For A Good Cause: 5th Annual Duck Pluck Festival

The Natomas Schools Foundation will host the 5th Annual Natomas Duck Pluck Festival on Saturday, May 3.

The event will take place 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Inderkum High School. Admission is free, however, raffle “ducks” are available for purchase for $100 each.

The annual Duck Pluck fundraiser is meant to raise money to support academic, athletic, art and other programs at schools within the Natomas Unified School District.

This year, only 600 ducks will be sold, and are already up for sale. Tickets for ducks are currently for sale at all school sites.

First prize for the duck pluck is $10,000. Second prize $2,000 and third prize $1,000.

The festival will feature more than 100 booths, including food vendors, carnival games and music stations.

Inderkum High School is located at 2500 New Market Drive.
