Rio Linda Prep is holding a book fair this weekend at Barnes & Noble bookstore in Natomas.
Mention Rio Linda Prep at checkout and a portion of your purchase will benefit after school science and art club programs. Rio Linda Prep is a 5-8 grade school in the Twin Rivers Unified School District which draws students from the north Natomas, Robla and Rio Linda areas.
School volunteers are providing courtesy gift wrapping at the store. The school is holding a free drawing for a 7-inch Nook tablet as part of the book fair.
Math, science and MESA teacher Sharon Glover (pictured here) is also giving away these homemade candy cane holders.
