16-001936 (Burglary ): 3300 block of Smoke Tree Dr at 0148 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary. The victim arrived home and discovered that her apartment had been burglarized with property taken. A report was generated.
Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 2, 2016:
16-001351 (Home Invasion): 600 block of Garden Hwy at 1308 hours.
Officers responded to residence regarding a report of a home invasion. The victim’s ex-boyfriend forcibly entered her apartment after becoming upset, asculted her, took property, and fled prior to police arrival. A report was generated.
16-001645 (Shooting): 500 block of Bankside Way at 1908 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a shooting with no injuries. Officers determined that the occupants of one vehicle had shot at the occupants of another car that subsequently crashed in the area. All the parties fled from the scene prior to police arrival, leaving the victim vehicle behind. During a search of the area, two subjects who were possibly involved in the incident were found hiding and one of them was found in possession of drugs. The subject was arrested for a violation of parole and drug charges. Follow-up will be conducted in relation to the shooting and a report was generated.
