Incidents are from shifts starting July 20, 2015:

15-206362 (Weapons Disturbance): 1800 block of Acari Ave at 0239 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a weapons disturbance. The suspect had reportedly discharged a handgun just outside of the home, but did not injure anyone.

“Officers arrived and determined that associates had been hanging out together and drinking when an argument erupted,” said Lt. Charles Husted, of the Sacramento Police Department. “One of the individuals then retrieved a firearm and reportedly fired a shot into the air.”

Husted said officers established a perimeter and were able to call the suspect out of the residence. The suspect was arrested for shooting the weapon. Officers found evidence of the shooting, and a handgun.

“(This was a) very scary situation to occur in the neighborhood,” Husted said. “Thank you to all those that quickly called dispatch and reported the trouble. Fortunately no one was injured in this incident.”

Incidents are from shifts starting July 19, 2015:

15-205655 (Suspicious Circumstances): 1800 block of Bandon Way at 1328 hours.
Officers responded to the vacant residence regarding a report of suspicious circumstances. Officers determined that a man had forced entry to the home, causing damage. The subject was located inside and arrested for vandalism.


15-205826 (Attempted burglary): 5800 block of Da Vinci Way at 1644 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of an attempted burglary. Residents were home, when they heard the sound of a window breaking and voices coming from outside. It was determined that unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter the residence, but shortly fled on foot. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting July 18, 2015:

15-204651 (Burglary): 4200 block of E Commerce Way at 1620 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary. It was determined that forced entry had been made to the victim’s apartment with property taken. Follow-up was conducted and a report was generated.
