempted vehicle theft. The victim saw a suspect inside her car and attempting to start the car. Officers arrived on scene and the suspect immediately became non-compliant and belligerent. The suspect fought with officers and he was ultimately taken into custody.


13-201030, Robbery, 3200 block of Northgate Blvd, 10:04 a.m. A victim was approached by an unknown suspect who demanded her backpack. The suspect produced a gun, pointed it at the victim and took the backpack. The suspect fled in a 2003 BMW 4 door. The suspect was described as a black male, with light skin, green eyes, 5’3”-5’6”, short fade haircut, wearing a black/red sweater, blue jeans, black and red athletic shoes.


13-201253, Attempt Pick-Up, 3700 block of Northgate Blvd, 3:43 p.m. Officers contacted and arrested a subject for her outstanding warrant. Jessica Garnica, 26, was booked into county jail.


13-200958, Robbery, 3200 block of Truxel, 8:06 a.m. A suspect entered a business and then selected and concealed items. An employee confronted the suspect in which the suspect threatened the employee. Officers responded and contacted the suspect down the street. He was still in possession of the items. The suspect was arrested, found to be in possession of a replica handgun and booked into county jail.


13-201443, Disturbance, 2200 block of Citrine Way and 3800 block of Madrone Way, 7:04 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers arrived and found that a subject with a mental and health condition had threatened a family member and others with a knife. The subject was detained without incident and was transported for evaluation at a local hospital.


13-201722, Suspicious Circumstance, 3900 block of Mahogany St, 11:14 p.m. Officers responded to a possible burglary. Subjects were contacted at the residence and found that the occupants were residents. Officers conducted an investigation and probation search. Two of the multiple subjects fled, both were ultimately detained and arrested.


13-201512, Indecent Exposure, Stanhope/Pebblewood, 8:11 p.m. A female was walking her dog when a vehicle passed her and made a u-turn. The suspect called over to the victim and she saw the driver inappropriately touching himself. The vehicle then fled the area. The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, short hair, wire rimmed glasses. The vehicle was described as a 1990s, 4 door sedan, light blue or gray, oxidation on the hood and roof. July 28 (incidents are from shifts starting July 27) 13-199990, Robbery, 2600 block of Gateway Oaks Dr., 1:35 p.m. A suspect entered a business, assaulted a clerk and stole cash and merchandise. He fled in a vehicle that was driven by another suspect. The suspect that entered the store was described as a black male approximately 20 years old, 6’, wearing a black jacket, black hat, dark jeans and red tennis shoes. The driver of the car was described as approximately 20-years-old, curly hair, with a red shirt. The vehicle was a red 4 door late model Buick.


13-200224, Attempt Pick-Up, Mossy Bank Dr/Waterwheel Dr, 5:44 p.m. Officers developed information of a subject in an area that had a felony warrant. An officer later located Bobby Jones, 35, and took him into custody for his outstanding warrant. July 27 (incidents are from shifts starting July 26) 13-198686, Robbery, 2800 block of Del Paso Rd, 10:17 a.m. The victim was physically assaulted and forcibly robbed of cash. The suspects fled the area and a report was taken. The victim was unable to get a description of the suspects and there was no report of injury.


13-199615, Suspicious Circumstance, 2400 block of Northgate Blvd, 1:30 a.m. After a physical altercation had occurred at an area restaurant, gunfire was reportedly fired from a vehicle in the area. Officers canvased the area and were unable to locate any victim or evidence of a shooting. A report was taken documenting this incident. July 26 (incidents are from shifts starting July 25) 13-197986, Traffic Control, Northgate Blvd / Hwy 160 Eb, 4:52 p.m. Officers assisted with traffic control during a large grass fire which took several hours to contain. July 25 (incidents are from shifts starting July 24) 13-197141, Traffic Stop, Azevedo Dr / W El Camino Ave, 9:21 p.m. Officers conducted a probation search of a juvenile during a traffic stop. The search revealed a loaded handgun on the juvenile’s person. While waiting for additional units, the juvenile rear passenger advised officers that he too had a loaded gun in his possession. Both juveniles were arrested for numerous gun-violations without incident.


13-197409, Burglary, 3200 block of Northgate Blvd, 3:30 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm and discovered a closed business had signs of forced entry. The area was searched for the suspects with negative results. July 24 (incidents are from shifts starting July 23) 13-195848, Suspicious Subject, 3800 block of Rosin Ct, 3:11 p.m. Officers responded to a report of two suspicious persons. Officers located the male and female subjects along with a stolen trailer on scene. Further investigation revealed the male was in possession of a handgun. Dennis Carter, 48, was booked for possession of stolen property and multiple firearm violations to include possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.


13-196048, Subject Stop, Northgate Blvd/Garden Highway, 6:30 p.m. An officer was on routine patrol during which she contacted multiple subjects due to recent community complaints in the area. One of the individuals was taken into custody for public intoxication and multiple outstanding arrest warrants. During the arrest the suspect became combative and a brief struggle with officers ensued. The subject was later found to be in possession of narcotics and subsequently arrested with the additional drug charge. July 23 (incidents are from shifts starting July 22) 13-194499, Domestic Violence, 100 block of Dragonfly Cir, 7:43 a.m. Officers did a welfare check on a female who notified family that she was in danger. Officers contacted the victim female and her boyfriend. The boyfriend was also contacted and arrested for his outstanding warrant.


13-194660, Water Main Break, Arena/Truxel, 11:42 a.m. A water main was punctured during drilling. No significant impact on street traffic at this time. Reverse 911 message of the occurrence was sent out to affected areas.


13-194707, Robbery, Mendel/Rudger, 12:37 p.m. Dispatch received a report of a robbery. The victim met the suspect at an agreed upon spot to buy marijuana. The victim was then robbed at gunpoint by the suspect.


13-195032, Subject Stop, Pebblewood/Rockybend, 5:52 p.m. Officers contacted a subject and found him to be a parolee-at-large. Raymond Torrence, 47, was booked into county jail.


13-195280, Robbery, 2300 block of Northgate, 10:05 p.m. The victim was with a friend and was approached by five subjects ranging in ages between 15-21. The suspects then asked the victim a question then stole his bike. July 22 (incidents are from shifts starting July 21 13-194364, Collision, 600 block of West El Camino, 1:47 a.m. Officers responded to call of a vehicle into a house collision. Suspect vehicle left the roadway and went into the front yard but did not strike the home. Suspect vehicle described as a small SUV black and gray in color with severe front end damage. Last seen driving away westbound W El Camino.


13-194438, Burglary, 4200 block of Truxel, 4:32 a.m. A delivery person arrived at a business and found the front doors shattered. Unknown what was taken and no suspects were found. July 21 (incidents are from shifts starting July 20) 13-192756, Vehicle Theft, 3700 block of Northgate Blvd., 1:47 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a theft. Officers were provided information of the known suspects and suspect vehicle. The vehicle plate that was reported came back to a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was found and the three suspects were detained and later arrested. Investigation led the discovery of stolen property, numerous stolen property indicating identity theft and an air soft gun. Investigation is in progress. July 20 (incidents are from shifts starting July 19) 13-191984, Traffic Stop, 2700 block of Stonecreek Dr, 6:41 p.m. Officers attested one subject who attempted to give a false name to avoid arrest. Stephanie Buggs, 30, was eventually identified and found to have an arrest warrant, while being contacted during a traffic stop. Buggs was booked without incident for violation of her probation, giving a false name, and her active warrant.


13-192329, Disturbance, 3400 block of Hornsea Way, 12:38 a.m. Officers responded to reports of a loud house party in the area. Officers located the residence causing the disturbance and contacted the homeowners. The owners subsequently agreed to shut down the party.


13-192446, Home Invasion, 1500 block of Waterwheel Dr, 2:52 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a home invasion robbery. Multiple armed suspects reportedly entered into the victim’s residence. The suspects demanded the victim’s property at gun point and ransacked the victims’ home. This investigation is ongoing. July 19 (incidents are from shifts starting July 18) 13-191332, Fire, 1900 Bannon Creek, 1:10 a.m. Officers responded, with the Sacramento Fire Department, regarding the sound of a loud bang. A small grass fire, which was quickly extinguished, was located in the area where the noise was reported. No witnesses were able to be located and no in injuries were reported. July 18 (incidents are for shifts starting July 17) 13-189618, Burglary, 2800 block of Chateau Montelena Way, 1:19 p.m. Units responded to the above address regarding a residential burglary. The unknown suspect entered the open garage door and stole a computer. A canvas was conducted with negative results.


13-189874, Domestic Violence, 100 block of American River Bike Trail, 5:55 p.m. Units responded regarding a stabbing. It was found that the victim was assaulted by his ex-girlfriend. The victim was transported via fire to UCD with a stab wound to his upper body. The known suspect fled prior to police arrival.


13-190265, Theft, 2900 block of Weald Way, 2:27 a.m. A neighbor reported that two subjects were stealing the tires off of a truck. Officers arrived and contacted the suspects driving out of the area with the stolen tires. Both suspects were arrested for the theft. July 17 13-188990, Welfare Check, 2000 block of Club Center Dr, 6:58 p.m. A man’s who requires a companion dog called into police. He said that his companion service dog was startled and ran away for him in the area of Sycamore Park. Police and fire personnel responded and assisted in checking the area. The dog is a pure white 4 month old German Shepard. July 16 (incidents are from shifts starting July 15) 13-187618, Domestic Violence, Arena Blvd / Stemmler Dr, 11:16 a.m. Officers responded to a physical altercation between the occupants of a vehicle. Responding officers located the vehicle and contacted a female victim and her boyfriend. The male half was eventually arrested for domestic violence stemming from the incident. July 15 (incidents are from shifts starting July 14) 13-187255, Burglary, 200 block of Chango Cir, 10:53 p.m. The property owners of above location were checking on the vacant residence and were greeting by a subject at the door. The subject provided them with a lease agreement. PD responded and mediated the incident.


13-187345, Burglary, 4700 block of Natomas Blvd, 1:38 a.m. Security alerted the police department regarding a burglary. Two subjects broke into the store, and stole jewelry from the jewelry counter. The subjects then fled the store on foot. Responded officers saw two vehicles speeding off from the neighborhood close to the business. An officer saw the driver of one of the vehicles stop his car and fled on foot into an apartment complex. The driver ultimately surrendered and was arrested for possession of stolen property, fleeing and violation of probation. Investigation is ongoing.


13-187417, Stolen Vehicle, Northgate/Rosin, 4:32 a.m. Officers located a stolen vehicle, contacted the driver and ultimately arrested him for possession of the vehicle. Luis Reyna, 30, was booked into county jail. July 14 July 13 (incidents are from shifts starting July 12) 13-184511, Burglary, 1500 block of Danbrook Dr, 10:39 a.m. A couple hear someone ring their doorbell multiple times then a few minutes later heard someone downstairs. One victim went to investigate and found that nobody was inside, but the suspects had tried to break into the back door of the house. The victim chased the suspects off. One suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 20, 5’10″, 190 pounds, dark beanie, white shirt and jeans. The second suspect was described as a black male adult, 20-25 years old, 5’6″, 180 pounds. The third suspect was described as a Hispanic or Black female in her 20s, 5’4″, 120 pounds. They all fled in a newer small red car.


13-184530, Auto Burglary, 2100 block of River Plaza Dr, 10:52 a.m. An unknown person broke into a vehicle and stole a gun. CSI responded to process the car for prints.


13-184597, Assault, 2100 block of Zurlo Way, 11:57 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of domestic violence. The victim and her child were inside a vehicle when the child’s father pulled up along side of her. The father broke the window of the car and took the child. An argument ensued and the suspect, while holding the 2-year-old assaulted the victim. A friend of the victim tried to intervene when the suspect followed the victim to her residence, kicked in the door and then confronted her again. The friend was also assaulted by the suspect. Police arrived, detained the suspect and investigated what had transpired. Keiante Fox, 22, was arrested and booked on domestic violence, child endangerment, burglary, destruction of wireless devise, and vandalism. There were no reported injuries to the child.


13-184706, Robbery, 4800 block of Kokomo Dr, 2:01 p.m. A victim called into police stating that her ex-boyfriend had allowed four females into her apartment to fight her. The call then turned into a robbery when one of the girls during the fight stole the victim’s cell phone. Officers investigated and ultimately arrested the ex-boyfriend, Robert Isaacs, 21, for an outstanding warrant. Jaleah Farr, 21, was also contacted and found to be one of the females involved in the robbery and she was arrested for robbery and an outstanding warrant. In further investigation, a 17-year-old female suspect was contacted and identified as the female that took the phone during the robbery and was arrested for the robbery. Also during a probation search related to this incident Alfonso Johnson, 42, was contacted and taken into custody for violation of probation and possession of stolen property unrelated to the robbery being investigated. July 12 (incidents are from shifts starting July 11) 100goldenlandct 13-183334, Medical Aid, 3400 block of Maplegrove Way, 8:05 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a report of an apparent suicide. Nothing suspicious was reported.


13-184252, Vandalism, 100 block of Goldenland Ct., 1:11 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm call and found multiple windows broken. It did not appear that entry was made inside the business. July 11 July 10 (incidents are from shifts starting July 9) 13-181647, Sex Assault Report, 2700 block of Mendel Way, 11:56 a.m. Officers responded to a report of two victims in the same family that were inappropriately touched by a known suspect. Investigation is ongoing.


13-182104, Domestic Violence, 4500 block of Natomas Central Drive, 9:48 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an assault. The suspect is the victim’s ex-boyfriend. The suspect arrived at the victim’s apartment and assaulted her. At one point he took her outside toward his vehicle. The victim struggled with the suspect. He fled when police were called. Officers searched for the suspect and found him later in the shift and arrested him. Ivy Lee Jones, 26, was arrested for kidnaping, violation of parole, domestic battery, burglary, and false imprisonment. July 9 July 8 (incidents are from shifts starting July 7) 13-179167, Stolen Vehicle, 1500 block of Waterwheel Drive, 6:09 p.m. Officers were in the area on an unrelated call when they were hailed by a citizen advising that two subjects ran out of a vehicle near their location as officers approached. The officers ran the plate of the car to discover that the vehicle was stolen. Units responded to the area where one officer eventually located the two suspects attempting to walk out of the area. Both subjects were arrested.


13-179983, Disturbance, E Commerce Way/Del Paso Rd, 3:50 p.m. Approximately 50 cars began to congregate in a parking lot. Complaints were received of vehicles driving recklessly in the parking lot. Officers responded to the area and requested additional units due to the large crowd. AIR1 and ground units arrived on scene to assist with the crowd.


13-179986, Attempt Pick-Up, 2700 block of Bridgeford Dr, 3:52 p.m. Jennifer Guzman, 37, was contacted and arrested for her outstanding warrants. She was booked into county jail without incident. July 7 (incidents are from shifts starting July 6) 13-179064, Robbery, 4600 block of Blackrock Dr, 4:16 p.m. The victim agreed to meet the suspect at an apartment complex to complete the sale of a cell phone she had listed on the internet. When the suspect saw the phone, he took it from her as he physically pushed her away. The suspect fled on foot. Officers checked the area was checked and the suspect was not found. The suspect was described as a black male adult with orange tinted hair.


13-179705, Burglary, 3200 block of Arena Blvd, 5 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a broken glass door at a business. Officers arrived and believed the business to be burglarized. Unknown what was taken. July 6 (incidents are from shifts starting July 5) 13-177881, Outside Agency Assist, 800 block of San Juan Rd, 12:34 p.m. Officers assisted with an attempt pickup of a wanted subject from an outside jurisdiction. The subject was believed to possibly be armed and inside a residence in the area. SWAT and HNT were called to assist. Officers maintained a perimeter while several attempts were made to have the suspect peacefully surrender. The subject eventually willingly came out of the home and was safely taken into custody without incident. The suspect was released to the custody of the outside agency.


13-178072, Stolen Vehicle, 2300 block of Northgate Blvd, 3:45 p.m. Matthew Wayt, 24, was taken into custody for vehicle theft after officers located him in possession of a car he was believed to have recently taken. An outside agency helicopter initially located the vehicle and directed officers to the car. The vehicle was released to the victim, and Wayt was booked without incident. July 5 (incidents are from shifts starting July 4) 13-176277, Vandalism, 2300 block of Sandcastle Way, 8:38 a.m. A realtor was arriving at a vacant house for sale when multiple subjects fled from the home. Forced entry was observed and a vandalism report was taken.


13-176588, Deceased Subject, 2900 block of Truxel Rd, 4:43 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a dead body. Fire advised they were on scene with a deceased subject and the coroner arrived to take over the death investigation. Nothing suspicious was immediately observed and the cause of death is pending. July 4 (incidents are from shifts starting July 3) 13-176122, Vandalism, 3300 block of Fong Ranch Rd, 1:25 a.m. Security in the area observed a two juvenile subjects spray graffiti vandalism on the side of a storage container. Officers quickly arrived by were unable to locate the two subjects. July 3 (incidents are from shifts starting July 2) 13-174616, Suspicious Death, Truxel Rd/Terrcina Dr, 5:42 p.m. The fire department notified police of a male in his 20s that was found in the water drainage collection pond near the 4500 block of Truxel Road. The victim’s family initially came upon the unresponsive subject at which time rescue personnel were summoned to the scene. Immediate efforts were taken by the family to pull the man to shore. The fire department transported the victim to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Family had come to the pond to visit with the victim who was believed to be fishing with a friend. The victim’s friend was not on scene when the man was discovered by family; however, detectives have since spoken to the subject and obtained his statement. At this time there are no obvious signs of traumatic injuries to the victim and detectives are investigating this incident as a suspicious death. The victim’s cause of death could not immediately be determined pending the results of the coroner’s investigation. Crime Scene Investigators were also called to the scene to assist.


13-174947, Robbery, 800 Block of San Juan Rd, 12:02 a.m. The victim had just parked her vehicle near her residence and was walking to her apartment. Suddenly, a subject came up to her from behind and displayed a handgun, demanding her purse. The suspect fled with the victim’s purse and officers quickly responded to the scene. A search of the area for the suspect was negative and no injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a male Black adult approximately 6’1” to 6’2” in height. July 2 (incidents are from shifts starting July 1) 13-173804, Outside Agency Assist, 3500 block of Truxel Rd, 8:59 p.m. Officers were hailed regarding a subject reporting he had knowledge of a homicide in a neighboring jurisdiction. Officers were directed, by the subject, to a storage facility in the county of Sacramento. Officers quickly responded as they advised the Sacramento County Sheriff’s office and the fire department who also raced to the possible scene. Upon arrival a deceased subject was located and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s office took over the homicide investigation. 13-174008, Robbery, 1500 block of W El Camino Ave, 1:18 a.m. Officers were hailed by the victim of a robbery that had just occurred. The victim was with the known suspect in a vehicle when he was robbed at gunpoint. No injuries were reported and cash was taken. The area was checked for the suspect’s vehicle which was described as a white full size van. July 1 (incidents are from shifts starting June 30) 13-172409, Vandalism, 3300 block of Zenobia Way, 11:33 a.m. The residences returned home to find their house had been vandalized. It is unknown why the damaged was caused and nothing appeared to be taken from the home. Officers responded and a report was taken.


13-172608, Assault, Dorine Way / Erin Dr, 4:10 p.m. The male adult victim and suspect are known to each other. During an altercation, the suspect swung a blunt object, striking the victim causing minor non-life treating injuries. The victim was treated on the scene by the fire department. The suspect left the scene prior to officers’ arrival and the investigation is ongoing.


13-172950, Traffic Stop, 2200 block of Northgate Blvd, 10:47 p.m. Two subjects were arrested after officers contacted a wanted person driving a vehicle in the area. The driver, David Phelan, 36, was contacted and taken into custody for his active arrest warrant. A passenger of the vehicle was also arrested after narcotics were located on his person. June 30 (incidents are from shifts starting June 29) 13-171357, Suspicious Circumstances, 2200 block of Del Paso Rd, 10:44 a.m. Officers responded to a report of possible fraud. An elderly customer arrived at a bank, with another man, trying to withdraw cash from the elderly man’s account. The bank manager became suspicious and called the police. The suspect and the elderly man left the bank prior to officers’ arrival. Officers followed up by responding to the customer’s home and it appeared the elderly customer was a possible victim of fraud. A report was generated and this investigation is ongoing.


13-171829, Suspicious Circumstances, 4850 block of Natomas Blvd, 9:13 p.m. Officers responded to a report of the sounds of multiple gunshots fired in the area. Witnesses also saw multiple subjects running just after the sounds were heard. Upon arrival officers searched the area but were unable to locate any evidence or victims of a shooting.


13-172063, Robbery, Northgate Blvd / Wisconsin Ave, 11:55 p.m. Officers responded to above area regarding a report that a subject had her purse stolen. The female victim agreed to meet with an unknown male subject who assaulted her and took her purse. The victim stated she did not require medical aid and a report was taken. June 29 (incidents are from shifts starting June 28) 13-170151, Suspicious Person, 3700 block of Del Paso Rd, 8:24 a.m. Officers responded to the area on a report of an armed subject. A witness reported seeing a subject in the area pointing a rifle. A nearby school was placed on lockdown while the area was being searched. Additional witnesses reported seeing a man riding a mountain bike and carrying a rifle. Officers checked the area extensively and were unable to locate anybody matching the descriptions given by the witnesses. The subject was described as a male White in his 60s, possibly riding a purple bicycle.


13-170332, Home Invasion, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 12:17 p.m. A subject forced his way into a residence in an attempt to contact his girlfriend who was reportedly inside asleep. The suspect took property from inside the home and fled when the resident of the home, who was also inside at the time, called the police.


13-170714, DUI, Orchard Ln / Garden Hwy, 6:48 p.m. Officers responded to the area regarding reports of a vehicle collision. Upon arrival a black full size SUV was observed to have left the roadway gone down an embankment. The vehicle also struck and damaged a wooden fence during the collision. The driver, Severiano Mendoza, 23, was located, with the assistance of an outside agency helicopter, walking in the area. Mendoza had no visible injuries or complaints-of-pain and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI.


13-171138, Pursuit, Northgate Blvd / W El Camino Ave, 2:02 a.m. Officers responding to a disturbance call in the area. Two suspicious subjects were observed leaving the area in a vehicle upon officers’ arrival. A traffic stop was initiated at which time the vehicle fled from officers. A pursuit ensued and the vehicle fled from officers at an extremely high rate of speed. Officers lost sight of the car which was located by officers a short while later parked and unoccupied. A loaded handgun magazine was located inside the vehicle which was towed and this investigation in ongoing. June 28 (incidents are from shifts starting June 27) 13-169201, Resisting Arrest, 3400 block of Fong Ranch Rd, 9:33 a.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a subject riding a reportedly stolen bicycle who was believed to have just committed a burglary. Witnesses provided responding officers with updates as to the suspect’s location as he appeared to be fleeing the area. At one point the suspect ran through an unrelated residence in the 3600 block of Cattle Drive and officers were later advised he was in Chuckwagon Park. Officers attempted to detain the subject who initially complied but then physically resisted and broke away from officers grasp. A CED was deployed to safely take the suspect into custody who was cleared for incarceration at an area hospital. Edmond Hughes, 18, was booked for resisting arrest and the investigation in ongoing regarding the reported theft incident.


13-169477, Burglary, 100 block of Allard Ct, 2:50 p.m. Officers responded for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival forced entry into the home was observed and items from inside the residence were taken. CSI also responded to assist with this ongoing investigation. June 27 (incidents are from shifts starting June 26) 13-168506, Robbery, 3600 block of Truxel Road, 3:58 p.m. Units responded to a business regarding a theft. A manager confronted the two subjects and asked them to leave. While the subjects left, one assaulted the manager before running to his vehicle with stolen merchandise. 13-168588, Suspicious-Person, 2600 block of Stonecreek Drive, 5:02 p.m. Officers responded to an apartment complex regarding a subject that was trespassing. The female was contacted and arrested for an outstanding warrant. June 26 June 25 (incidents are from shifts starting June 24) 13-166175, Robbery, 3200 block of Azevedo Dr, 8:34 a.m. Victim was home with his two children when someone knocked on his door. The victim went to lookout the peephole and the suspect then kicked the front door. The victim later went outside to check the damage and was approached by the suspect. The victim fled back inside and the suspect again began to kick the door until a neighbor interrupted. The suspect fled. Officers arrived and investigated the incident. The suspect was later identified and found in a nearby family member’s apartment. Reginald McOwens, 43, was arrested for attempt burglary.


13-166761, Burglary, 5200 block of Noyack Way, 7:57 p.m. Residents were home when their alarm went off. They heard noises downstairs and called 911. Officers arrived on scene and could not see any attempted entry points. The area was checked and they were unable to locate anyone.


13-166797, Burglary, 100 block of Dulcibbella Pl, 8:44 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a burglary. The homeowner responded to an alarm call and found that he was burglarized. The unknown subject entered through a window and stole electronic equipment and jewelry.


13-166826, Medical Aid, 1800 block of Acari Ave, 9:43 p.m. A family member called into dispatch advising that medical aid was needed for a self inflicted injury. Officers arrived on scene and found that the female subject was not in need of medical attention. The woman however was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.


13-166793, Burglary, 5200 block of Moonlit Bay Way, 8:39 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary. An unknown subject entered the residence and stole a laptop. June 24 (incidents are from shifts starting June 23) 13-165683, Assault, 1400 block of Brewerton Dr., 5:51 p.m. The victim and suspect are known to each other and got into an argument. During the argument the suspect got into her car and deliberately backed toward the victim in an attempted to hit her with the vehicle. Heather Meints, 29, was contacted and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.


13-165591, Robbery, Azevedo/ Bannon Creek, 4:08 p.m. A juvenile victim was sitting at a bus stop bench with two suspects. One asked to use the victim’s phone and while the first subject was using the phone the second suspect assaulted the victim. They both fled with the property. Both suspects were described as black male juveniles, 5’8”, average build wearing sweatshirts.


13-165980, Missing Person, 3300 block of Smoketree, 11:45 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing 2 ½ year old. Another call came in shortly after stating they located a 2 ½ year old wandering in the apartment complex. Event was documented and the child was unharmed. June 23 (incidents are from shifts starting June 2) 13-164553, Pursuit, Northgate/Garden Hwy, 4:31 p.m. Officers were hailed about a subject stealing a vehicle. The officers then saw the vehicle leaving the parking lot and the officers caught up to the vehicle and attempted to stop it. A short pursuit ensued, but was terminated for public safety. The suspect soon after crashed into a set of RT light rail crossing arms then fled on foot. Jason Wright,34, was caught, arrested for the stolen vehicle and fleeing officers and was booked into county jail.


13-165009, Attempted Burglary, 2000 block of Club Center Drive, 11:25 p.m. Units responded to a ringing alarm and found a door shattered. The building was searched with negative results. It was found that a suspect threw a rock at the glass door and kicked it in when the audible alarm activated and scared him off.


13-165258, Shooting, 3100 block of Ashley Way, 3:48 a.m. Officers responded to multiple reports of shots being fired. Officers found evidence of a shooting, but no subjects involved were found June 22 (incidents are from shifts starting June 21) 13-163714, Domestic Violence, 3500 block of Summer Park Dr, 8:12 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence in the area. The victim’s boyfriend assaulted her causing visible injuries. The suspect had fled the scene by was later located inside a family member’s residence. Ramon Williams, 21, was taken into custody for domestic violence. June 21 (incidents are from shifts starting June 20) 13-162022, Outside Agency Assist, 3300 block of Smoke Tree Dr, 7:50 a.m. Officers responded to the area for the purpose of attempting to locate a suspect for an outside agency. The subject was located and detained without incident. Custody of the suspect was transferred to the allied agency.


13-162790, Robbery, 4700 block of Natomas Blvd, 9:17 p.m. Units responded to a restaurant in the area regarding a report of a robbery. Employees were cleaning up just after the restaurant had closed when an adult male suspect entered an unlocked door and demanded money at gunpoint. The employee who was approached by the suspect complied and the robber left after receiving money. No injuries were reported and the suspect was described as a heavyset male White adult approximately 6 feet tall.


13-162912, Traffic Stop, W El Camino Ave / Azevedo Dr, 11:42 p.m. After a short vehicle pursuit the driver of the vehicle pulled over and surrendered to police. Narcotics were located during a search of the suspect’s person. Lonnell Battiste, 56, was booked for evading, possession of narcotics and violation of his probation. June 20 (incidents are from shifts starting June 19) 13-161436, Burglary, 2400 block of Pony Express Dr., 3:38 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an unknown suspect that just exited a residence with stolen items. Another neighbor chased the suspect. Officers arrived, but were unable to locate the suspect. Stolen in the burglary were electronics. The entry was an unsecured back door. The property was recovered by the witness.


13-161654, Burglary, 100 block of Pasture Court, 7:07 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary. An unknown subject entered the home and stole jewelry. A witness told police that an unknown subject knocked on their door asking a question and then saw the same suspect leaving the area approximately 30 minutes later with unknown items inside his pockets.


13-161827, Missing Person, 1900 block of San Juan Rd., 11:09 p.m. Officers responded to take a missing person report of a 16-year-old female that was last seen a couple hours before.


13-161933, Outside Agency Assistance, I-5/Arena, 1:42 a.m. Officers assisted CHP with a collision on I-5. June 19 (incidents are from shifts starting June 18) 13-160170, Missing Person, 2800 block Frigatebird Dr, 11:24 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing 9-year-old male. Officers followed up with several possible locations and the MP was eventually located by officers and reunited with his family.


13-160596, Suspicious Circumstances, 2780 Azevedo Dr, 6:25 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a verbal altercation. While at the park with her dog an argument ensued between the complainant and another community member. During the argument an exchange of words regarding the complainant’s sexual orientation were made. A report was generated documenting the circumstances of this incident.


13-160951, Burglary, 4800 block of Kokomo Dr, 3:11 a.m. Officers responded to a report of several bike lockers that had been forced open in the area. One bike was found partially removed from a locker and several more lockers appeared to be damaged and their contents removed. A report was generated and officers are still attempted to locate possible victim’s to this incident.


13-160808, Domestic Disturbance, 800 block of El Camino Ave, 10:01 p.m. Officers were originally called to the area regarding a domestic disturbance involving a husband and his wife. The male half was reportedly seen in the area by security officers armed with a handgun. Responding officers quickly arrived and the suspect’s wife had already left the area. A welfare check was eventually able to be completed over the phone with the female subject. Officers followed up with contacting the male half and a handgun and narcotics were located inside of his apartment. Juan Correa, 34, was taken into custody for possession of a concealed firearm, brandishing and narcotics possession. June 18 (incidents are from shifts starting June 16) 13-159459, Burglary, 100 block of Bewicks Circle, 4:36 p.m. An unknown subject broke into a residence and stole electronics. June 17 (incidents are from shifts starting June 16) 13-158153, Missing Person, 1600 block of Salizar Way, 8:26 a.m. A 55-year-old left home after an argument with a family member on Friday and has not returned. The family reported him missing.


13-158235, Medial Aid, 2300 block of Oak Harbour, 11:33 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a 16-month-old toddler that fell. The toddler walked into the living room while the mother was in the kitchen. The toddler then climbed onto a couch and leaned against a screen that gave way on an open window and fell. The toddler sustained minor injury, but was transported to the hospital as a precaution.


13-158881, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, Pebblestone/Truxel, 2:38 a.m. Officers contacted three subjects that were in a parked vehicle. A gun was located inside the car. John Gonzales, 19, was arrested for possession of the weapon. June 16 (incidents are from shifts starting June 15) 13-157635, Traffic Stop, Truxel/Arena Blvd., 7:43 p.m. Officers stopped a vehicle and found the driver to be arrested for DUI. Matthew Arizaga, 25, was booked into county jail. The female passenger was arrested and booked into county jail for possession of controlled substance and false impersonation.


13-157841, Burglary, 500 block of Lyman Circle, 10:46 p.m. A neighbor called into police about a noise at a vacant house, looked out and saw a “for sale” sign was removed, front door was open and two subjects were inside. Paladin security arrived and detained one subject as the other ran. Officers arrived and took custody of the subject the security officers detained. It was found that the front door had been kicked in and a party was to take place at the vacant home. The 17-year-old male, who was to DJ the party was arrested and booked into juvenile hall for burglary and conspiracy. June 15 (incidents are from shifts starting June 14) 13-156050, Vehicle Accident, E Commerce Way / Arena Blvd, 8:16 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle traffic collision where one of the parties had to be extricated by the fire department. A vehicle traveling southbound on East Commerce Way collided with a sport utility vehicle traveling westbound Arena Blvd. The driver of the southbound vehicle was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver in the vehicle traveling westbound was also transported to an area hospital, to be treated for complaint of pain injuries.


13-156295, Robbery, 3600 block of Northgate Blvd, 1:54 p.m. Loss prevention officers confronted two females attempting to steal merchandise from a store. A third subject associated with the female suspects produced a knife and told security to leave them alone. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspects at this time. Further follow up to be done and this is an ongoing investigation.


13-156462, 971, 3120 Northgate Blvd, 4:31 p.m. Officers contacted a suspicious occupied vehicle in the area and a probation search of the car was done. Narcotics were located and driver Elaina Gueyger, 19, was taken into custody for possession charges. A back passenger, Robert Chavez, 46, was booked for his outstanding violation of probation warrant.


13-156707, Suspicious Person, 3300 block of N Park Dr, 9:01 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject acting suspicious and irrational. Upon arrival officers located and made contact with the subject who spun and struck both officers in the face just prior to fleeing on foot. The officers gave chase to the violent suspect and deployed their CED which was ineffective. When the officers caught up to the suspect he continued to resist. Deyvon Scott, 19, was eventually able to be detained and was booked for multiple charges to include assault on an officer and resisting arrest.


13-157024, Domestic Violence, 2100 block of Sandcastle Way, 1:15 a.m. Officers responded to the area in an attempt to locate a subject wanted for domestic violence charges. Upon arrival the suspect was again in the act of assaulting his wife and taken into custody. Kyacey Uscola, 31, was booked into the Sacramento County Jail for multiple charges to include domestic violence, child endangerment and false imprisonment.


13-157127, Shooting, 2700 block of Del Paso Rd, 0406, The passenger of a vehicle recklessly discharged a gun into the air as the car exited a fast food restaurant drive through. There was no indication of an altercation or intended assault and it is unknown what provoked the incident. The suspect vehicle left the area and this investigation is ongoing. June 14 (incidents are from shifts starting June 13) 13-155058, Suspicious Circumstances, 4500 block Gateway Park Blvd, 8:25 a.m. A 14-year-old female was walking eastbound on the south side of Del Paso Rd when she saw a dark red 4 door American made sedan driving the opposite direction. The driver and sole occupant reportedly attempted to make verbal contact with her as he was driving and the female fled the area on foot. The police were called and transported the girl back to her school and advised school staff of the incident. The driver of the vehicle was described as a male Black in his 30s.


13-155239, Assault, 2800 block of Bridgeford Dr, 12:33 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an assault. Two female subjects reportedly were involved in a physical fight when one of the subjects produced a knife and cut the subject she was fighting with in the face. The suspect is the victim’s current boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. The victim required medical treatment at an area hospital for her injury. Eileen Aguilar, 27, was later located and arrested for mayhem, felony vandalism, and assault with a deadly weapon. Aguilar was booked without further incident.


13-155251, Robbery, 1500 block of W El Camino Ave, 12:52 p.m. Two suspects entered into a store and began concealing alcohol in a canvass bag. The suspects were confronted by security after they left the store without paying. One of the suspects lifted his shirt and brandished a firearm. Both the suspects fled the area on foot and were described as being male Black in their 30s. No injuries were reported.


13-155333, Burglary, 3300 block of Duckhorn Dr, 2:26 p.m. Officers responded to two separate burglaries that appeared to be related. The burglaries happened at about he same time and forced entry was observed at both locations. Property and cash were taken during the incidents. June 13 (incidents are from shifts starting June 12) 13-154855, Subject Stop, Truxel Rd / W El Camino Ave, 11:09 p.m. Officers conducted a bicycle stop in the area and Jackson Walker, 43, was taken into custody for possession of narcotics. June 12 (incidents are from shifts starting June 11) 13-153376, Suspicious Circumstance, 100 block of Cashman Cir, 1:34 p.m. A resident was home with her child when a subject came to the door then broke in. She confronted the irrational subject and told him to leave, but he refused. He ultimately walked outside and met security and then police. Troy Gardner, 34, was booked into jail for vandalism and destruction of property.


13-153429, Robbery, Del Paso Rd/Gateway Park Blvd, 1:30 p.m. A victim was walking when a subject pushed him down from behind and assaulted him. The suspect forcibly took the victim’s cell phone and fled. Officers arrived, investigated, contacted a vital witness then located and arrested 18-year-old Deangelo Trujillo for robbery. June 11 June 10 June 9 (incidents are from shifts starting June 8) 13-150222, Attempt Robbery, 2000 block of Natomas Crossing Dr, 9:31 a.m. A suspect wearing a white jersey with the number “81”on it approached a teller at the Schools Credit Union and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller refused and the suspect fled on foot. Witnesses observed the suspect flee the scene in a light colored 2000s model Chevrolet Aveo. Suspect is described as a male White 35-40 years old.20130608-174943.jpg


13-150363, Robbery, 3800 block of Truxel Rd, 12:50 p.m. The same suspect described in an earlier attempted robbery (13-150222) entered a Chase Bank on Truxel Road and handed the teller a demand note. The teller complied and the suspect fled with cash. The suspect was wearing the same jersey described in the attempted robbery listed above. Suspect is described as a male White 35-40 years old.


13-150187, Burglary, 4200 block of Truxel Rd, 8:23 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary of a closed business. The suspect(s) forced entry into the front window and stole merchandise and cash from inside the store. A report was taken and this investigation is ongoing.


13-150713, Barricaded Subject, 1500 block of Waterwheel Dr, 8:16 p.m. The suspect, armed with a knife, forced his way into a neighboring apartment and threatened the resident with a knife. The suspect then fled back into his own apartment where he refused to comply with officers commands to surrender. A SWAT and HNT call out was done and the suspect eventually gave up and came out of his apartment without further incident. June 8 (incidents are from shifts starting June 7) 13-149127, Disturbance, 5300 Block of Calabria Way, 10:26 a.m. Officers responded to a disturbance involving two roommates who are in the process of moving away from each other. One of the roommates indicated the other pulled a gun on him during a physical altercation. Officers contacted the involved parties and determined that the roommate did in fact own a gun. The gun was voluntarily surrendered and booked for safekeeping.


13-149801, Domestic Disturbance, 4500 block of Natomas Central Dr, 10:23 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. The male half had already left the scene with the couple’s 11 year old son and was reported to possibly be armed with a gun and distraught. While the officers were still on scene the husband drove by and was quickly and safely detained during a vehicle stop. No gun was located and the subject was taken to the hospital to be treated. No physical injuries were reported as a result of this incident.


13-149888, Missing Person, 1900 block of San Juan Rd, 11:29 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a 17-year-old runaway. A report was taken and the subject was entered into the system.


13-150111, Burglary, 3200 block of Truxel Rd, 4:29 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary of a closed business. The suspect(s) forced entry in a window and officers were unable to determine at the time if anything was taken. A report was generated pending contact with a responsible party. June 7 (incidents are from shifts starting June 6) 13-148941, Burglary , 4500 block of Truxel Rd, 4:30 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle into a building. Upon arrival it was discovered that a truck was used to force entry into a closed business for the purpose of a burglary. The suspects removed a safe from the business and placed it in the back of the pickup truck prior to fleeing the scene. The suspects are described as three male adults unknown race.


13-148816, Medical Aid, 4500 block of Truxel Rd, 11:43 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a distraught subject that was said to be armed with a gun. The subject came out of the home and contacted responding officers who transported the subject to the hospital. Two firearms were recovered for safekeeping. June 6 (incidents are from shifts starting June 5) 13-147417, Robbery, 1500 block of W. El Camino Ave, 3:55 p.m. Jeremy Humphries, 27, and Anthony Florentine-Pere, 28, were taken into custody for robbery after physically fighting with a security guard. Security attempted to detain the two subjects who left a restaurant without paying. Initially, Humphries was able to be detained by security and Florentine-Pere took off running. Soon after, Florentine-Pere turned around and ran back towards the security guard, pushing him off of Suspect Humphries. A physical altercation continued between the security guard and Humphries who was able to be detained and ultimately arrested by responding officers. Prior to officer’s arrival bystanders came to the aid of the security guard and assisted with also detaining Florentine-pere until officers arrived. Both suspects were taken into custody and booked for robbery.


13-147502, Dead Body, 1000 block of Garden Highway, 5:32 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a dead body that was located in the Sacramento River. Sac Metro DART responded and recovered the body. Nothing suspicious was observed and the coroner took over the death investigation.


13-147647, Robbery, 2700 block of Northgate Blvd, 8:53 p.m. Officers responded to the above location regarding a robbery at gun-point. A suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun and directed the employee to the register. The suspect then fled with the stolen cash. The suspect was described as a black male 19-20 years-old, 5’8”, 160 pounds, with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.


13-147685, Disturbance, 5900 block of Country Manor Place, 9:49 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of an on-going disturbance between neighbors.


13-147888, Robbery, Del Paso/Truxel, 9:21 p.m. A victim was walking and was approached by an armed suspect and was assaulted from behind. The suspect then demanded all of the victim’s property. The suspect then ran to a blue 4-door vehicle that was occupied by at least on other subject. The victim sustained minor injury from the hit over the head. The suspect was described as a black man in his 20s wearing a hat. June 5 (incidents are from shifts starting June 4) 13-146662, Assault, 1700 block of River City Way, 7:59 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a fight between roommates. When officers arrived one of the intoxicated subjects assaulted one officer by pushing and pulling at the officer ripping the badge off his uniform. One officer was injured in taking the suspect into custody. Roseanna Echeverria, 53, was arrested and booked into county jail for battery against a peace officer. June 4 June 3 (incidents are from shifts starting June 2) 13-144210, Carjacking, 2700 block of Orchard Lane, 7:02 a.m. A victim stopped at a gas station and was approached by a subject that engaged her in conversation. When the victim came back to the car to pump her gas, she saw the suspect entering the vehicle. She confronted the suspect and he threatened her before driving off with her vehicle. The victim later saw the suspect at a local restaurant. Officers arrived and found the suspect close by. The 46-year-old male suspect was arrested and booked into county jail. The vehicle was not recovered and an investigation is still in progress.


13-144734, Theft, 3200 block of Arena Blvd., 7:54 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a subject that took two cans of cleaner form a store and was spraying himself with it. Witnesses began calling into dispatch about a suspicious subject dancing in the field between Duckhorn Drive and I-80. Officers arrived and the subject was hitting himself with a stick and yelling for them to shoot him as he moved closer to the freeway. The subject was detained and transported to the hospital for evaluation.


13-144682, Burglary, 3300 block of Summer Park Dr., 7:01 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary where electronic equipment was stolen. Officers conducted follow-up and contacted the possible suspects that lived nearby. The property was located and returned and follow-up is being conducted. June 2 (incidents are from shifts starting June 1) 13-143364, Medical Aid, 2000 block of Garden Hwy, 12:20 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a potential drowning at Sand Cove Park. A 16-year -old male was with a group of friends and went for a swim in the river and became distressed while in the water. The fire department responded as well as Sacramento Police Department’s marine unit assisted in the search and rescue operation. DART unit was later requested. Law enforcement chaplains also responded.


13-143504, Subject Stop, 4100 block of Northgate Blvd, 3:34 p.m. A police officer assisted a loss prevention officer at a store. The loss prevention officer was dealing with one subject when a second subject was standing close by. The Sac PD officer contacted the second subject and that subject fled on foot, but was later caught. Both subjects were ultimately arrested and booked into county jail. Ryan Moreno, 36, was arrested for fleeing from police and for his active felony warrant. Clarissa Allen, 32, was arrested for burglary and for possession of methamphetamine.


13-143808, Traffic Collision, San Juan/Azevedo Drive, 9:12 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an injury accident. An intoxicated driver was travelling north on Azevedo approaching San Juan road and hit another vehicle. The intoxicated driver then attempted to flee the scene, but Palladin Security officers who were in the area detained the resistive driver. The driver was arrested and transported to the hospital due to his injuries sustained in the crash. The other driver was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. June 1 (incidents are from shifts starting May 31) 13-143079, Citizens Arrest, Gateway Park Blvd / N Bend Dr, 2:43 a.m. Jefferson Cortez, 25, was taken into custody after a security guard reported Cortez pointed a later determined replica gun at him. The security Guard originally approached Cortez who was walking in the area carrying a baseball bat and appearing suspicious. During the incident the security guard sprayed Cortez with pepper spray and placed him under citizen arrest until police arrived. Cortez was found to be in possession of narcotics and booked into Jail for brandishing the fake firearm and narcotic charges.


13-142987, Disturbance, 3600 block of Innovator Dr, 12:49 a.m. Officers responded to a noise disturbance and located a large party. Officers advised the responsible party of the noise complaints and they eventually complied with officer’s request. May 31 (incidents are from shifts starting May 30) 13-141414, Threats Report, 4200 block of El Centro Rd, 11:59 a.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a subject making threats. The subject threatened to shoot anyone in the pool area of the mobile home park at 2 p.m. Officers arrived and contacted the female subject in her 20s believed to have made the threats. A search of her residence revealed a shotgun that was taken for safe keeping. An information report was generated regarding the circumstances of this incident.


13-141976, Disturbance, 4800 block Broadwater Dr, 11:20 p.m. Officers responded to a call regarding a possible party in a vacant home in the neighborhood. Upon officers arrival they found a door to the home unsecure and the residence empty. While they were still on scene several subjects arrived and were presumably heading to the vacant house. Officers secured the home and deterred the individuals from entering the vacant house. Officers followed up with efforts to discourage additional similar incidents.


13-141955, Found Property, 3500 block of W River Dr, 10:48 p.m. Officers responded to a report of marijuana that had arrived via a courier to an unexpected recipient. The complainant called police when a package containing approximately 11 pounds of marijuana arrived at his home. The marijuana was booked for destruction and an information report was generated. May 30 (incidents are from shifts starting May 29) 13-140487, Casualty, Gateway Oaks Dr / Weald Way, 1:31 p.m. A witness reported seeing a female subject jump out of a moving vehicle during a verbal altercation with the male driver. The vehicle apparently ran over the subject’s foot and the driver was seen pleaded with her to get back in the car. The subject did reenter the car and the vehicle left the area. Officers immediately followed up and located the car and both parties at the vehicle’s address of record. A welfare check of the female verified that she was ok and an incident report was completed documenting what the witness observed. The subject related that she thought the vehicle was moving a lot slower than it was when she exited the car and she declined medical attention.


13-140696, Dead Body, 1400 block of Pebblestone Way, 5:30 p.m. Officers responded regarding a report of a dead body. The coroner took over the investigation after a preliminary investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances.


13-141033, Disturbance, 5600 block of La Casa Way, 11:43 p.m. Officers responded to the above location regarding a party in a vacant home. Upon officers arrival they found approximately 150 subjects inside the residence having a large party. Forced entry was discovered and the party was eventually dispersed. A city board up crew was dispatched to secure the home. May 29 (incidents are from shifts starting May 28) 13-138892, Traffic Stop, Ashley Way/Foxboro Way, 4:43 p.m. Officers contacted a vehicle that was driving in an unsafe speed in the area. The driver and 14-year-old family member was contacted. The driver, Deangelo Pitts was found to be in possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy pills and cash. Pitts, 27, was arrested for drug sales and felony child endangerment.


13-139400, Sex Assault Report, 500 block of Ozark Circle, 10:29 a.m. Complainant called SPD stating that her 5-year-old daughter told her she was inappropriately touched by another juvenile family member. Investigation is in progress.


13-139889, Stolen Vehicle, I-80/Truxel, 7:56 p.m. Officers observed and stopped a stolen vehicle. The driver, Larsha Jacobs, 38, was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle and Julius Thompson, 32, was cited for drug paraphernalia. May 28 (incidents are from shifts starting May 27) 13-138892, Traffic Stop, Ashley Way/Foxboro Way, 4:43 p.m. Officers contacted a vehicle that was driving in an unsafe speed in the area. Officers arrived and did not immediately find the woman, however she was later contacted and found to be responsible for the damage. Marcia Carr, 44, was arrested and booked into county jail.


13-137742, Theft, 2000 block of West El Camino, 9:43 a.m. Unknown subjects broke into a utility box and removed and stole circuit boards. May 26 (incidents are from shifts starting May 25) 13-136767, Theft, 100 block of Goldenland Ct., 10:10 a.m. Units responded to the location regarding a possible purse snatching. The victim stated that she had her purse next to her when two subjects came up and stole it. The suspects rode off on bikes. Responding officers contacted the two suspects whom both fled. One suspect was found hiding on an apartment stairway landing and was taken into custody. The other suspect was identified and located at his residence. Both juvenile suspects were taken into custody.


13-137266, Assault, 300 block of Harding Ave, 9:01 p.m. A call was received of a male and female fighting in front of a residence. Reports from neighbors stated that they heard a gunshot from inside the residence, however that was later determined to be unfounded. The couple ultimately came out of the residence and Mailer Yang, 27, was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.

May 25 (incidents are from shifts starting May 24) 13-135803, Burglary, 2100 block of Moonstone Way, 11:25 a.m. The juvenile victim was home alone when she heard a knock on the front and saw a subject outside her house. The victim called 911 and then heard sounds of someone inside the home. Officers quickly arrived, located the suspect in the area and a foot pursuit ensued. The suspect began jumping fences in an effort to avoid police capture. A perimeter was quickly established and an outside agency helicopter was in the area to assist. The suspect was observed fleeing over multiple fences to the 200 block of Lyman Cir where he forced his way into a residence and unsuccessfully attempted to carjack a vehicle. The resident ran from his home leaving the suspect inside and alerted awaiting officers outside. The suspect climbed onto the first story roof of the residence from a second story window. Officers surrounded the suspect and negotiated with him for over 30 minutes until he surrendered peacefully and came down from the roof on his own. James Ogden, 22, was taken into custody and booked for multiple charges including attempt burglary and carjacking, home invasion, resisting, and parole violation.


13-135860, Robbery, 1500 block of West El Camino Ave, 12:29 p.m. The two male adult suspects walked into a bank and approached the counter. One of the suspects demanded money from the teller who complied. The suspects walked out of the bank and no one was injured as a result of this incident. The FBI along with SPD detectives responded to assist with the investigation.


13-136435, Missing Person, 100 Block of Kelburne Ct, 10:36 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a 21-year-old male missing person. A missing report was generated.


13-136437, Missing Person, 100 block of Yerba Ct, 10:35 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing 15-year-old missing person. The MP has a history of going missing and a she was entered into the system. May 24 (incidents are from shifts starting May 23) 13-135091, Resisting, 2900 block of Truxel Rd, 4:05 p.m. Officers responded to a City library regarding a disturbance involving multiple juveniles. Further reports revealed the juveniles are known to have been involved in ongoing disturbances at this location and the service of “no trespassing” orders was requested. Officers arrived and contacted the subjects who became physically resistive and combative towards officers. During the officers’ physical struggle with two of the subjects the other two juveniles yelled a screamed at the officers. All four of the subjects were eventually detained and continued to verbally threaten physical harm to the security guard who called the police. During a canvas of the area, witnesses showed their appreciation for police assistance with these subjects.


13-135442, Missing Person, 1100 block of Brunswick Wy, 11:07 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing 16-year-old that was last seen with a friend earlier in the evening. The MP has brown hair, brown eyes, is 6 feet tall and weighs 240 lbs. The MP has previously been reported missing and was again entered into the system as such.


13-135496, 459P, 2900 block of Diorte Wy, 12:09 a.m. Officers responded to reports of numerous subjects inside of a recently vacant house. Upon arrival officers located several juveniles inside of the home apparently for the purpose of a party. Attempts to contact the owner of the home were made and the subjects were all eventually sent on their way. As the juvenile subjects were dispersing some minor physical altercations and disturbances broke out among the subjects. Officers remained in the area till the subjects cleared out.


13-135039, Robbery, 2600 block of Del Paso Rd, 3:02 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim was seated in her vehicle when the suspect walked up and forcibly took her cell phone from her hands. The suspect was described as a male Black in his early 20s with a thin build and short black hair. After the robbery the suspect left the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. May 23 (incidents are from shifts starting May 22) 13-133755, Burglary, 2200 block of Coroval Drive, 7:11 a.m. Officers responded to a ringing alarm from a residence. A witness reported two subjects exited the residence with property just prior to officers arriving. A burglary report was taken and this investigation is ongoing. The suspects were described as male White adults and were seen leaving the area in a vehicle.


13-133923, Burglary, 3200 block of Nordyke, 11:21 a.m. Officers responded to the above location regarding a subject jumping a fence into a back yard. As officers arrived they contacted the subject who had jumped back into the front yard of the residence. The subject was ultimately arrested for violation of his parole.


13-134190, Burglary, 100 block of Ainger Cir, 4:48 p.m. Officers were hailed regarding a recent burglary to a residence after the victim found his stolen property. Two bicycles were reported being stolen from the victim’s garage and he began looking around the neighborhood after the burglary. The victim directed officers to several juveniles in the area, one of which was observed by the victim riding one of the stolen bicycles. Officers investigated and determined that the juvenile was knowingly in possession of the stolen bicycle and was arrested for the same. The bicycles were recovered and released back to the victim.


13-133933, Assault, 800 block of San Juan Road, 11:35 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a physical assault. The 20-year-old female victim was assaulted by who is believed to be the girlfriend of the victim’s child’s father. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and a report was taken. May 22 (incidents are from shifts starting May 21) 13-133072, Assault, 500 block of El Camino, 1:16 p.m. A victim heard a noise and found that two subjects had broken into his residence. The victim began fighting with one and was hit with a bat by the other. The suspects then fled on foot. Suspects are both Hispanic men, 20s-early 30s, approximately 5’8”. One suspect had facial hair and a black hooded sweatshirt and the second suspect had a red hooded sweatshirt and jeans.


13-132856, DUI Accident, Garden Hwy/Truxel Rd, 8:09 a.m. Officers received calls of a reckless vehicle in the area that sideswiped a car and ran another off the road. The driver eventually hit another vehicle. Police arrived and contacted the driver and arrested him for DUI. The passenger was also arrested for an outstanding warrant.


13-133279, Dead Body, Bridgecross/Natomas Blvd, 4:38 p.m. Two joggers saw a body in the water in the canal and called police. Fire and police arrived, found the subject and confirmed that she was deceased and approximately 70 years old. There were no obvious signs of foul play and the coroner responded early on and took over the investigation.


13-133658, Arson, 100 block of Corkwood Ct., 12:26 a.m. Officers were dispatched to an address for a report of a vehicle fire. Officers arrived and found a small fire under the victim’s vehicle. It was determined that the fire was intentional due to evidence found at the scene. Arson investigators and Police EOD arrived to investigate.


13-133700, Robbery, 2500 block of Aimonetti Ave, 2:24 a.m. A victim arrived home and parked in the street. As the victim approached his home, a suspect approached on foot and demanded the victim’s cell phone. The suspect then fled in a blue 2006 Honda Accord. The suspect was described as a white man, 20-25 years-old and wearing a grey sweatshirt. May 21 (incidents are from shifts starting May 20) 13-132638, Burglary, 3600 block of Truxel Rd., 10:25 p.m. A suspect entered a business and removed cell phones from a display. The suspect then passed the merchandise off to an accomplice. The suspect was detained outside the store by loss prevention officers and ultimately arrested for burglary. The accomplice fled. Investigation is in progress.


13-132785, Vandalism, 4800 block of Kokomo Dr, 4:06 a.m. Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex on a report of a subject breaking into cars. Officers found that there was a vehicle with damage to the windows, headlights and taillights broken out. Follow-up being conducted. May 20 (incidents are from shifts starting May 19) 13-131354, Attempt Pick-Up, 700 block of Turnstone Dr, 12:25 p.m. Officers gathered information that a known suspect with a warrant was at a residence on Turnstone. The suspect fled out the back of the house, was engaged by police K-9, but was ultimately able to free himself and ran. Officers checked the surrounding area and were unable to locate him. The suspect is still outstanding.


13-131503, Welfare Check, 4800 block of Westlake Parkway, 4:34 p.m. Officers responded to check the welfare of a 3-year-old that was reported in the street and crying. Officers arrived, contacted the girl and after investigating, were able to locate the mother. Two adult family members were watching the child when they fell asleep. The mother was reunited with her child and CPS was notified.


13-131488, Sex Assault Report, 3300 block of Northgate Blvd, 4:19 p.m. An adult victim advised that a suspect, after striking up a conversation, inappropriately touched her. Investigation is in progress.


13-131883, Welfare Check, 5600 block of Bridgecross Dr., 3:18 a.m. Officers responded on a welfare check. The elder family member checked ok. May 19 (incidents are from shifts starting May 18) 13-130369, Theft, 3600 block of N. Freeway Blvd., 2:30 p.m. A suspect entered a store and stole multiple wireless devises before fleeing. The suspect was described as a white male adult, 25-30 years-old, 5’8”-5’10”, shaved head and wearing a blue and grey long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. May 18 (incidents are from shifts starting May 17) 13-128980, Suspicious Circumstances, North Bend Dr/Blackrock Dr, 2:11 p.m. A 10-year-old walking in the area reported being approached by an unknown subject. The juvenile told responding officers he was walking home when the subject, described as a male White in his twenties, reportedly grabbed his arm. An extensive canvas of the area was performed; however, no eye witnesses to the incident were able to be located. The subject was further described by the juvenile as having a thin build, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with dark hair. This investigation is ongoing.


13-129449, Sexual Assault, 1900 block of Arena Blvd, 7:33 p.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a sexual assault. The adult female victim reported being sexually assaulted by a known subject and a report was taken.


13-129930, Missing Person, 1900 block of San Juan Rd, 11:49 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing 16-year-old female. The juvenile left her home after a disagreement with her mother. May 17 (incidents are from shifts starting May 16) 13-127973, Domestic Violence, 2600 block of Truxel Rd., 7:30 a.m. Officers were hailed regarding a possible domestic violence in progress and ultimately arrested Jonathan Lamb, 20. Initial reports identified one of the involved subjects as Lamb who was discovered to have an outstanding violation of parole warrant in the system. When officers attempted to make contact, Lamb fled out a back window of an apartment. Lamb refused to comply with officers and the CED was deployed. Lamb continued to be combative towards officers and was able to be taken into custody. No officers were injured as a result of this incident.


13-128156, Burglary, 100 block Saginaw Cir, 11:42 a.m. Neighbors called to report seeing two suspicious subjects walking down the street carrying items and then jumping over fences. Concerned by what they observed, the neighbors called police who arrived and confirmed a burglary in the area had in fact occurred. The suspects were last seen leaving the area on foot and a burglary report was generated. The two suspects were described as male Black teens.


13-128899, Bike Stop, Jefferson Ave/ American Ave., 2:44 a.m. Alexander Olivares, 25, was observed riding a bicycle and attempted to elude officers. Olivares was relocated and found to be in possession of stolen property. May 16 May 15 (incidents are from shifts starting May 14) 13-126397, Burglary, 4800 block of Natomas Blvd, 1:52 p.m. Officers responded to multiple reports of burglaries in an apartment complex. The three burglaries and one attempted burglary were thought to have occurred between 1100-1230 a.m. The unknown suspect(s) forced entry through a rear sliding glass door, entered the residence and stole electronics. All four apartment units were on the first floor of the complex. Investigation is in progress. May 14 (incidents are from shifts starting May 13 13-125320, Burglary, 2300 block of Northgate Blvd, 9:34 a.m. During the night a suspect entered a pharmacy through a wall of an adjacent store. Taken were prescription narcotics.


13-125685, Theft, 4400 block of E. Commerce Way, 4:45 p.m. Officers responded to a report of two subjects attempting to purchase items using a stolen identity. Both suspects were contacted and ultimately arrested. Investigation is in progress.


13-125890, Disturbance, Far Niente Way/Carneros Creek Way, 9:54 p.m. A call was received about a possible domestic violence incident. The husband was said to holding onto a roof of a vehicle as the wife was driving and refusing to stop. It was found that they were in a verbal argument and the female went to leave and the husband jumped onto the roof of the truck in attempt to prevent her from leaving. The male half was arrested for outstanding warrants. May 13 (incidents are from shifts starting May 12) 13-124418, Warrant Service, 3300 block of Belden St, 8 a.m. Officers went to a location to serve an arrest warrant. Officers contacted, detained and arrested David Thomason. A search warrant of the residence was later obtained and discovered heroin, methamphetamine, a short barreled shotgun and a stun gun. Thomason, 48, was ultimately booked for drug possession and weapons charges.


13-124882, Assault, 1600 block of Scarlet Ash, 7:43 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an assault. A 14-year-old juvenile suspect along with other teens, were outside an apartment. The suspect had lighters and was trying to light objects on fire. At one point, the suspect lit the lower pant leg of a 9-year-old victim. The victim put the fire out. There were no visible signs of injury to the victim. The known suspect was ultimately found and arrested for arson.


13-124801, Subject Stop, Senida Way/Prince Henry Dr, 6:13 p.m. Officers contacted and arrested Jeremy Bates, 33, for possession of heroin.


13-125081, Sex Assault Report, San Juan/Northgate, 11:44 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault of a 16-year-old victim by a known suspect. Investigation is in progress. May 12 (incidents are from shifts starting May 11) 13-123320, Domestic Disturbance, 3200 block of Truxel, Rd, 10:21 a.m. An argument between the parents of a baby turned physical and their friends got involved. During the altercation a bat and a gun were brandished. Officers arrived and located the suspect vehicle nearby. A 15-year-old male was booked into juvenile hall for threats and 19-year-old Christopher Saldivar was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon. May 11 (incidents are from shifts starting May 10) 13-122990, Disturbance, 4700 block of Windsong St, 11:47 p.m. Offices responded to a disturbance regarding a house party inside of a vacant residence. Multiple juveniles were contacted and the house was cleared out and secured. One juvenile was taken into custody for curfew violation and possession of alcohol. May 10 (incidents are from shifts starting May 9) 13-120960, Bicycle Stop, West El Camino Ave/Fairweather Dr, 1:17 a.m. One subject was taken into custody for possession of narcotics and paraphernalia after officers contacted him riding a bicycle in the area.


13-121273, Vehicle Collision, 2100 block of Northgate Blvd, 11:54 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a solo overturned vehicle accident. The driver sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and a vehicle accident investigation was completed.


13-121658, Assault, San Juan Rd/Truxel Blvd, 6:07 p.m. Officers responded to a possible shooting. Upon arrival it was determined that the subject had been struck with a BB or Pellet and sustained minor injuries that did not require treatment at a hospital. Officers searched and canvassed the area and were unable to locate witnesses to this incident.


13-121750, Missing Person, 3600 block of Broadland Street, 7:55 p.m. Units responded to the above area regarding a 90-year-old at risk missing person. After an extensive search of the area and reverse 911, the MP was located by officers unharmed. May 9 (incidents are from shifts starting May 8) 13-120081, Missing Person, 300 block of Anjou Cir. 7:49 a.m. A mother called in that her 12-year-old daughter ran away after they had an argument. The mother had been in contact with the child periodically throughout the day. A report was taken.


13-120618, Robbery, 400 block of El Camino, 5:29 p.m. An elderly female was approached by two unknown subjects. The two subjects told the female a fictitious story that they had her family member held against his will. They demanded money from the victim. She was tricked into giving them her jewelry and was driven to a bank to withdrawal cash. Investigation is in progress. (Please be aware of scams like these targeting the elderly)


13-120546, Suspicious Circumstance, Honor Parkway/Bill Bean Circle, 3:55 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an unknown subject that approached an 11-year-old female and told her to get in his car. The victim ran off. Investigation is in progress.


13-120358, Sex Assault Report, 2800 block of Myotis Drive, 1:23 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a possible sex assault of a 3 ½ year old child by known subjects. Investigation is on-going. May 8 (incidents are from shifts starting May 7) 13-119468, Assault, 3800 block of Del Paso Rd, 3:25 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a fight between two subjects in the street. A victim intervened when the suspect was yelling at a female subject. The suspect turned on the victim and assaulted him. The victim sustained facial injuries from the fight. The suspect then fled prior to police arrival. Investigation is on-going.


13-119767, Disturbance, 4900 block of Kokomo Dr., 8:05 p.m. Officers received a call of 40-50 subjects in the park with vehicles blocking the streets. Officers arrived and found approximately 100 subjects in the park and on the street. The subjects dispersed and no major incidents arising from the gathering.


13-119802, Alarm, 1900 block of Railroad Dr, 8:43 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm activation that had video of two subjects around the area. Officers responded with the assistance of the air unit. Two subjects were ultimately detained and identified. Investigation is in progress.


13-119865, Pursuit, Northgate/I-80, 10:05 p.m. Officers attempted a vehicle stop and the vehicle fled. During the pursuit, the driver opened the door and threw out what was eventually found to be methamphetamine. Julio Castro, 42, ultimately pulled over on his own at I-80 and Longview and was taken into custody. Castro was arrested for fleeing, possession of the illegal substance and for outstanding warrants. May 7 (incidents are from shifts starting May 6) 13-118124, Assault, Gateway Oaks Blvd/North Market Blvd, 6:12 a.m. Suspect Franklin Cole, 60, was taken into custody for reportedly throwing an object at a passing vehicle. Officers responded to a report of a subject throwing rocks at passing vehicles after a windshield of a car was believed to be struck with a rock. The windshield was damaged but the occupants were uninjured. A search of the area revealed a subject (Suspect Cole) who was identified as throwing the rock at the vehicle.


13-118495, Assault, Arena Blvd/El Centro Rd, 3:07 p.m. The male victim and a female acquaintance were in a vehicle together when the victim was assaulted. May 6 (incidents are from shifts starting May 5) 13-118108, Assault, Northgate/Hwy 160, 5:10 a.m. Dispatch received multiple calls of suspect(s) throwing rocks at passing vehicles. Officers arrived and found that there were a few victims with vehicle damage and one driver sustained minor injuries. The driver’s injury was sustained from vehicle glass shattering from the rock hitting the vehicle. The unknown suspect(s) threw rocks from the bridge area down at the travelling vehicles. May 5 (incidents are from shifts starting May 4) 13-116100, Suspicious Subject, 500 block of Natalino Cr, 10:42 a.m. A caller advised someone was trying to force his way into a house. Officers responded, contacted the suspect and found him to be intoxicated. Officers investigated the incident and ultimately arrested Mark Clay, 21, for public intoxication.


13-109870, Arrest, 4600 block of Del Paso Rd, 9:45 a.m. Officer contacted and arrested Jeffrey Smith for an assault that occurred a few days ago. Smith, 45, was booked into county jail. Incident number 13-109870


13-116454, Hit and Run, 3300 block of Northgate Blvd, 5:42 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a hit and run. Witnesses stated that a suspect abruptly backed his vehicle up and hit a 13-year-old girl that had just exited a store. The suspect momentarily got out of the vehicle to check on the victim and then got back in and drove off. The victim sustained minor injury. Investigation is in progress.


13-116504, Sex Assault Report, 1600 block of W El Camino Ave, 6:43 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault. Officers contacted the victim and her estranged husband, investigated the incident and ultimately arrested the John Harms. John Harms, 26, was booked into county jail for sexual assault, domestic violence, kidnapping and false imprisonment. May 4 (incidents are from shifts starting May 3) 13-114795, Vandalism, 4100 Innovator Dr., 6:19 a.m. Officers responded to a report of vandalism. The victim reported flyers for his business were torn down and the cork board they were hanging on was damaged.


13-114805, Domestic Disturbance, 200 block of Harding Ave, 6:52 a.m. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. The victim called police when the mother of his children showed up at his door. Officers arrived and contacted both parties. The female half was eventually taken to jail for resisting officers and served with an active restraining order that was in the system.


13-114940, Burglary, 1900 block of Delgado Way, 10:54 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary that had just occurred. Property was taken from inside after the suspect(s) had forced entry into the home. A search of the area was negative and a report was taken.


13-115299, Medical Aid, 2500 block of Seamist Drive, 5:13 p.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a physical altercation. Responding officer’s canvassed the area and learned multiple involved parties had already left the scene. Shortly after officers arrived an area hospital advised of a subject being treated for a serious but non-life threatening injury. The victim is believed to be related to the original physical altercation incident and a report was taken documenting the circumstances of this call.


13-115744, Disturbance, W. El Camino Ave / Stone Creek, 11:46 p.m. Charles Tell, 53, and Adana Andrews, 32, were taken into custody for public intoxication after a security guard contacted them in the area. Prior to officers’ arrival the security guard was involved in a brief physical altercation with the two individuals. Responding officers eventually booked both subjects into the Sacramento County Jail without further incident. May 3 May 2 (incidents are from shifts starting May 1) 13-113245, Traffic Collision, Garden Highway and Natomas Park Drive, 6:01 p.m. Units responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. Both were traveling west on Garden highway when the collision occurred. The adult bicyclist turned in front of the vehicle and was struck by the car. The bicyclist was transported to a UCD with serious injuries. DUI was not a factor and the driver remained on scene.


13-113666, Burglary, 1500 block of El Camino Ave., 2:32 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers found that an unknown subject broke into the structure, stole items and fled. CSI responded. May 1 (incidents are from shifts starting April 30) 13-112396, Suspicious Subject, 1900 block of San Juan Rd, 8:33 p.m. Officers on patrol and were hailed by a victim who advised that her vehicle was burglarized and two purses were stolen. The victim described the possible suspect vehicle and officers searched the area. Officers located and stopped a vehicle leaving the complex that matched the description of the suspect vehicle. One of the stolen purses was on the floorboard of the vehicle. All stolen property was eventually recovered and Felix Isomy, 20, was arrested for burglary. April 30 (incidents are from shifts starting April 29) 13-111126, Disturbance, 800 block of San Juan Road, 3:25 p.m. Officers responded to a subject causing a disturbance in the area. Upon arrival officers recognized the subject to possibly be wanted and a search of the area was done. The subject was eventually located, hiding from police in the complex’s laundry room, and confirmed to in fact be a parolee-at-large April 29 (incidents are from shifts starting April 28) 13-109879, Assault, 4500 block of Truxel Rd., 7:19 a.m. An apartment resident was taking her dog out for a walk when she saw a subject going through the recycle dumpster. The subject picked up a rock and threw it at her when she told him to leave. The victim was struck in the face, but did not receive any visible injuries. The subject then rode off on his bike. He was described as a white man, approximately 40, long blond hair, missing front teeth, dark long sleeve shirt and dark jeans.


13-110004, Vehicle into Building, 4200 block of El Centro Rd., 11:42 a.m. A driver accidentally pushed on her car’s accelerator instead of its brakes and drove into the side of a building of an apartment complex. No injuries were reported. Sacramento Fire Department responded due to a gas line that was struck. There was no reported structural damage.


13-110174, Robbery, 2200 block of Citrine Way, 3:23 p.m. Three subjects knocked on the door to a residence and upon the occupants answering, they entered the house. One suspect held the occupants at gunpoint while the other two went into the bedroom and removed a small safe containing cash, jewelry and documents. One suspect was described as a white man in his mid 20s-early 30s. He had a beard with sunglasses and was armed with a handgun. The other two men were described as possibly white men, both wearing face coverings and clothing covering their arms and most of their bodies. CSI responded. April 28 (incidents are from shifts starting April 27) 13-108837, Burglary, 1500 block of West El Camino Ave., 9:30 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a business. Employees arrived at work in the morning and found the front door smashed and a small amount of money stolen from the cash register.


13-109290, Robbery, 1500 block of West El Camino Ave., 7:19 p.m. Employees of a business attempted to escort two suspected shoplifters off the property when the suspects became confrontational. Uniformed security at the scene attempted to assist and was assaulted by the suspects. The suspects took the security guard’s cell phone. Officers arrived and helped with the detention of the suspects and took them into custody.


13-109283, Assault, 3300 block of Winter Park Dr., 7:11 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a juvenile trying to drown another juvenile in a pool. Officers arrived and determined that the 22-year-old resident and the 14-year-old male victim that was at the complex visiting friends were in a verbal argument that turned physical. The suspect chased down the victim and held him underwater multiple times allowing the victim to come up for air. No reported injuries and Antonio Marshall, 22, was cited for child endangerment. April 27 (incidents are from shifts starting April 26) 13-108052, Robbery, 3500 block of N. Freeway Blvd, 3:16 p.m. Officers responded to a theft-in-progress. Three female adult subjects were observed collecting merchandise and were believed to be intending to steal the items. Security confronted the subjects who reportedly produced pepper spray and threatened the security officers. The subjects fled in a gold sedan and this investigation in ongoing in an attempt to identify the suspects.


13-108166, Domestic Dispute, 2700 block of Dorine Way, 4:54 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic dispute between parents regarding a child in common. A welfare check of the child was performed and no neglect was observed. An information report was taken and CPS notified.


13-108548, Assault, 300 block of Lindley Dr, 2311 hours Officers responded to the area regarding a stabbing assault. The adult male victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at an area hospital. A canvas was done for any witnesses or suspects with negative results.


13-108553, Shooting, 400 block of Lentini Way, 11:21 p.m. Multiple subjects entered into a vacant home and were causing a disturbance. As officers were clearing out the subjects they heard the sounds of shots fired. A canvas was done and no evidence of a shooting was observed. One juvenile was booked for public intoxication.


13-108736, Domestic Violence, Waterwheel St/Truxel Rd, 3:21 a.m. Officers responded to a domestic violence incident that was originally reported by an uninvolved witness as a kidnapping. The suspect left the area in the victim’s vehicle prior to officers arrival and a report was taken. The victim sustained minor non-life threatening injuries that were treated by fire personnel. April 26 April 25 (incidents are from shifts starting April 24) 13-105920, Sexual Assault, in the area of Pebblewood Dr/Stonecreek Dr, 12:16 p.m. The victim reported being sexually assaulted several years ago by a known subject. A report was taken and this investigation is ongoing.


13-106026, Custody, 2500 block of W. El Camino Ave, 2:24 p.m. Officers responded to the above area to assist CPS. A child was taken into custody for medical treatment and transported to an area hospital by CPS.


13-106031, Suspicious Activity, 3700 block of Poppy Hill Way, 2:26 p.m. Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity. A juvenile reported being harassed by other juveniles and a report was taken. This investigation is ongoing. A report was taken and the MP was entered into the system. April 23 (incidents are from shifts starting April 22 13-103989, Sex Assault Report, 5100 block of Banfield, 1:26 p.m. Officers responded to investigate a report of a sexual assault of a 14-year old by an adult family member. Investigation is ongoing. 13-104100, Domestic Violence, 2100 block of Sandcastle Way, 3:37 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a victim’s estranged husband following and harassing her. Investigation is ongoing. April 22 (incidents are from shifts starting April 21) 13-103131, Theft, 2300 block of Northgate Blvd, 2:55 p.m. Officers were hailed at the above locations regarding a theft of a backpack. The victim entered a store and put his backpack on the counter while shopping only to return to find the backpack stolen. The victim stated that he had a gun inside the backpack. Officers investigated and a report was taken. April 21 (incidents from shifts starting April 20) 13-102394, Subject Stop, Truxel Rd/West El Camino Ave, 7:33 p.m. An officer on routine patrol saw a subject loitering in the area, made contact and found that he had a felony warrant. Kevin Nelson, 26, was arrested and booked into county jail April 20 (incidents are from shifts starting April 19) 13-100861, Robbery, 1500 block of W. El Camino Ave, 10:30 a.m. The suspect entered an area bank and demanded money at gunpoint. The employees complied and the suspect fled on foot eastbound on West El Camino Ave. CSI responded to assist with the investigation and no injuries were reported. April 19 (incidents are from shifts starting April 18) 13-99877, Medical Aid, 2100 block of Sherrington Way, 12:04 p.m. Officers responded to a call of a subject in need of medical aid. The subject was transported to an area hospital to be treated.


13-100261, Traffic Stop, Truxel Road/I-80, 6:40 p.m. The driver of a vehicle was taken into custody after a probation search revealed a large amount of cash and narcotics in his possession.


13-100338, Vehicle Accident, 5500 block of Honor Parkway, 8:13 p.m. Officers responded to a non injury vehicle collision involving a car that struck a parked vehicle. A report was taken and no injuries were reported. April 18 (incidents are from shifts starting April 17) 13-98647, Assault, 2800 block of Mendel Way, 4:56 a.m. The victim was walking when he attempted to intervene in a physical altercation between an unknown man and woman. The male subject stabbed the victim who sustained non-life threatening injuries that were treated at a local hospital. Both subjects fled the scene on foot after the assault.


13-99290, Assault, 2000 block of San Juan Road, 7:07 p.m. During a domestic dispute the victim’s boyfriend fired a gun into the ground and fled the scene. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries sustained from being physically assaulted by the suspect during the incident. Officers continue to follow up in an attempt to locate the suspect


13-98777, Outside Agency Courtesy Report, 4800 block of Kokomo Dr, 9:35 a.m. An outside agency requested the Sac PD take a courtesy report regarding a crime that occurred in another jurisdiction. April 17 (incidents are from shifts starting April 16) 13-97681, Burglary, 2200 block of Able Way, 7 a.m. Residents awoke, went downstairs and found that items were missing from the first floor. An unknown subject entered the residence during the night and stole property before leaving.


13-98269, Theft, 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue, 5:40 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a theft. The victim reported having had his wallet pick pocketed in the parking lot.


13-98647, Assault, 2800 block of Mendel, 4:56 a.m. The victim was walking when he encountered a male and a female in a physical altercation. The victim went to intervene and separate the subjects. Once separated the male subject stabbed the victim in an upper appendage. The female and the male fled the area. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 6’, thin build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes. April 16 (incidents are from shifts starting April 15) 13-96795, Fatal Accident, San Juan Road/ Tumbleweed Way, 6:47 .m. Officers responded to a motorcycle accident involving an occupied school bus. The motorcycle rider was declared deceased at the scene. No one from the bus was injured and CHP handled the investigation.


13-97022, Suspicious Circumstances, 2900 block of Trap Rock Way, 12:10 p.m. Sacramento Police responded to the location for a welfare check of the complainant’s son. The son was not home, but family learned that he and his family were out of state. Nevada Highway Patrol contacted the man along with his family. He was ultimately arrested for domestic violence. April 15 (incidents are from shifts starting April 14) 13-96107, Traffic Collision, El Camino/ Business 80, 11:00 a.m. Patrol officer was struck by a DUI driver. No injuries to either party. There was significant damage to patrol vehicle. CHP responded for the report. April 14 (incidents are from shifts starting April 13) 13-94814, Robbery, Waterwheel/Seamist, 0050 hours Officers conducted investigative follow-up on a robbery from the night before and arrested two male subjects for robbery and conspiracy. One adult and one juvenile were taken into custody. April 13 (incidents are from shifts starting April 12) 13-94814, Robbery, W. El Camino Ave/Truxel Rd, 12:50 a.m. The victims were walking in the above area when they were approached by multiple suspects. After a brief conversation the suspects demanded the victim’s money at gunpoint. The suspects immediately fled the area and one reportedly fired multiple shots in the air as they departed. Responding officers were able to locate, identify and arrest one of the suspects involved in the robbery. This investigation is ongoing. April 12 (incidents are from shifts starting April 11) 3800rosinct13-93741, Suspicious Vehicle, 3800 block Rosin Ct., 1:17 a.m. Officers contacted a subject in a parked vehicle and a probation search was conducted. Further investigation was conducted and officers contacted additional subjects in the area. Narcotics were located and two subjects were arrested for various charges including narcotics and solicitation of prostitution. April 11 (incidents are from shifts starting April 10) 13-92770, Vehicle Pursuit, W El Camino Ave/Northgate Blvd, 2:59 a.m. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and a short vehicle pursuit ensued when the driver failed to pull over. The driver eventually abruptly stopped the car and immediately fled on foot. After a perimeter was established the driver, Sean Rushton, 20, was booked for evading, resisting arrest, and violation of probation. An passenger and only additional occupant also ran from the vehicle but was unable to be located. 13-92501, Robbery, 3200 block of Arena Blvd, 7:55 p.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a robbery. The suspect responded to a for sale ad the victim posted online. The female suspect fled with the victim’s property to an awaiting vehicle. The victim gave chase to the suspect who fled to the vehicle occupied by multiple subjects. As the vehicle departed the victim thought he observed the occupants of the vehicle point what he believed to be a gun at him. 13-92089, Missing Person, 3200 block of Azevedo Dr, 12:34 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing person. The 62-year-old male subject was reportedly last seen on Monday, 4-8-13. Officers followed up and were unable to locate the MP. A report was taken and he was entered into the system as a missing person. April 10 (incidents are from shifts starting April 9) 13-91378, Suspicious Person, 1600 block of Scarlet Ash Ave, 4:26 p.m. Officers contacted a juvenile subject in the area and a probation search was done. The juvenile did not have a reasonable explanation why he was in the area. The probation search revealed a possible stolen property; however, further investigation is required. 13-91743, Missing Person, 1100 block of Athena Ave, 12:13 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing person. The juvenile MP went missing from her home after having an argument with her family earlier in the evening. The area was checked by officers and the mp was entered into the system. The 11-year-old female is described as Hispanic, 4’10″, with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighing 70 pounds. Updated 3:45 p.m. on April 10, 2013: The missing person has been found, according to a police spokesperson. April 9 (incidents are from shifts starting April 8) 13-90733, Assault, Truxel/San Juan, 10:11 p.m. A victim felt that her vehicle was just rear ended. She got out of the vehicle to see if she if an accident occurred. As she did the driver of the other vehicle got out of his car and threw a plastic bottle at the victim striking her in the face. The driver of the other vehicle then fled the area. The victim sustained minor injury in the assault. The suspect was described as an 18-year-old black man, 5’8”, 140 pounds, wearing a black-grey sweater and black–grey hat. He was driving a Grey Sedan. April 8 (incidents are from shifts starting April 7) 13-089807, Robbery, 400 block of Potomac Ave, 10:22 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing. Fire personnel responded initially to a medical-aid call, arrived and found the male adult victim in his 30s had multiple lacerations to his head and was physically assaulted. Fire then requested police to respond. Officers arrived and found what appeared to be a home invasion robbery. The unknown suspect(s) entered the home through a front security door, assaulted the resident and stole property from the home. Officers found that the occupant had a small marijuana grow inside the residence. The victim was transported to an area hospital with significant, yet non-life threatening injuries. Officers searched the surrounding area and conducted a canvas for witnesses. CSI responded to collect evidence and photograph the scene. Investigation is in progress. April 7 April 6 (incidents are from shifts starting April 5) 13-87396, Robbery, 3200 block of Arena Blvd, 1:02 p.m. Officers responded to a robbery of a bank. The suspect approached the teller and demanded cash. No weapon was used or mentioned. The suspect was given money and ultimately fled the area in a vehicle. A canvas was performed and CSI and NCU were notified. The suspect was described as a Black male in his 20’s. This investigation continues to be ongoing.


13-87732, Brandishing, Rynders Way/Tarboro Lane, 7:12 p.m. Officers responded to this location concerning an unknown subject who brandished a gun. The juvenile victim indicated that he was near his home when the subject, unprovoked, produced and pointed the gun at him. The victim immediately fled the area and no injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a Black or Hispanic male adult in his 20’s.


13-87995, Disturbance, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 11:57 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival it was discovered that a physical altercation had occurred between two family members. One of the two adult sisters was found to be in possession of narcotics and taken into custody.


13-87097, Arrest, Northgate Blvd / West El Camino Blvd, 10:28 p.m. Officers contacted a subject in the area who was determined to be a parolee-at-large. Norman Thompson, 32, was arrested and booked without incident. April 5 (incidents are from shifts starting April 4) 13-86666, Robbery, 3700 block of Northgate Blvd, 4:44 p.m. The victim was approached by two suspects as he sat inside his vehicle. One of the suspects physically assaulted the victim and demanded property from him. The suspects stole case and other property from the victim prior to fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and a report was taken. One suspect is described as a Black male and the other is described as a Hispanic male, both in their 20’s.


13-86732, Burglary, 1700 block of Iverson Way, 5:59 p.m. Officers responded to the above location regarding a burglary-in-progress. The victim discovered a juvenile suspect inside his home. The juvenile fled from the home and ultimately fled the area on foot. 13-87130, Burglary, 3800 block of Truxel Rd, 5:06 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm activation. Responding officers observed forced entry to a closed business and a perimeter was established. The suspect was discovered to still be on scene and fled out of the business. Officers gave chase to the fleeing suspect who was quickly apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Leheun Johnson, 38, was taken into custody for burglary and being in possession of burglary tools. April 4 (incidents are from shifts starting April 3) 13-86057, Suspicious Subject, 4100 block of Innovator Dr., 10:57 p.m. Officers responded to a call of two subjects wearing masks and jumping a fence onto a property. Both juvenile subjects were found, contacted, identified and interviewed.


13-86203, Suspicious Circumstance, 2000 Block of Railroad Dr., 4:13 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a power failure and power lines down. City public works arrived as well and believe that the city owned line had been cut and tampered with possibly looking for or thinking it was copper wire. April 3 (incidents are from shifts starting April 2) 13-84489, Burglary, 1700 block of Teralba Way, 10:45 a.m. Officers were in the area of a suspicious subject call when they were contacted about a residential burglary. Officers investigated and contacted two subjects in the area. Investigation is in progress.


13-84575, Welfare check, 2800 block of Norcross Drive, 2:19 p.m. Officers responded to check the welfare of an 80-year-old resident. Officers entered the home and found the man deceased inside his home. Nothing suspicious was observed. April 2 (incidents are from shifts starting April 1) 13-83949, Assault, 2100 block of Zurlo Way, 6:42 p.m. A 32-year-old male victim intervened in an argument between two groups of men. The suspects turned their aggression toward the victim. The victim was ultimately stabbed numerous times in the upper torso. The suspects fled into a vehicle. A witness watched the suspect vehicle and notified police. CHP helicopter AIR23 found the suspect vehicle and guided ground units in for a vehicle stop. The two adult male suspects were arrested and booked into county jail for assault with a deadly weapon and the knife was found inside the car. The victim was transported to UCD with serious injuries. April 1 (incidents are from shifts starting March 31) 13-82830, Robbery, 1500 block of W El Camino, 11:34 a.m. A victim met the suspect to sell him a cell phone he had listed on a website. The suspect took the cell phone by force and fled on foot. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s.


13-83028, Found Property, 5300 block of Dunlay Dr., 4:56 p.m. A person was out on a walk and located a bag on the street containing a rifle. Police responded to book the property into evidence. 13-83248, Stolen Vehicle, W Silver Eagle/Northgate, 10:31 p.m. Officers responded to take a report of a stolen vehicle. Two hours later officers located and stopped the stolen car. The driver fled on foot, but was ultimately captured. Javier Villa, 27, was booked into county jail for theft of a vehicle. March 31 (incidents are from shifts starting March 30) 13-82270, Disturbance, 2000 block of San Juan Rd., 7:27 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance between roommates. Roommate Brenda Hayden, 22, had vacated the apartment days earlier and was back was attempting to retrieve personal belongings causing a disturbance. Hayden was agitated and continuing to cause a disturbance and refusing to comply with officer’s orders. Officers attempted to detain Hayden, yet Hayden was resistive. She was eventually handcuffed and arrested for assault on a police officer. Both officers sustained minor injuries.


13-82471, Outside Agency Assist, 2800 block of El Centro Rd., 10:36 p.m. Officers responded to assist the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department on a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was located, contacted and detained without incident.


13-82613, Burglary, 2900 block of Truxel Rd. 12:51 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm call and found that entry was made into the building. An unknown subject broke into the building and stole items from a vending machine. Police K-9 was utilized to search the building, but no suspects were found inside. March 30 March 29 (incidents are from shifts starting March 28 13-80153, Burglary, 4600 block of Black Rock Drive, 2:18 p.m. Multiple apartments were burglarized in the area. The incidents appeared to have occurred in the morning or early afternoon hours. Reports were taken and CSI responded to assist with the investigation.


13-80200, Dead Body, Northgate Boulevard/Arden Garden Hwy, 3:27 p.m. Officers were hailed regarding a report of a dead body in the area. Responding officers located the deceased subject and no suspicious circumstances were observed. The coroner was advised and took over the death investigation.


13-80518, Attempt Robbery, 10 block of Masterson Court, 9:21 p.m. The adult victim was walking when she was approached by a subject who attempted to grab her cell phone. The suspect was unsuccessful and he ran off to an awaiting vehicle. A report was taken and no injuries were reported.


13-80654, Burglary, 1500 block of W El Camino Ave, 1:09 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary to a closed business in the area. Forced entry was observed and items were taken from inside. CSI responded and a report was taken. The outside agency agreed to take a courtesy information report and forward it to Sac PD. March 25 March 24 March 23 (incidents are from shifts starting March 22 13-74692, Suspicious Person, 2500 block of West El Camino Ave, 9:23 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject seen in the area. Witnesses were concerned that the subject was possibly in the area casing and alerted police. The subject left the area prior to officers’ arrival and was unable to be located.


13-75391, Fatal Vehicle Accident, 4200 block of Northgate Boulevard, 9:25 p.m. Officers were called by the Sacramento Fire Department who was already on scene of a solo-vehicle motorcycle collision. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. It is believed at this time that the driver lost control, left the roadway and struck a fixed object. Traffic collision investigators were called to the scene to assist with the investigation. March 22 (incidents are from shifts starting March 21) 13-74455, Suspicious Vehicle, 200 block of Shrike Cir, 11:28 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. A 15-year-old juvenile reported that she observed the vehicle driving in the area and thought its driving pattern was suspicious. The vehicle’s occupant(s) made no attempt to contact the juvenile and the area was searched by responding officers with negative results.


13-74491, Warrant Arrest, Pebblewood Dr/Stonecreek Dr, 12:17 a.m. David Nunez, 36, was arrested for his outstanding warrant after being contacted by officers during a bicycle stop. March 21 March 20 March 19 March 18 (incidents are from shifts starting March 17) 13-70231, Assault, 800 block of Barros Dr., 10:23 a.m. A suspect got into an argument and pushed his girlfriend while she was holding their infant. She put the baby down and he then pushed her down to the ground again. Officers arrived and took the suspect into custody for domestic violence and child endangerment. Claudio Hernandez, 20, was transported to the county jail on both misdemeanor charges.


13-70290, Robbery, 1500 block of West El Camino, 11:57 a.m. Zeary Stubbs, entered a store, selected merchandise and attempted to leave without paying. Stubbs, 40, ran from security when they attempted to detain him outside the store. Security were able to detain him nearby prior to police arriving. Stubbs was booked into county jail for robbery and violation of probation. 13-70774, Burglary, 2400 block of Waters Edge Way, 8:32 p.m. A victim came home and noticed her purse missing from her kitchen counter. She went outside and saw two subjects standing between her home and the neighbors. One of the subjects had her purse. The victim chased the suspect, but ultimately could not catch them. Officers arrived and searched the area. The suspects were not found. The subjects entered through an unlocked door. March 17 (incidents are from shifts starting March 16) 13-69197, Subject Stop, Truxel Road/Gateway Park Dr, 11:41 a.m. Officers contacted a subject for panhandling. Patrick Burkart, 44, was identified and later arrested for violation of parole. March 16 (incidents are from shifts starting March 15) 13-68967, Domestic Violence, 3300 block of Arena, 1:49 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and a possible domestic violence. The female victim eventually admitted to being the victim of domestic violence and a report was taken.


13-68839, Probation Search, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 11:33 p.m. Officers responded to the above location to conduct a probation search. During the officers search nothing illegal was located. Later in the night officers responded to the area for a report of a physical fight and discovered it was possibly related to the same address where they had completed the earlier search. Officers then located and were able to shut down at large party that was occurring at the search location. March 15 (incidents are from shifts starting March 14) 13-67258, Domestic Violence, 1100 block of Rio Royal Way, 2:06 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence involving a knife. The victim was reportedly assaulted with a knife by his girlfriend during an altercation. The suspect was taken into custody upon officers’ arrival and booked without incident. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries that did not require medical attention.


13-67262, Disturbance, Watseka Way/Broadwater Dr, 2:10 p.m. A witness reported seeing what they believed to be a juvenile in possession of a rifle. Upon contact by officers it was discovered that the juveniles were in possession of an imitation rifle. They were taken home and this incident was discussed with their parents.


13-67867, Arrest, Northgate Blvd/Turnstone Way, 1:35 a.m. Michael Placencia, 58, was taken into custody for possession of narcotics after a search of his vehicle was done. March 14 (incidents are from shifts starting March 13 13-66637, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, 3500 Northgate Blvd /San Juan Rd. 8:44 p.m. Officers contacted three subjects inside a vehicle parked at a gas station. Three of the four that were contacted were ultimately arrested. Vanessa Amaya, 26, was arrested for possession of metal knuckles and violation of probation. Robert Sanchez, 25, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and violation of parole and a 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested for possession of metal knuckles.


13-66433, Assault, 2900 block of Truxel Rd., 5:22 p.m. Officers responded to a report of multiple subjects in a fight. Officers arrived and detained multiple subjects. It was determined that the fight was between students from two separate schools. Report was taken.


13-66816, Disturbance, 2200 block of Sandcastle Way, 12:13 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a fight. Officers arrived on scene, located a party and found a subject in the street threatening to fight other people. When the subject was confronted by officers he ran, but was subsequently caught. The 17-year-old male juvenile was arrested for evading the police and for public intoxication. While officers were on scene they heard two gunshots in the area. March 13 (incidents are from shifts starting March 12) 13-65082, Burglary Report, 3000 block of Stanhope Way, 9:53 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a vacant house that occurred last week. Upon arrival forced entry was observed and items were taken from inside the home. A report was taken.


13-65858, Robbery, 1800 block of Club Center Dr, 1:02 a.m. The victim was walking in the area when the suspect approached her. The suspect produced a handgun and robbed the victim at gunpoint then fled on foot with the victim’s property. No injuries were reported. The area was searched by responding officers but the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect was described as a black male adult in his 20s. March 12 13-64412, Vehicle Accident, W El Camino Avenue/Grasslands Dr., 3:27 p.m. Officers responded to a single vehicle rollover accident. The vehicle was traveling east on W El Camino Avenue at a high rate of speed. The 22-year-old male driver lost control of his car, left the roadway and struck multiple objects. The driver was transported to UCDMC with life-threatening injuries. Traffic investigators responded for the collision investigation.


13-64830, Suspicious Circumstance, Railroad Drive/Del Paso Boulevard, 11:23 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a bb gun shooting. Victims reported to dispatch that the suspects in a green Jeep Wranger drove up, asked the victims if they wanted to buy weed and then shot at them with a bb gun. No injuries were reported. The area was checked by ground units and SacPD Air1. No suspects were located. The victims did not remain on scene and were unavailable for police contact. A report was generated of the incident. March 11 13-063322, Subject Stop, W El Camino Ave / Truxel Rd, 7:38 a.m. An officer was driving and saw a subject he knew to be a parolee-at-large. The officer stopped and arrested the male subject. March 10 13-62528, Suspicious Subject, 3700 block of Northgate Blvd, 1:16 p.m. Officers contacted a subject and found that he was in possession of stolen property from an auto burglary. Alton Rogers, 32, was arrested and booked without incident.


13-62611, Robbery, 4600 block of Natomas Blvd, 3:14 p.m. An unknown suspect walked behind a controlled area of a pharmacy. The suspect didn’t say a word and removed four bottles of cough syrup containing codeine. When the pharmacist attempted to stop the suspect she was shoved out of the way. The suspect fled the area on foot. The suspect was described as a black male adult, 25-30, 5’8”, stocky build, dark complexion with possible acne scars. Investigation is in progress.


13-62945, Assault, 2500 block of River Plaza Drive, 9:04 p.m. Two roommates were in a heated argument that turned physical. One roommate sustained minor injury from an object being thrown during assault. Neither party wished to pursue charges. March 9 (incidents are from shifts starting March 8) 13-62077, Suspicious Vehicle, 3500 block of Northgate Blvd, 11:04 p.m. Officers located two vehicles, with multiple apparent juvenile occupants, in a gas station parking lot. Both vehicles and their occupants were eventually searched and multiple guns were located. Four subjects were arrested for possession of the loaded handguns that were seized. March 8 (incidents are from shifts starting March 7)<\strong> 13-60729, Stabbing, West El Camino Ave/Stonecreek Dr, 3:34 p.m. Officers responded to this location concerning a stabbing that occurred. Upon arrival officers contacted the adult male victim in his 50’s who had been stabbed in the hand by the male adult suspect. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening. The suspect, Keven Neal, 54, was taken into custody for assault.


13-61138, Arrest, West El Camino Ave / Thelma Way, 11:41 p.m. Gerald Garduno, 60, was taken into custody for his violation of parole warrant after he was contacted riding a bicycle. March 7 (incidents are from shifts starting March 6) 13-59768, Suspicious Activity, N. Bend Drive/Gateway Park Blvd, 2:36 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area. An elementary school student indicated that an adult male attempted to speak to him while he was walking home from school. The child did not respond to the subject, immediately left the area and was unharmed. Detectives were notified and this investigation is ongoing.


13-59881, Brandishing, 3700 block of Innovator Dr, 4:15 p.m. The juvenile victim indicated his former estranged friend pointed a handgun at him in the above area. Officers responded and located two juveniles nearby that were related to this incident – one of which was believed to be the person who brandished a gun at the victim. A search of the primary suspect’s residence revealed a loaded gun and a BB gun. Further investigation revealed a second firearm hidden in the backyard of the juvenile acquaintance the suspect was with at the time of police contact. The juvenile suspect was booked on multiple charges including terrorist threats and various prohibited weapons charges.


13-060174, Suspicious Activity, 3400 block of Bridgeford Dr,10:19 p.m. Officers followed up on a report of a gun that was possibly seen by a third party during a physical fight. The involved party was contacted and this incident appears to be unfounded. March 6 March 5 (incidents are from shifts starting March 4) 13-57847, Welfare Check, 3500 block of Pike Ave., 12:54 p.m. Three children walked to a relative’s house and complained that they were hungry and that they couldn’t wake up the mom. Officers responded, located the children’s home and contacted the mother at the residence. Mother was ok. CPS was notified. March 4 (incidents are from shifts starting March 3) 13-56807, Subject Stop, Hwy 160/Northgate, 8:34 a.m. Officers contacted and arrested Curtis Calvin, 48, for possession of methamphetamine, needles and a switchblade.


13-56826, Assault, 2000 block of Club Center Drive, 9:08 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a fight between a male and a female. Ultimately both parties were arrested and found to be in possession of a stolen rental car.


13-56987, Subject Stop, Garden Hwy/Northgate, 1:42p.m. Officers contacted and arrested Tim Berry, 29, for possession of methamphetamine. March 3 (incidents are from shifts starting March 2) 13-56523, Medical Aid, 2600 block of San Juan Rd., 10:55 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a citizen that was on the ground in the roadway. A security guard was hailed by citizens regarding the female. The security guard pulled her out of the roadway and onto the sidewalk where the female became assaultive on the security guard. The guard deployed his CED and was eventually detained. The 50-year-old female was transported to the hospital for evaluation and was also cited and released for assault. March 2 (incidents are from shifts starting March 1 13-54806, Dead Body, 4500 block of Natomas Blvd, 11:57 a.m. Officers responded to the area for the purpose of a welfare check on a subject who did not show up for work. The subject was located deceased inside his residence and nothing suspicious was observed. The coroner responded and took over the investigation.


13-54640, Stolen Vehicle, Northgate Blvd / El Camino Ave, 11:01 p.m. Officers were on scene speaking to the victim who had just had their car stolen. A second officer, who was on routine patrol, observed the victim’s vehicle occupied by two possible suspects in the above area. The two suspects were contacted and the driver was ultimately arrested for vehicle theft.


13-55611, Reckless Driving, Del Paso Road/National Dr, 12:29 a.m.” Officers responded to a report of sounds of vehicle racing in the area. Upon arrival numerous subjects/vehicles were located who began to flee the area. One vehicle was observed fleeing at a high rate of speed with no headlights on. The driver was contacted, cited for reckless driving, and his vehicle was towed. March 1 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 28) 13-53535, Suspicious Person, NorthBorough Dr/N. Park Dr, 9:08 a.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a possibly armed subject. Officers quickly arrived and multiple area schools were placed on a brief lockdown as a precaution. The area was saturated with patrol units and a CHP air unit assisted with searching the area. No armed person was located and the lockdown was lifted a short time later. The caller was re-contacted and could not provide any further information regarding what he had observed.


13-53795, Suspicious Subject, 2500 block of New Market Drive, 2:30 p.m. Officers responded to the area on a report of a suspicious subject/vehicle. A student reported seeing a black Ford cargo type van with rust on its front bumper following her in the neighborhood. The van was driven by a male White in his 30’s. Feb. 28 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 27) 13-52877, Traffic Stop, Northgate Blvd/San Juan Road, 3:32 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop and the driver was found to be on searchable probation. A search of her vehicle revealed a prohibited weapon (billy club). Mellisa Fulmer, 19, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail without incident for the weapon charge. Feb. 27 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 26) 13-51707, Dispute, 1300 block of Chuckwagon, 12:54 p.m. The call originally came in as an armed robbery and that suspects fled in the area of Northgate and San Juan. The robbery was unfounded, but it was found to be a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend. Davonte Oliver, 19, was contacted. A search of his home yielded marijuana plants, a stolen vehicle and an assault weapon. Oliver was booked on multiple charges. 13-52351, Homicide, 2200 block of Atrisco Circle, 11:52 p.m. Officers responded to a 911 call of a woman screaming. Officers arrived and found a 9-year-old victim with blunt force trauma to his head. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. His father, Phillip Hernandez, 36 was later found walking in the area and arrested for the homicide. Hernandez was booked into county jail. The weapon was recovered at the scene. Homicide investigators, Coroner’s Office and CSI responded. Investigation is in progress. Feb. 26 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 25) 13-51052, Child Neglect, 3400 block of Summer Park Drive, 6:35 p.m. Officers were called to assist CPS with a child abuse investigation. The 13-year-old victim was contacted and found to have injuries. The child was taken into protective custody and Alfred Reams, 33, was arrested for felony child abuse. Reams is being held in the Sacramento County Jail; his bail has been set at $50,000.


13-51132, Robbery, 1900 block of San Juan Rd., 8:33 p.m. The victim left his apartment and encountered three suspects near San Juan Rd. One suspect came behind the victim and shoved what the victim perceived as a handgun into his back and demanded the victim’s property. An actual gun was never seen. After the victim gave the suspects his property they fled on foot. The victim walked off and was approached again by the same three suspects. This time one of them demanded the victim’s phone then ran off once again. All three suspects were described as black male adults. One main suspect was described as being in his early 20s, 5’11”, 170, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with possibly with a gray hood, and blue jeans.


13-51295, Traffic Stop, Northgate/Columbus, 12:40 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop and contacted Tina Provost and Robert Islas. Provost, 44, was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun and later booked into county jail on multiple gun related charges. Islas, 51, was found to be in possession of heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine. Islas was also arrested and booked into county jail for drug related charges. Feb. 25 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 24) 13-49757, Vehicle Stop, Honor Parkway/Bill Bean Cir, 11:37 a.m. A marked patrol unit attempted to stop a vehicle when it fled from the officer’s signal to stop. A vehicle pursuit ensued and terminated when the suspect vehicle struck a center median. All of the four occupants immediately fled from the vehicle on foot. The adult male driver and an adult male passenger were eventually located with the assistance of K9. The two juvenile female passengers were caught after attempting to flee through an apartment complex. The vehicle revealed to be stolen from an outside agency jurisdiction.


13-49993, shoplifting, 3600 block of Truxel Rd, 4:56 p.m. Loss prevention requested assistance with a shoplifter. Upon arrival the subject was identified and issued a no trespassing order. Feb. 24 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 23) 13-48986, Sexual Assault, Bonfair Ave/Tynebourne Street, 4:05 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault by a known suspect. The juvenile suspect reportedly assaulted a family member and was taken into custody by responding officers.


13-48460, Missing Person Follow-up, 500 block of Aviator Cir Officers continued to follow up regarding a 10-year-old missing person. Information was received that suggested the missing juvenile was in the care of a family member. The juvenile was eventually located, unharmed, and is back in the care of her legal guardian.


13-49297, Subject Stop, 400 block of Harding Ave, 9:38 p.m. Officers observed a suspicious subject loitering in the area. Upon contact with the subject it was learned that a second subject was hiding in the area and possibly armed with a gun. When additional officers arrived, the female subject reportedly hiding was located and found to be in possession of a replica handgun. Tammy Venegas, 41, was discovered to have multiple outstanding arrest warrants. Venegas was booked into Sacramento County Jail for her warrants without incident. Feb. 23 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 22) 13-47834, Suspicious Activity, North Park Dr/Banfield Dr, 11:56 a.m. Officers responded to the area and contacted a juvenile who was reportedly brandishing a gun. Officers eventually located the juvenile and determined that he was actually in possession of a replica handgun (BB gun). The juvenile subject was arrested for altering or changing an imitation air gun.


13-48038, Arrest, 800 block of Rancho Roble Way, 3:49 p.m. Officers located Gino Crespo, 22, who was booked for his outstanding warrant.


13-48460, Missing Person, 500 block of Aviator Circle, 11 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a missing juvenile. The 10-year-old reportedly ran away and a report was taken. Feb. 22 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 21) 13-46831, Suspicious Activity, 3400 block of Fong Ranch Road, 12:42 p.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a student that was found to be in possession of marijuana and a replica handgun. The 17-year-old juvenile was booked into juvenile hall for possession charges and brining a weapon (BB gun) on school grounds.


13-46981, Suspicious Activity, 2500 block of New Market Drive, 3:13 p.m. Officers responded to the area concerning a juvenile male subject believed to be armed with a handgun while riding his bike. Officers quickly arrived and detained the subject. The juvenile subject was discovered to have been in possession of a replica handgun and led officers to fake gun’s (BB gun) current whereabouts. The suspect was cited for possession of a weapon on a school campus. Feb. 21 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 20) 13-46117, Suspicious Subject, 100 block of Beecham Ct., 4:49 p.m. Officers did an attempt pick-up of a subject that had a felony warrant. One subject attempted to flee out the back window, but then retreated back inside after seeing officers in the backyard. The occupants were called out of the house and multiple people were detained. Parole-at-Large Aaron Arcusa, 44, was arrested and booked into county jail.


13-46359, Traffic Stop, Northgate Blvd/San Juan Rd., 9:32 p.m. Anthony Rodriguez, 18, was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. He was booked into county jail.


13-46337, Suspicious Circumstance, 3800 block of Rosin Ct., 9:07 p.m. Officers contacted and arrested two subjects that had felony warrants. Robert Twofeather, 34, and Karen Hughes, 23, were booked into county jail. Twofeather was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and was in violation of his probation. Feb. 20 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 19) 13-44865, Found Property, 3200 Block of N. Park Dr, 10:40 a.m. A loaded firearm was located in a garbage can of a middle school. Further follow up was completed and a 14-year-old juvenile student was identified as placing the gun in the trashcan. The juvenile was arrested for multiple weapons charges and booked into Juvenile hall.


13-44837, Suspicious Person, 3400 block of Fong Ranch Road, 10:10 a.m. A student had been called to the principal’s office on an administrative matter. The student was observed dropping off a backpack at the library prior to going to the office. An employee checked the backpack and found a loaded handgun. The 16-year-old juvenile student was arrested and booked for weapons charges.


13-45358, Robbery, 3800 block of Willow Street, 8:32 p.m. Three subjects entered into a restaurant and robbed the business at gunpoint. Two employees were physically assaulted by the suspects who stole cash. The suspects fled and were unable to be located by responding officers.


13-45388, Robbery, 2600 block of Northgate Boulevard, 9:20 p.m. Three suspects robbed a liquor store at gunpoint. Two employees were physically assaulted by the suspects. The suspects stole cash and fled the store on foot. This incident appears to be related to (13-45258). Multiple patrol resources were dedicated to the area in an attempt to locate the suspects. The suspects are described as male Hispanic adults in their 20’s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 140 to150 pounds.


13-45391, Robbery, 3200 Block of Northgate Boulevard, 9:28 p.m. Three suspects believed to be related to two other robberies (13-45388 and 13-45358) entered into a business and stole cash from an employee at gunpoint. The aggressive suspects took cash before fleeing on foot. Officers were already in the area and made it to the scene very quickly but the suspects were unable to be located. CSI responded to assist with the investigation.


13-44927, Forgery, 2500 block of W El Camino Ave, 12:02 p.m. Bank employees became suspicious of woman attempting to cash a large check. It was determined that Allison Lozoya, 18, was attempted to forge a signature on the check and was eventually taken into custody by responding officers.


13-44983, Suspicious Person, Dunlay Dr/Northborough Dr, 1:19 p.m. Officers contacted aggressive door-to-door solicitors in their vehicle when neighbors called in to report their activity as suspicious. The occupants of the vehicle were identified and a suspicious activity report was taken.


13-45250, Subject Stop, 3300 block of Northgate Blvd, 6:17 p.m. Officers contacted Tanya Canady, 43, sitting in her parked vehicle. Canady was taken into custody when narcotics were located in her vehicle after a probation search was done. Feb. 19 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 18) 13-43996, Vandalism, 1800 block of William Bird Ave, 9:19 a.m. Sometime overnight an unknown subject(s) spray painted the victim’s vehicle with a racial epithet and other writings. The victim heard kids outside during the night, but didn’t think anything of it. CSI responded and a report was taken. Feb. 18 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 17) 13-43215, Outside Agency Assist, 2300 block of Oak Harbour Dr., 10:10 a.m. Sacramento Fire Department requested Police assistance with an apartment fire. They extinguished the fire and found a male occupant deceased inside the home. At this point, there is nothing to indicate that the death is suspicious. Fire personnel are investigating and the Coroner responded.


13-43458, Assault, 3300 block of Winter Park Drive, 4:27 p.m. Kenneth Dahlen, 59, was contacted and arrested by officers while investigating an assault. The suspect and his complex manager had an ongoing disagreement. The suspect attempted to strike the victim with his car and missed, but backed up and attempted to hit her again, this time striking her in the arm. The victim received minor injuries as a result of the assault. Dahlen was booked into county jail for assault with a deadly weapon.


13-43649, Subject Stop, Northgate Blvd/Rio Tierra, 8:29 p.m. Officers contacted and arrested parolee-at-large Raymond Torrence. Torrence, 47, was booked into county jail.


13-43842, Missing Person Report, 2300 block of La Lima Way, 12:32 a.m. A teenager ran away from home and was later seen by family members nearby, yet she ran from them. Officers checked the area, investigated and where unable to find the 13-year-old. A report was generated and the female was put into the missing persons system. Feb. 17 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 16) 13-42209, Suspicious Activity, 5400 block of Boswell Dr., 10:06 a.m. A neighbor reported a marijuana grow inside a residence in the neighborhood. Police responded and found approximately 200 plants inside. Officers investigated, obtained a search warrant and seized evidence. Investigation is in progress.


13-42753, Assault, San Juan Rd/Northgate Blvd., 9:14 p.m. A victim of a shooting arrived at an emergency room and officers were called to investigate. The victim sustained non-life threatening gunshot wound to his upper body. Feb. 16 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb .15) 13-41434, Outside Agency Assist, Northgate Blvd/Patio Dr, 4:12 p.m. Officers responded to assist an outside agency who was in pursuit of a suspect wanted on a felony warrant. The pursuit came into Sacramento Police jurisdiction, exited the freeway at Northgate Blvd, and collided with an uninvolved vehicle. The suspect immediately fled on foot from his car. With the Sacramento police air unit overhead directing officers, the suspect was quickly apprehended in the area. The occupants of the other car sustained non-life threatening injuries that were treated at a local hospital.


13-41583, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, Northgate Blvd/Harding St, 7 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop and found two occupants of the vehicle to have outstanding warrants. A search was done and one occupant was found to illegally be in possession of prescription medication for sales.


13-41906, Stolen Vehicle, Crest Drive/North Bend Dr While heading to an unrelated call for police service a patrol vehicle was nearly struck by a vehicle with no lights on. Officers immediately discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen from an outside jurisdiction. The driver was safely contacted and taken into custody without incident for vehicle theft charges.


13-41721, Missing Person, 3000 block of Wiese Way Officers responded to a report of a missing person. The 14-year-old missing person left home after being disciplined. A report was taken and the MP was entered into the system. Feb. 15 Feb. 14 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 13) 13-038989, Missing Person, 600 block of Wilson Ave, 8:45 a.m. Officers responded to reports of a missing 50-year-old person. A report was taken and the missing person was entered into the system.


13-039088, Outside Agency Assist, 2000 block of Club Center Drive, 11:09 a.m. Officers responded to the area when an outside agency requested assisted with two suspected wanted subjects barricaded inside a residence. SPD SWAT and HNT were called out and the two individuals eventually surrendered peacefully. Feb. 13 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 12) 13-38590, Possession of Stolen Property, 2500 Block of Venture Oaks Way, 6:36 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicious person that was going through a purse. Upon arrival officers contacted the subject and determined the purse to be stolen property. Rapid follow up to the stolen purse was conducted and the suspect was identified as possibly being responsible for multiple thefts in the area. This investigation continues to be ongoing.


13-38888, Domestic Violence, 600 block of Satano Drive, 3:59 a.m. The victim was driving when her ex-boyfriend chased her and intentionally rammed her car with his vehicle. The suspect was contacted by responding officers after subsequently colliding with a fixed object with his vehicle. The suspect was booked for domestic violence and assault. No injuries were reported by the victim or the suspect Feb. 12 Feb. 11 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 10 13-36722, Traffic Accident, Arena Blvd/I-5, 3:24 p.m. Officers responded to an accident involving two vehicles. Three adult occupants were transported to the hospital with major injuries. No indication of DUI. Feb. 10 Feb. 9 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 8) 13-34603, Burglary, 300 block of Barnhart Cir, 9:37 p.m. Officer responded to a burglary to a residence where cash and other personal items were taken. Witnesses in the area recognized the suspect as the victim’s brother who was later taken into custody by officers. The victim’s property was recovered and the suspect was booked into jail for burglary. 13-032657, Suspicious Activity, 3200 block of North Park Drive, 1:48 p.m. Officers responded to a middle school when staff discovered a student in possession of an unloaded handgun on campus. Staff observed two students passing something back and forth and acting if they were hiding something. The students were contacted and their backpacks were immediately searched. The gun was taken from the 13-year-old student and eventually given to responding officers. Officers investigated and believe the gun was never loaded while in the possession of the juvenile and that it belonged to the juvenile’s parent. The student was taken to juvenile hall and booked for bringing the firearm to school.


13-032819, Assault, San Juan Rd / Bridgeford Dr, 4:01 p.m. Officers responded to a subject who had been stabbed and sustained a non-life threatening injury. The 17-year-old victim and suspect are known to each other and were involved in a physically altercation just prior to the assault. The 20-year-old suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival and a report was taken.


13-033113, Arrest, 2900 block of Del Paso Road, 9:48 a.m. Officers arrested a passenger of a vehicle during a traffic stop. Ubaldo Fuentes, 41, attempted to falsely impersonate another subject to avoid arrest. Officers eventually learned his true identity and he was taken into custody for violation of parole and false impersonation. Feb. 6 (incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 5) 13-031542, Assault, 900 block of Hawk Ave, 8:57 a.m. Sylvia Paez-Garduno, 47 was contacted and arrested after investigating an assault. Paez-Garduno and the victim became involved in an argument over drugs. The argument became violent and Paez-Garduno stabbed the victim in his upper extremity. Feb. 5 (incidents from shifts starting Feb. 4) 13-031009, Subject Stop, Normington Dr / Carberry Way, 3:51 p.m. Officers contacted and later arrested Samuel Bruno, 56, for being in possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest and an outstanding warrant. Feb. 4 (incidents from shifts starting Feb. 3) 13-029892, Unoccupied Vehicle, Hornsea Way / Gibraltar St, 8:52 a.m. Dispatch received a call of a vehicle illegally parked in front of a fire hydrant. Neighbors had reported that the vehicle was responsible for reckless driving the night before. Ultimately, the vehicle’s owner was not found and the vehicle was towed. Feb. 3 (incidents from shifts starting Feb. 2) 13-029204, Sex Assault, 2600 block of Stonecreek Dr, 2:32 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a sex assault report. The victim reported that a male acquaintance sexually assaulted her. The 42-year-old suspect was identified, located and arrested.


13-029172, Traffic Accident, Truxel Rd / I 80 Wb, 12:53 p.m. Police responded to a traffic collision on the overpass. The collision caused traffic delays in the area. A pick-up and an SUV collided which caused the SUV to overturn. Both parties were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.


13-029266, Robbery, West El Camino/ Truxel Road, 3:49 p.m. A victim contacted a patrol officer and told him that he was just robbed. The victim was riding his bicycle in the area on Friday night when he was shoved off his bicycle. The suspect demanded the victim’s cash. The suspect then took the victim’s wallet and cash out of the victim’s pockets and fled. The suspect was described as possibly a black male, 6′, thin and wearing dark clothing.


13-029609, Robbery, 4500 block of Gateway Park Blvd, 10:46 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a business. Three suspects entered the occupied restaurant, ordered the customers and staff to empty their wallets. The three suspects fled with money and wallets from the customers, and money from the business till. All three suspects were possibly black males, thin builds, approximately 5’9″-6′ tall, young adults and they were all armed with handguns. Two of the suspects were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, and face coverings. One suspect was wearing grey sweatshirt.


13-029586, Disturbance, 2900 block of N Platte Way, 10:25 p.m. Officers dispersed a large crowd that was occupying a vacant house. The party was said to have approximately 300 individuals. Gunshots were heard during the dispersal, but officers were unable to locate the origin of the sound. No injuries were reported. Feb. 2 Feb. 1 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 31) 13-027506, Suspicious Subject, Northgate Blvd/San Juan Rd, 7:11 p.m. Police contacted a suspicious subject parked in a vehicle in front of a liquor store. Upon contact the subject immediately exited the vehicle and began to walk away. As the officer attempted to detain the subject, he physically resisted and attempted to flee. After a brief struggle the subject was detained. A loaded handgun was located inside of the subject’s vehicle. The officer sustained minor scratches during the struggle. Arrested for possession of a hand gun was Robert Woodruff, age 30.


13-027840, Burglary, 3200 block of Arena Blvd, 2:46 a.m. Three suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts broke the glass door of a business and stole various items. CSI responded to process the scene. Jan. 31 Jan. 30 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 29) 13-025223, Robbery, 3500 block of Del Paso Rd, 12:33 p.m. Officers responded to a robbery of a bank. The suspect walked up to the teller, said he had a gun and demanded cash. Employees of the bank complied and the suspect left. No injuries were reported and the FBI also responded to assist with the investigation. No injuries were reported.


13-025249, Outside Agency Assist, 3500 block of N Freeway Blvd, 12:45 p.m. Officers responded upon the request of an outside agency to attempt to locate a subject wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence. The suspect was located without incident and transferred custody to the other agency for booking.


13-025312, Missing Person Locate, 1000 block of Garden Highway, 2:21 p.m. Missing Person Christian Lopez (13-22390) has been located and is unharmed. A witness recognizing Christian from a missing person bulletin and called police. Christian was taken out of the system and reunited with his family.


13-025031, Missing Person, 3300 block of Smoketree Dr, 7:56 a.m. The 14-year-old missing person has history of running away and was last seen leaving school around noon on January 28, 2012.


13-025868, Assault, 4900 Block of Natomas Blvd, 3:12 a.m. The victim was met by a known subject (suspect) regarding an ongoing dispute from weeks prior. When the victim arrived to meet the known suspect he, along with two additional suspects, physically assaulted the victim and took his wallet, keys, and vehicle. Officers responded and an investigation ensued. Follow up by responding officers resulted in all three suspects being located and taken into custody for multiple charges including carjacking, conspiracy, robbery, and assault. The victim sustained multiple injuries that appear non-life threatening. Jan. 29 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 28) 13-024302, Robbery, 3100 block of Northstead Dr, 10:53 a.m. The victim was walking in the area when the suspect robbed her at gunpoint. The victim was not injured as a result of the robbery; however, she was transported to the hospital after feeling ill from a pre-existing condition. The suspect is described as a male White in his 20’s.


13-024122, Burglary, 2000 block of Pebblewood Dr, 6:41 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary. Upon arrival evidence of forced entry was located and multiple items were reported missing. A report was taken and CSI responded to assist with collection evidence.


13-024277, Missing Person, 2200 block of Anton Way, 10:23 a.m. A 19-year-old missing person was last seen on Friday, January 25, 2012. There is no prior history of the MP leaving for this length of time. A missing person report was taken and he has been entered into the system as an MP. Jan. 28 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 27) 13-023942, Vehicle Pursuit, Great Egret Ct / Far Niente Way, 9:58 p.m. During a traffic stop the driver of the vehicle drove away and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit was terminated by the officer due to unsafe conditions. A felony evading report was taken and this investigation is ongoing.


13-023953, Robbery, Hawk Ave / Thelma Ave, 10:00 p.m. The victim was walking in the area when she was approached by multiple suspects who robbed her at knifepoint. The suspects forcibly took the victim’s purse and fled. The victim was uninjured and the suspects were unable to be located in the area. The suspects are described as male Hispanics and male Blacks in their late teens.


13-023975, Domestic Violence, 5700 block of Amnest Way, 10:46 p.m. Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Upon officers arrival the victim reported she was physically assaulted by her husband and had visible non-life threatening injuries. Justin McGuire, 39, was arrested for domestic violence and booked in the Sacramento County Jail.


13-024108, Robbery, 2200 block of Del Paso Rd, 5:38 a.m. The victim was walking to her car when a male white adult in his 20’s approached her and demanded cash at gunpoint. The victim gave the suspect her money and the suspect fled on foot. The victim was uninjured and a robbery report was taken. Jan. 27 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 26) 13-023146, Arrest, 1200 block of Fall Creek Way, 9:42 p.m. Officers located Giovannia Abraza, 39, for his outstanding violation of parole warrant after investigating a landlord/tenant dispute. Jan. 26 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 25) 13-021930, Burglary, 2800 block of Aquino Drive, 4:57 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the area concerning a residential burglary that just occurred. Three juvenile suspects were chased on foot by the resident of the home prior to officer’s arrival. Officers quickly arrived and set up a perimeter. A search of the perimeter ensued with the assistance of witnesses in the area. All three juvenile suspects were eventually located and arrested for burglary.

The missing person was last seen at approximately 0900 hours at a store in the area of Truxel Road and I-80. A missing person report was taken and the MP was entered into the system. Jan. 25 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 24) 13-021088, Burglary, 3600 block of North Freeway, 7:01 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a car burglary in the area. Upon arrival on scene the suspect had already fled the area and a report was taken.


13-021312, Missing Person, 4400 block of Gateway Park, 11:36 p.m. Officers responded for a report of a missing 14-year-old. The missing juvenile did not return home from school and a missing person’s report was taken. Jan. 24 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 23) 13-020425, Stolen Vehicle, I 80 Wb / Northgate Blvd, 1:11 a.m. A stolen occupied vehicle was located by police and the driver, Keilan Buffington-18, was taken into custody without incident. Jan. 23 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 20) 13-018658, Burglary, 3800 block of Truxel Road, 6:28 a.m Officers responded to a burglary alarm at a closed business. Signs of forced entry were observed but noting appeared to have been taken from inside. A report was taken and this investigation is ongoing.


13-019040, Theft, 4100 block of Northgate Boulevard, 2:55 p.m. Officers responded to reports of multiple subjects suspected of stealing merchandise from a store. Upon arrival officers contacted all three subjects. One of the three was arrested for burglary and the other two were identified and interviewed at the scene. Jan. 22 Jan. 21 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 20) 13-017470, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, Northview Dr / Los Lunas Way, 4:51 p.m. Officers contacted and arrested Larion Osipov and Yuriy Rybikov. Osipov, 25 was arrested for possession of drugs and possession of a stolen vehicle. Rybikov, 23, was also arrested for possession of drugs. Both were booked into county jail.


13-017679, Suspicious Subject, Northgate Blvd / Haggin Ave, 9:28 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress. Parole agents assisted in apprehending the uncooperative suspect. Though no burglary occurred, the suspect was found to be in possession of burglary tools. Julio Basquez, 26, was arrested for resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools.


13-017734, Burglary, 1900 block of Del Paso Rd, 10:33 p.m. A witness reported hearing glass break and saw a subject inside a business. When the suspect was confronted by the witness, the suspect fled. A perimeter was set by responding police and the subject was found by K-9 hiding in groundcover in a residential area. Donald McGuckin, 46 was later booked into county jail for burglary. Jan. 20 (incidents from shifts starting on Jan. 19) 13-016807, Shooting Into Dwelling, 200 block of Cashman Cir, 9:07 p.m. Police responded to a report of gunshots in the area. A neighbor and security guard located casings in front of a residence. Officers arrived and found bullet holes in a house and a vehicle that was parked on the road. No suspect information was uncovered and no injuries were reported.


13-016287, Medical Aid, 4100 block of Northgate Blvd, 9:13 a.m., Officers responded to a deceased person found in a vehicle. The adult male subject was found to have intentionally inhaled chemicals. The coroner responded to the scene. Jan. 19 Jan. 18 (incidents from shifts starting on Jan. 17) 13-014655, Traffic Stop, W El Camino Ave / Fairweather Dr, 5:50 p.m. Officers called for emergency assistance after a subject armed with a loaded gun attempted to flee from a vehicle they had stopped. Smiley Martin, 18, physically resisted officers requiring the request for additional officers. All six occupants of the vehicle were eventually detained with the assistance of other responding officers. Martin was eventually booked for multiple weapons violations. Jan. 17 (incidents from shifts starting on Jan. 16) 13-013391, Domestic Violence, 2000 block of W El Camino, 12:47 p.m. The victim reported a physical altercation between her and her boyfriend. Upon arrival officers determined she had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend and he was taken into custody without incident. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Officers also located narcotics on the suspect’s person and he was booked on multiple charges including domestic violence and narcotics possession. Jan. 16 (incidents from shifts starting on Jan. 15) 13-012223, Burglary, 3500 block of Airport Road, 7:28 a.m. Officers responded to the area regarding a residential burglary. The suspect forced entry into the home and cash was taken.


13-012697, Sexual Assault, 1800 block of Bridgecreek Drive, 4:45 p.m. Officers contacted the victim who reported being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance. This investigation is ongoing.


13-012374, Arrest, Cleveland Ave/American Ave, 11:25 a.m. Officers located and arrested a subject for two outstanding felony arrest warrants.


13-012420, Traffic Stop, San Juan Rd / Northgate Blvd, 12:17 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop and determined an occupant in the vehicle was wanted for an outstanding arrest warrant.


13-012946, Burglary, 3200 block of Azevedo Drive, 10:02 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a subject who entered a vacant residence. The subject was arrested for violation of his parole and burglary charges. Jan. 15 (incidents from shifts starting on Jan. 14) 13-011332, Burglary, 2900 block of Weald Way, 7:47 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary report. A suspect entered the victim’s detached garage and stole computers.


13-011404, Stolen Vehicle, Indiana Ave / Northgate Blvd, 9:35 a.m. Officers located and stopped a stolen vehicle. The driver was taken into custody without incident. Tyler Kruse was arrested for the stolen vehicle, violation of probation and for being in possession of methamphetamine.


13-011702, Welfare Check, 2500 block of Aimonetti Ave, 3:55 p.m. Officers responded to a residence for a welfare check of a male subject. Officers forced entry to find the male subject in need of medical assistance. Fire and ambulance responded to transport the subject to the hospital.


13-011954, Attempted Burglary, 3600 block of Stemmler Dr., 9:09 p.m. Officers responded to a possible burglary in progress. A resident reported an unknown subject attempting to make entry into his home. Officers arrived and were unable to locate the suspect. Jan. 14 Jan. 13 Jan. 12 (incidents from shifts starting on Jan. 11) 13-009327, Assault, 1500 block of Baines Ave, 8:04 p.m. Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The suspect assaulted his wife then fled the area prior to police arriving. The victim sustained minor injuries in the assault and it was found that the suspect was in violation of a restraining order. Investigation is in progress.


13-009450, Suspicious Subject, 1600 block of Scarlet Ash Ave, 10:43 p.m. Ariyanna Bolts, 25, was contacted and arrested for her outstanding warrant.


13-009586, Sex Assault, 3100 block of Iberian Dr, 2:54 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a sexual assault. The male suspect and adult female victim are known to each other. Investigation is on-going. Jan. 11 Jan. 10 (incidents from shifts starting on Jan. 9) 13-007159, Follow Up, 5600 block of Bridgecross Dr, 12:30 p.m. Officers from the North Crime Suppression Team conducted follow up regarding a prior vehicle burglary. Officers were able to recover stolen property. Investigation ongoing.


13-007197, Attempt Pick Up, 3200 block of Truxel Rd, 1:12 p.m. Officers located and arrested Deniro Nolan 24, for two outstanding felony warrants. He was arrested by officers the week prior but failed to appear for court.


13-007615, Robbery, 2700 block of Orchard Ln, 10:32 p.m. Employees called police regarding an armed robbery that just occurred. The suspect was described as a male black adult and was seen leaving in a vehicle. Work up was done on the vehicle which led to the arrest of a subject. Investigation ongoing. Jan. 9 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 8) 13-006191, Assault, W El Camino Ave / Gateway Oaks Dr, 9:28 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic violence incident. The victim was assaulted by her boyfriend then fled. Officers ultimately located suspect Jose Martinez, 23, and arrested him for domestic violence.


13-006287, Welfare Check, 2100 block of Sherington Way, 11:51 a.m. Officers responded to check the welfare of a subject. The intoxicated female was found and transported to the hospital for medical treatment.


13-006853, Robbery, 1500 block of W. El Camino Ave, 12:27 a.m. A victim was robbed at gunpoint walking to her car after withdrawing money from an ATM. The suspect took the money then fled. The suspects were described as five male adults with accents. Jan. 8 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 7) 13-005451, Assault, 2500 block of Millcreek Dr, 10:36 a.m. Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Joseph Ahlin, 26, was contacted and later arrested for assaulting his girlfriend. The assault happened in front of their 17-month-old son. Ahlin was arrested for domestic violence and for misdemeanor child endangerment.


13-005459, Suspicious Subject, 3600 block of Northgate Blvd, 10:42 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a suspicious occupied vehicle. The witness reported that a subject inside the vehicle possibly had a gun and was pointing it at another unoccupied vehicle close by. Officers responded and were unable to locate the vehicle and no victims were located. Jan. 7 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 6) 13-004966, Robbery, Truxel Rd./San Juan Rd, 5:59 p.m. The victim was walking and was approached from behind by the suspect. The suspect, armed with a gun, pushed the victim to the ground, assaulted him and stole the victim’s property. The suspect then fled on foot. The suspect was described as a black male adult in his early 20s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a face covering. Jan. 6 Jan. 5 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 4) 13-002867, Tresspassing, 2600 block of Stonecreek Dr, 8:01 a.m. Offices were hailed regarding a suspicious person sleeping in a vacant residence. The subject ran from responding officers but eventually surrendered and was detained. The subject was taken into custody for trespassing and his outstanding arrest warrant. Jan. 4 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 3) 13-002617, Suspicious Occupied Vehicle, 3600 block of Freeway Blvd, 9:34 p.m. Witnesses called the police after observing a subject in a vehicle who was possibly armed. Officers quickly responded and detained the subject without incident. The item revealed to be a replica handgun. The subject was arrested for altering an imitation gun to resemble a real firearm and violation of his probation. Jan. 3 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 2) 13-001836, Traffic Stop, Rio Tierra Ave / Northgate Blvd, 1:33 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop when a passenger immediately fled the vehicle. Officers gave chase to the fleeing occupant and a perimeter was set up. Christopher Brown-27 was eventually caught by officers stationed on the perimeter. Brown was booked for his two active felony arrest warrants, resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Jan. 2 (incidents from shifts starting Jan. 1) 13-000614, Vehicle Stop, 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue, 3:19 p.m. During the course of a vehicle stop the driver of the car fled on foot from the officer. The officer gave chase and was eventually able to detain the suspect who was taken into custody for multiple charges including resisting arrest. Jan. 1 (incidents from shifts starting Dec. 31) 12-351981, Burglary, 2800 block of Stonecreek Dr, 11:50 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a school. Unknown subject(s) entered the building and stole property. Investigation is ongoing. 13-275296 (Missing Person): 1600 block of Rockybend Dr at 2321 hours.

Officers responded for a report of a 17-year-old female. The missing person was last known to be heading to a friend’s house a few days ago and never returned. A missing person report was generated.


13-275272 (Missing Person): 2100 block of Zurlo Way at 2233 hours. Officers responded to a report of a missing 19-year-old that was last seen on September 10, 2013. The missing person’s mother is concerned for her daughter’s welfare and a report was generated placing the MP into the system. The are no known locations where the missing person may be.


13-275298 (Burglary): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 2322 hours. The victim was inside her residence and observed someone reaching into her open window attempting to remove property. The subject immediately fled when the victim yelled out. A burglary report was generated.
