15-212826 (Fatal Hit and run): W El Camino Ave / I 5 Nb at 0226 hours.

Incidents are from shifts starting July 25, 2015:

15-212375 (Attempt Pick-Up): 1800 block of Bridgecreek Dr at 1842 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a man with an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival, the man was suspected of being inside of the home, but did not immediately come out when officers instructed him to do so. Following a brief delay, the suspect exited the residence and was arrested without further incident.


15-212517 (Vehicle Accident): Northgate Blvd / Wisconsin Ave at 2115 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a vehicle accident with injuries. A woman was walking across the roadway in the area with her two children just prior to being struck by a car. The woman and her children sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries and were treated at an area hospital. Officers made contact with the driver at the scene and alcohol was determined not to be a factor. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting July 24, 2015:

15-210609 (Bait Bike Activation): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 0725 hours.
Officers were dispatched to the above area regarding a bait bike activation. Officers located the man in possession of the stolen bike and safely detained him. The suspect was ultimately arrested for multiple charges.


15-211277 (Suspicious Circumstance): 3500 block of Northgate Blvd at 1932 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a subject who had been shot. The victim was in the area when he was struck with a bullet causing a non-life threatening injury. Officers canvassed the area for evidence, but were unable to locate anything. A report was generated. “The victim on this incident appears to have been standing in the area at the time and grazed by a bullet,” said Sgt. Doug Morse, Sacramento Police spokesman. “It appears to be random. There is no other information at this time.”
