Natomas Cops Log – April 14, 2015

Incidents are from shifts starting April 13 , 2015:

15-101455 (Prowler): 100 block of Topam Ct at 1059 hours.

Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a prowler. Officers did not find any signs of burglary, but did make contact with a subject in the area who was later found to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested as a result.

Incidents are from shifts starting April 12, 2015:

15-101090 (Hit and Run): W El Camino Ave / Northgate Blvd at 2238 hours.

Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a hit and run with minor injuries. Officers determined that the suspect vehicle hit a bicyclist in the area and then fled. The vehicle was described as a blue Chevy. A report was generated and follow-up will be conducted.


15-101109 (Missing Person): 100 block of Pasture Ct at 2302 hours.

Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a missing person. Officers checked the area for the subject, but have not yet located her. A report was generated and follow-up will be conducted.


15-101240 (Burglary ): 2600 block of Truxel Rd at 0431 hours.

Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary in progress. A suspicious unknown male adult reportedly entered the victim’s apartment without permission and then fled on foot through the complex. The suspect was quickly spotted, detained and identified just after attempting to walk away from officers. He was arrested for violation of parole and burglary.


15-100529 (Burglary ): 500 block of Wisconsin Ave at 1010 hours.

Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a burglary that occurred approximately one month prior with items taken. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting April 11, 2015:

15-099796 (Pursuit): Harding Ave / Northgate Blvd at 1644 hours.

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the area, but the driver of the car fled. Following a pursuit, the driver was taken into custody without further incident after crashing and no one was injured. It was later discovered that the vehicle had been stolen. The suspect was arrested for evading police, possession of stolen property and vehicle theft.

Incidents are from shifts starting April 10, 2015:

15-099291 (Robbery): 2300 block of River Plaza Dr at 0140 hours.

Officers responded to the above location regarding the report of a robbery. Two victims were approached by two subjects armed with handguns. Officers quickly arrived on scene and located both suspects. After a brief investigation, the juvenile suspects were arrested for multiple charges. No major injuries were reported.
