The PostNet store in Natomas will remain open under new ownership.
Long-time customer Akash Lal has signed a lease with Donahue Schriber which manages the Park Place shopping center where the store is located.
Original franchise owners Allyn and Noel Martin announced in January the store would close later that month.
Lal, who rented a mailbox at PostNet for several years, took over the franchise on March 1.
PostNet is known for its mail, print and notary services in addition to mailbox rentals. It is located at 4660 Natomas Boulevard in Suite 120, near Raley’s.
