15-156974 (Burglary): 3200 block of Arena Blvd at 2318 hours.
Officers responded to the call of a ringing alarm at a closed business. When they arrived on scene, it was determined unknown suspect(s) forced entry through a front window. Cash was stolen from the business and the suspect(s) fled the area. The investigation is still active.

15-153912 (Arson): 5700 block of Da Vinci Way at 0100 hours.
Officers responded to the location at the request of the Sacramento Fire Department regarding a report of Arson. SFD arson investigators were also called to the scene and conducted an investigation surrounding the incident. Following a suspect identification, SPD officers later responded to another residence where the man was taken into custody without incident for attempted murder and arson. There were no injuries reported in this case and any additional information must be released by the Sacramento Fire Department.
