Sacramento Police have arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery Monday night in Natomas.

At about 10:22 p.m. on Jan. 6, two victims were seated in their vehicle in a parking lot on the 3200 block of North Park Drive when they were robbed at gunpoint.

Police said two suspects took the victims’ cash, wallets and cell phones. Officers responded to the scene and were given a description of the suspect vehicle.

The Sacramento Sheriff’s Department helicopter Star located the vehicle and directed ground units to an area off Del Paso Road and East Commerce Way. Police said a high-risk vehicle stop was conducted and three suspects inside the vehicle were detained.

Police said a gun was found in the vehicle as well as the victims’ property. All three suspects were arrested and booked, two into juvenile hall and the third into the Sacramento County Jail for the possession of the stolen gun, robbery and conspiracy.

Police said they are investigating whether the three suspects were involved in a robbery which occurred earlier in the night in a different jurisdiction.
