14-291544 (Burglary): 2500 block of Cantara Way at 9:25 a.m.
A resident called 911 to report she heard someone break into her home. Officers quickly arrived to find a broken window and the suspect not on scene. The burglar may have been scared off by the resident when she called 911. Property was taken from the home and an investigation ensued. Later in the shift officers were able to locate and identified the suspect. Stolen property was recovered and the 15-year-old suspect was booked for multiple charges to include burglary.


14-291948 (Fraud): 2800 block of Del Paso Rd at 5:41 p.m.
Officers quickly responded to an area bank regarding a subject attempting to cash a forced check. An alert bank teller recognized the possible forgery and the man was taken into custody by responding officers.


14-292257 (Burglary): 2900 block of Weald Way at 0057 hours.
Officers responded to a report of a burglary to a business. Forced entry was observed and property was taken. A report was generated.
