An early-morning crash that left one person dead in Natomas is being investigated by police.
At about 12:30 a.m. this morning, March 16, Sacramento Police officers responded to the scene where a single vehicle had crashed into a tree near the intersection of Truxel and San Juan roads.
Sacramento Fire personnel was already on the scene and had pronounced the solo occupant of the car, a male adult, deceased.
Due to the circumstances, police traffic investigators were called to the scene to investigate.
Pice said the driver of the vehicle had been traveling northbound on Truxel Road near San Juan Road just before leaving the roadway and crashing into the tree.
The investigation is on-going.
