Councilman Cohn Seeks Nominations For Volunteer Award

Nominations are being accepted for city Councilmember Steve Cohn’s District 3 “Volunteer of the Year Award.”

Cohn invites nominations of an individual or community group that gives of their time and energy to make District 3 a great place to live. City council District 3 includes the East Sacramento, River Park, Sacramento State, Sutter’s Landing, Railyards, River District, Gardenland/Northgate, South Natomas, Johnson Business Park, Point West and Cal Expo areas of the city.

To submit a nomination, send a one-paragraph summary about how the person, or community group, share their time and talents for the betterment of the community and why they deserve to be recognized.

The winner will be announced and an award presented June 8 during the Pops in the Park concert at Glenn Hall Park.

Nominations are due by the end of the day April 19. Please email nominations to [email protected].
