Incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 17. 2015:

15-045661 (Vandalism): 1900 block of Del Paso Rd at 2010 hours.
Officers responded to the report of subjects throwing rocks at a vehicle. Officers located the juveniles who were issued citations and released to their parents. A report was generated.


15-045798 (Suspicious Circumstances): 2200 block of Sandcastle Way at 2347 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding suspects that broke into the residence armed with guns and stole miscellaneous property. The suspects fled the scene. No injuries were reported from the two victims that were home at the time of the incident. Officers checked the area for evidence. The investigation is still on going.


15-045774 (DUI): 3000 block of Mabry Dr at 2307 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a female driver asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle. When officers contacted the driver, it appeared she was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was ultimately arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

15-042482 (Attempt Pick-up): 400 block of Senator Ave at 1554 hours.
Officers along with a K9 unit responded to the residence regarding a report of a subject who was wanted for an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival, officers received information that the subject was located in the backyard of the residence. While attempting to make contact with the suspect, he immediately fled from the backyard along with another subject who was later discovered to also have an outstanding warrant. Both suspects were ultimately apprehended by the K9 officer and arrested for their outstanding warrants.

Incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 12, 2015:

15-040707 (Traffic Stop): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 0147 hours.
Officers were on patrol and stopped a vehicle for an infraction violation. Officers contacted the driver who was on probation. The officers conducted a probation search and located a firearm. The suspect was ultimately arrested for being in possession of a firearm.


15-040749 (Vandalism): 1900 block of Terracina Dr at 0342 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a ringing alarm. When they arrived at the business, officers observed a broken window, but it appeared no entry was made. A report was generated.


15-040753 (Burglary ): 3800 block of Truxel Rd at 0346 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding an alarm. Officers arrived on scene and determined unknown suspect(s) broke into the business and stole miscellaneous merchandise items. Officers checked the area and the investigation is still ongoing.


15-040761 (Burglary): 3500 block of Del Paso Rd at 0414 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding an alarm. When officers arrived on scene, they determined an unknown subject broke into the business. The investigation is still ongoing.


15-040268 (Stolen Vehicle ): 2400 block of Northgate Blvd at 1652 hours.
Officers were on patrol when they observed a suspicious vehicle. A records check of the license plate indicated the vehicle was reported stolen. Officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and safely arrested the male adult driver for driving a stolen vehicle.


15-040299 (Assault): 4100 block of Truxel Rd at 1715 hours.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a victim who had been assaulted by a known male subject. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. Officers checked the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. A report was generated.


15-040367 (Robbery): 5500 block of Dalhart Way at 1825 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a robbery. A victim was approached by three male subjects. One suspect was armed with an air soft gun. The suspects stole the victim’s bicycle and cash and fled the area. No injuries were reported. Officers checked the area for the suspects, but were unable to locate them. The investigation is still ongoing.

15-039375 (DUI): San Juan/Smoke Tree at 1934 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a vehicle collision. Officers arrived on scene and contacted one of the drivers who appeared to be under the influence. After a series of field sobriety tests, officers arrested the driver for suspicion of driving under the influence. The secondary driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.


15-038935 (Missing Person): 1100 block of Athena Ave at 1153 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a missing person. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the missing person. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 10, 2015:

15-037667 (Suspicious Subject): 2600 block of River Plaza Dr at 0714 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a suspicious subject. The victim was sitting in her vehicle when she was approached by an unknown male adult wearing dark clothing. The subject attempted to open her car door, was unsuccessful, and then fled on foot. Officers checked the area for the subject, but did not locate him. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 9, 2015:

15-037544 (Despondent Subject): Garden Hwy / Northgate Blvd at 0045 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a despondent subject who had harmed himself and had apparent self-inflicted life-threatening injuries. The subject was transported to an area hospital for treatment and a report was generated.


15-037239 (Traffic Stop): Northgate Blvd / Rimmer Ave at 1751 hours.
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area. During a search, a passenger was found in possession of drugs. He was arrested for drug related offenses.


15-036888 (Weapons Call): 3600 block of Northgate Blvd at 1124 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of a weapons call. It was determined that an intoxicated subject had displayed a knife. Officers arrived on scene and detained the subject. He was arrested for brandishing a knife.

Incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 8, 2015:

15-036357 (Domestic Disturbance): 2200 block of Glenrio Way at 1820 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. The suspect had reportedly brandished a handgun after a verbal altercation, but the reporting party had left the location prior to officer’s arrival. Officers made contact with the suspect and found a handgun inside of the residence. The suspect was arrested for possession of a firearm and other associated crimes.

15-035450 (Outside Agency Assistance): Garden Hwy / Natomas Park Dr at 1715 hours.
Officers responded to assist Fire personnel with a subject who started a campfire near the levy. The man was advised and the fire was safely extinguished.

Incidents are from shifts starting Feb. 6, 2015:

15-034202 (Burglary ): 2900 block of Azevedo Dr at 1022 hours.
The victim was home when the suspects forced the resident’s back slider door open. The suspects immediately fled when they realized the home was occupied. The suspects were described as a black male and black female, both in their 20s who fled in vehicle.


15-034429 (Collision): San Juan Rd / Miramonte Dr at 1529 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision involving a school bus. No children were on board and no injuries were indicated.

15-033929 (Burglary ): 5400 block of Alvoca Way at 0031 hours.
Officers responded to a residential burglary and observed forced entry into the home. CSI responded and assisted with the investigation.

15-031490 (Traffic Stop): I 5 Nb / Del Paso Rd at 1608 hours.
An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area and made contact with the driver. During a search of the vehicle, the officer discovered a handgun and ammunition. The driver was arrested for weapons charges.


15-031526 (Despondent Subject): 2700 block of Northview Dr at 1646 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a despondent subject inside of his home. There was an indication that the subject was armed and responding officers confirmed that the subject was holding a firearm inside of the residence. Officers safely evacuated multiple family members out of the home and safely convinced the armed subject to surrender. The subject was later transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.

15-030036 (Ringing Alarm): 2500 block of Arena Blvd at 0103 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a ringing alarm and determined that the business had been burglarized. It was not clear if any property had been taken at the time and a report was generated. Follow-up will be conducted.


15-029626 (Burglary): 1200 block of Rio Cresta Way at 1603 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a burglary and observed that entry had been made and property taken. A report was generated.


15-029720 (Shooting): 1400 block of Buckridge Way at 1739 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a shooting with no injuries. Officers determined that unknown suspects driving a dark colored sedan fired shots, hitting the residence and two cars in the area, and then fled in the vehicle. Bullet holes and shell casings were found and a report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 31, 2015:

15-029026 (Assault): 600 block of Candela Cir at 2231 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of an assault and subjects possibly fighting in the area. Upon officer’s arrival, all of the subjects had dispersed, and three of the subjects (relatives) that were involved were later contacted at an area hospital. Officers made contact with the victim and learned that he had been stabbed after an altercation with the other two subjects and he sustained non-life threatening injuries. All of the subjects, including the victim, provided limited information and a report was generated.


15-028878 (Home Invasion): 100 block of Tahoe View Ct at 1954 hours.
Officers responded to the residence regarding a report of a home invasion. The victim had just woken up when he encountered that suspect who had broken inside of his residence. The suspect assaulted the victim, took property from residence, and fled on foot. The victim sustained a minor injury and was treated at an area hospital. A report was generated and follow-up will be conducted.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 29, 2015:

15-026175 (Vehicle Theft ): 2800 block of Gateway Oaks Dr at 0912 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a possible stolen car. Officers located the stolen vehicle and the driver was also found to be in possession of narcotics.


15-027053 (DUI): Garden Hwy / Truxel Rd at 0146 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that went off the roadway and was possibly in the Sacramento River near Truxel Raod and Garden Highway. Upon officers’ arrival, a vehicle was located a considerable distance off the roadway at the base of the levee. Two occupants were located in the vehicle, with minor injuries. The driver was booked for suspicion of DUI.


15-026867 (Burglary ): 2600 block of Screech Owl Way at 2101 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary. Forced entry was observed and multiple items were taken after the home was ransacked. An investigation is underway.

15-025654 (DUI): 3200 block of Truxel Rd at 1754 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the above location. Officers located a female subject who appeared to be under the influence. A DUI investigation was conducted and she was ultimately arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 27, 2015:

15-024820 (Traffic Stop): 3800 block of Rosin Ct at 2235 hours.
Officers stopped a vehicle for an infraction violation. Upon contact with driver, the passenger fled from officers. After a short foot pursuit, officers safely detained the passenger. Officers located narcotics on the passenger who was arrested for resisting arrest and possession of narcotics.


15-024162 (Robbery): 3600 block of Northgate Blvd at 1016 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a male subject who robbed the business at gun point. The suspect stole miscellaneous items and fled the area on foot. Officers checked the area for the suspect. The investigation is still on going.


15-024154 (Assault): 1700 block of Rockybend Dr at 1004 hours.
Officers responded to the report of a victim who was assaulted the previous day while she was walking home. The victim had non-life threatening injuries. A report was generated.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 25, 2015:

15-022880 (Vehicle Accident): Del Sol Way / Saddlehorn Way at 2018 hours.
Officers responded to the area regarding a report of a solo vehicle accident with no injuries. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle and determined that he drove recklessly in the area, hitting multiple objects. He was then evaluated and arrested for suspicion of DUI.


15-021986 (Assault): 2300 block of Northgate Blvd at 2122 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a report of an assault. The suspect reportedly threw a blunt object at a security employee and was subdued by the employee. Officers quickly arrived on scene and the suspect was arrested for assault.

Incidents are from shifts starting Jan. 24, 2015:

15-022304 (Ringing Alarm): 3800 block of Truxel Rd at 0451 hours.
Officers responded to the location regarding a ringing alarm and discovered that forced entry had been made to the business. Property taken from the business was not indicated and a report was generated.


15-021953 (Subject Stop): W River Dr / W El Camino Ave at 2045 hours.
Officers conducted a subject stop in the area and found a handgun in the subject’s possession. The suspect was arrested for weapons and other related charges.
