Natomas Cops Log – Oct. 29, 2014

Incidents are from shifts starting Oct. 28, 2014:

14-303069 (Robbery): 1600 block of W El Camino Ave at 3:24 p.m.
The victim was reportedly approached by a younger male suspect who physically assaulted him and took property. The victim sustained injuries that required treatment at an area hospital.


14-303258 (Outside Agency Assist): Northgate Blvd / Hwy 160 at 6:49 p.m.
A pedestrian was walking south on the light rail train overpass near Northgate Blvd and Highway 160. A light rail train heading outbound on the same overpass struck the pedestrian who was fatally injured. SPD assisted RT units with the investigation.


14-303355 (Shots Fired): 3000 block of Tintorera Way at 9:19 p.m.
Officers responded to a verbal disturbance among known subjects that escalated into shots being fired. No injuries were reported and evidence that a residence had been struck with gun fire was located. The investigation is ongoing.
