Natomas Cops Log – May 4, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting May 3, 2015:

15-122703 (Domestic Violence): 2900 block of Bendmill Way at 1941 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of domestic violence and detained the suspect after he reportedly assaulted his girlfriend. He was arrested for assault and domestic violence.

Incidents are from shifts starting May 2, 2015:

15-121739 (Attempted Burglary): 100 block of Rockmont Cir at 2151 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of an attempted burglary. The victim had been on the second floor of her home when she heard crashing noises. When she looked outside of her window, she observed an unknown male running away from the house. Officers arrived and found shattered glass with no sign of entry. A report was generated.


15-121425 (Suspicious Person): 3600 block of Truxel Rd at 1624 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a report of a suspicious person who had stopped and made contact with the complainant in the area, and then fled in a vehicle. A report was generated and follow-up will be conducted.


15-121481 (Theft): 1500 block of W El Camino Ave at 1728 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a theft. It was determined that the suspect attempted to cash a stolen check and she was detained. The suspect was arrested for possession of the check.


15-121657 (DUI): 2900 block of Club Center Dr at 2035 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a woman and she was later arrested for suspicion of DUI and other related charges.

Incidents are from shifts starting May 1, 2015:

15-120669 (Robbery): 2200 block of Northgate Blvd at 2128 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. Multiple suspects entered the business location armed with handguns and stole cash and miscellaneous merchandise items. No injuries were reported. The suspects fled prior to officers arriving on scene. The investigation is still ongoing.


15-120680 (Robbery): 3600 block of N Freeway Blvd at 2131 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a robbery. Multiple subjects entered the store, concealed merchandise and as they proceeded to leave the business, a security officer attempted to intervene. The security officer was assaulted and the suspects fled. No major injuries were reported. The investigation is still ongoing.

15-117931 (Suspicious Subjects): Ayala Way / Lolet Way at 1134 hours.
An area resident observed three suspicious subjects in the area and saw one looking over a residential fence. Officers checked the area for the vehicles and/or suspects that had already fled the area.

    QUESTION: Are the criminals of these local Natomas crime occurrences nearby residents, transients/homeless, or residents of nearby communities?
