Incidents are from shifts starting Dec. 27:

15-365434 (Vehicle Stop): 3600 block of N Freeway Blvd at 1418 hours.
Officers stopped a vehicle in the area that was believed to be associated with a theft and detained the occupants. During a search, a handgun was found and one of the subjects was arrested for weapons crimes.


15-365863 (Robbery): 2800 block of Mendel Way at 2319 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. The victim was at the park when he was confronted by two unknown men who assaulted him, took his property and fled on foot from the area. A report was generated.

15-364838 (Carjacking): W El Camino Ave / I 80 Eb at 1933 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a carjacking. The victim had stopped in his vehicle in the area and was confronted by the occupants of another car who displayed a handgun, demanded the victim’s property, including his vehicle, and fled. A report was generated.

15-362797 (Casualty): 200 block of Menard Cir at 2346 hours.
Officers responded to the above residence at the request of Sacramento Fire personnel regarding a female that was found deceased. Officers arrived on scene and it was determined no foul play was a factor. The coroner was requested to the home.

15-361535 (Driving Under the Influence): N Bend Dr / Natomas Blvd at 1811 hours.
Officers stopped a car for a vehicle code violation. The driver was booked for driving under the influence and the passenger who was a minor was cited for possession of marijuana.


15-361536 (Warrant Arrest): Northgate Blvd / W El Camino Ave at 1812 hours.
A vehicle stop was conducted in the above area. The driver was found to have a felony warrant out of Placer County. The driver was booked on his outstanding warrant.

15-360660 (Suspicious Subject): 2900 block of Trap Rock Way at 1730 hours.
Officer responded to the location at the request of the Fire Department regarding a subject exhibiting eratic behavior. Upon arrival the police safely made contact with the man. He was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.

15-359553 (Burglary ): 3300 block of N Park Dr at 0420 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary. The victim was at home when five unknown suspects attempted to forcibly enter his apartment without success. All of the men fled prior to police arrival and a report was generated. Follow-up will be conducted.


15-359988 (Burglary ): 2800 block of Stonecreek Dr at 1849 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a burglary alarm. With the assistance of an air unit, two juveniles were quickly spotted fleeing in the area. Officers detained both subjects at the location and they were later arrested for burglary.

15-358503 (Welfare Check): 1400 block of Nighthawk Way at 0238 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a possible intoxicated male subject laying on the sidewalk. Sacramento Fire personnel were requested to the scene as the man had sustained a non-life threatening injury. The man was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.


15-359002 (Hit and Run): 3400 block of Northgate Blvd at 1735 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a hit and run with minor injuries. A pedestrian had been crossing the roadway in the area when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The car did not stop and fled from the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was treated at an area hospital and a report was generated.


15-359356 (Missing Person): 100 block of Luna Grande Cir at 2248 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a missing person. Follow-up was conducted, but the subject has not yet been located. A report was generated.


15-359379 (Domestic Violence): 100 block of Millview Ct at 2314 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. The victim engaged argument with the suspect, who was known to her. During the incident, the suspect entered a vehicle and drove away, causing minor injuries to the victim. Officers located the suspect and he was arrested for assault and domestic violence.

15-357410 (Burglary): Dragonfly Cir at 0046 hours.
The victim was inside her residence when a known suspect forced entry into the home through the front door. Officers arrived on scene and safely detained the suspect who was ultimately arrested for multiple charges. No injuries were reported.


15-357434 (Disturbance): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 0126 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a man loitering in front of a business. Officers contacted the man and it was later determined he had an outstanding warrant. The man was transported to the Sacramento County main jail for his warrant.

15-357050 (Stolen Vehicle ): W Elkhorn Blvd / E Commerce Way at 1712 hours.
Officers were patrolling in the above area when they received a POD alert of a stolen vehicle being driven nearby. Officers located the described vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was safely detained and ultimately arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.


15-357342 (Traffic Stop): I 80 Eb / Truxel Rd at 2301 hours.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an infraction violation. The driver was contacted and it was later determined he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Officers safely detained the man and a search revealed narcotics and an illegal knife. The driver was arrested for multiple charges.

15-355548 (Stolen Vehicle ): Truxel Rd / Gateway Park Blvd at 0317 hours.
Officers responded to the above area regarding a POD alert on a stolen vehicle. Officers located the described vehicle and safely detained the driver who was ultimately arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.


15-355959 (Child Neglect): 3000 block of Trap Rock Way at 1452 hours.
Officers responded to the above address at the request of CPS regarding a possible child neglect incident. Officers arrived on scene and after further investigation, it was determined the child had sustained a non-life threatening injury. Officers safely detained the mother who was ultimately arrested for child neglect.

15-355177 (Robbery): 4100 block of Northgate Blvd at 1637 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a robbery in progress. The victim was walking in the area when she was approached by male suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect fled the area without taking the victim’s property. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.


15-355372 (Suspicious Vehicle): 4500 block of Pell Dr at 2019 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a suspicious vehicle parked in the above area. Officers contacted the occupants of the vehicle. After further investigation, officers safely detained the driver and located a firearm and narcotics within the vehicle. The driver was ultimately arrested for multiple charges.

15-353747 (Suspicious Vehicle): Winterhaven Ave / Northgate Blvd at 0235 hours.
An officer stopped a suspicious vehicle in the area and detained the driver. Upon further investigation, the officer discovered that the car was stolen and the man was arrested for vehicle theft.


15-354562 (Vehicle Accident): Arden Garden Connector / Northgate Blvd at 2352 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a single vehicle accident with minor injuries. Officers learned that the driver had lost control of her car and left the roadway. She was later treated at an area hospital and is under investigation due to a suspicion of DUI.

15-352908 (Vehicle Accident): Terracina Dr / Truxel Rd at 0223 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a single vehicle accident. The driver lost control of his car after driving recklessly in the area and crashed. No injuries were reported and a report was generated.


15-352956 (Vehicle Accident): Garden Hwy/ Truxel Rd at 0223 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers observed that the car had driven off the roadway and crashed. One occupant of the vehicle was contacted and transported to an area hospital as a precaution. A report was generated.


15-353441 (Stolen Vehicle): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 1721 hours.
An officer stopped a stolen van in the area and detained the driver who was arrested for vehicle theft.

15-352065 (Robbery): 2400 block of Del Paso Rd at 0952 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. The victim was confronted by an unknown suspect who took his property and fled from the area. A report was generated.


15-352357 (Attempted Burglary): 3400 block of La Cadena Way at 1528 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of an attempted burglary. Two unknown suspects were observed in the yard of the home just before they fled on foot. Officers arrived in the area and detained both suspects. They were arrested for attempted burglary.

15-350076 (Assault): 2600 block of Millcreek Dr at 1102 hours.
Officers responded to the call of an assault. The victim was inside the residence when a known suspect stabbed her causing a non-life threatening injury. The suspect was located nearby and ultimately arrested for assault.

15-346976 (Robbery): 100 block of Danrobin Ct at 0637 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a robbery. The victim met with three unknown suspects that displayed a handgun, took his property and fled from the area. A report was generated.


15-347148 (Domestic Violence): 100 block of Groth Cir at 1051 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of domestic violence. The victim was reportedly assaulted by a known suspect who fled prior to police arrival. A report was generated.


15-347695 (Robbery): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd at 2109 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. Two armed unknown suspects arrived in a vehicle, confronted the victim, took his property, and fled in the vehicle. A report was generated.

15-346093 (Reckless Driver): 3500 block of Northgate Blvd at 0234 hours.
An officer stopped a vehicle in the area driving recklessly and detained the driver. The woman was evaluated and arrested for suspicion of DUI.


15-346719 (Shots Fired): 1800 block of Crossmill Way at 2118 hours.
SPD received a call of shots fired in the area. Witnesses said they observed a vehicle driving away with a silver sedan following. Several gun-shots were heard in the area where the vehicles were. Officers located evidence of a shooting but nobody appears to of been injured during the incident.


15-346742 (Casualty): 2700 block of Millcreek Dr at 2136 hours.
A neighbor called the fire department to report that a subject was passed out on the ground. Fire responded and located an unconscious subject lying on the ground. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died of his injuries. Homicide investigators and CSI responded to process the scene as a precaution. Once at the hospital, the victim was found to be intoxicated and to of sustained a head injury consistent with a fall. At this time, investigators have no indications that he was assaulted. A report was generated and a death investigation will be conducted by the Coroner’s office.

15-345589 (Burglary ): 2900 block of Brookstone Way at 1704 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary and determined that property was taken. A report was generated.


15-345986 (Weapons Disturbance): 1600 block of W El Camino Ave at 2356 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a weapons disturbance. The suspect confronted the victim, brandished a handgun following a dispute and a struggle over the handgun ensued. The suspect fled on foot from the area prior to police arrival, follow-up was conducted, and a report was generated.

15-344954 (Bait Bike Arrest): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 2357 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a bait bike activation. When officers arrived on scene, they located the male suspect in possession of the stolen bicycle. He was safely detained and ultimately arrested for possession of narcotics, burglary tools, possession of stolen property and a probation violation.

15-343707 (Robbery): 3500 block of Del Paso Rd at 1837 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a robbery. Two suspects entered the business armed with handguns, stole miscellaneous items and fled prior to officers arriving on scene. The investigation remains active.


15-343735 (Vehicle Collision): 4500 block of Pell Dr at 1917 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding the report of a vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers contacted both involved parties. The driver and one occupant from the secondary vehicle were transported to an area hospital for complaint of pain injuries. It was later determined the primary driver left his residence with his two children in the vehicle following an alleged dispute. The driver was ultimately arrested for child neglect.

15-340418 (Burglary Alarm): 2900 block of Del Paso Rd at 0143 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, officers observed a man exiting a rear door to the business and he was detained. During the investigation, evidence of a burglary was discovered the suspect was also found in possession of drugs. He was arrested for possession of burglary tools, drugs, and burglary.

Incidents are from shifts starting Nov. 29:

15-340041 (Stolen Vehicle): W El Camino Ave / Truxel Rd at 1600 hours.
Officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle due to a POD alert in the area, but the driver of the vehicle fled. Following a short pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody after crashing into two parked cars. The man was arrested for a violation of probation, evading police, possession of stolen property, and vehicle theft.

Incidents are from shifts starting Nov. 28:

15-338806 (Shooting): 600 block of Rio Tierra at 0131 hours.
Officers responded to an area hospital regarding a gunshot wound victim who had arrived. Moments earlier, the victim was parked near the 600 block of Rio Tierra where he allegedly purchased marijuana when an unknown suspect shot the victim causing a non-life threatening injury. The suspect fled in a vehicle and the victim was self-transported to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.


15-339289 (Domestic Disturbance): 4400 block of El Centro Rd at 1639 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. The suspect reportedly threatened his ex-wife, damaged her vehicle, and fled in the area in another car. Officers located the man and detained him. During a search of his vehicle, a handgun and drugs were found. The suspect was arrested on numerous weapons offenses, in addition to vandalism and stalking.

15-338480 (Stolen Vehicle): W El Camino Ave / Truxel Rd at 1818 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a POD alert regarding a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and safely detained the driver who was ultimately arrested for multiple charges.


15-338700 (Shots Fired): 2300 block of Mossy Bank Dr at 2236 hours.
Officers responded to the above area regarding a call of gunfire. No injuries were reported. Officers arrived on scene and canvassed the area searching for evidence. The investigation remains active.

15-337113 (Robbery): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 1849 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery incident. Two suspects entered the business, collected miscellaneous items, and began to leave without attempting to pay for the merchandise. An employee intervened and was assaulted by the suspects who then fled. The employee sustained a non-life threatening injury. Officers checked the area for the suspects, but were unable to locate them. The investigation remains active.
