Internationally-known chef and author Chef LaLa demonstrated cooking with strawberries and discussed careers in the food industry with culinary arts student from Discovery High School in Natomas on Wednesday.
Chef LaLa is in Northern California to promote National Strawberry Month on behalf of the California Strawberry Commission. She is a classically trained chef, certified nutritionist who runs her own catering business – SAVOR! – in Los Angeles.
The chef makes appearances at conferences worldwide and has appeared on both international and national television including Martha Stewart, Dr. Oz, and CNN en Espanol.
