Natomas Cops Log – Aug. 22, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting Aug. 21, 2015:

15-241007 (Gun Arrest): 5400 block of Shennecock Way at 1842 hours.
Officers responded to the call of an assault. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the involved parties. Consent was granted to search a subject’s vehicle upon which officers located a stolen firearm. The suspect was safely detained and booked into the Sacramento County main jail.

Incidents are from shifts starting Aug. 20, 2015:

15-239540 (Burglary): 400 block of Potomac Ave at 1324 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a burglary. The victim returned home to find his home had been burglarized. A report was generated.


Incidents are from shifts starting Aug. 19, 2015:

15-238756 (Suspicious Subject ): 1200 block of Fall Creek Way at 1811 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a female subject claiming to be a utility employee. The victim was home when the suspicious subject approached her front door. The suspect was unable to provide any form of identification and did not gain access to the victim’s property. Officers checked the area for the suspect. The investigation remains active.

Incidents are from shifts starting Aug. 18, 2015:

15-236900 (Robbery): 2200 block of Northgate Blvd at 0025 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. The victim was sitting in the rear of his van when he was confronted by three unknown men who displayed a handgun, took his property, and fled from the area. A report was generated and follow-up will be conducted.


15-236947 (Attempted Burglary): 3400 block of Bridgeford Dr at 0146 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of an attempted burglary. The resident woke up to the sound of a banging noise and discovered that her front door had been forced open with entry made or property taken. A report was generated.


15-237054 (Burglary): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 0729 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a burglary. An unknown suspect forced entry into the closed business, by breaking a window. The suspect stole miscellaneous merchandise and fled. The investigation remains active.


15-237758 (Fatal Vehicle Collision): 2600 block of Stonecreek Dr at 1835 hours. Read More


15-237921 (Robbery): 2000 block of Arena Blvd at 2228 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. The victim was in the area when he was approached by a male subject armed with a firearm. The suspect stole the victim’s property and fled on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. A report was generated.
