The Sacramento Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying those responsible for a shooting which left one man dead and six others injured.

On Saturday, May 10 at about 5:06 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of Guadalajara Way regarding a report of shots fired at an area park. Two armed gunman are believed to have approached a gathering for a child’s birthday party. The suspects appeared to have targeted a group of adult males attending the party and fired several shots towards the men.

Sacramento Police Homicide, Gang Detectives and other Crime Suppression units responded to the scene. Investigators also searched the area for any possible evidence which resulted in a surveillance photograph of the suspects’ vehicle. The car is described as a mid 2000s gold Ford Taurus. Police described the suspects as two Black men in their 20s who are believed to have arrived and fled in the pictured car.

The Sacramento Police Department considers the occupants of the below vehicle to be armed and extremely dangerous. Please notify law enforcement immediately if you have any information regarding the vehicle or its occupants.
