Work is under way to convert a once-popular Natomas pizzeria into a 24-hour diner.
A new Denny’s restaurant, located at 4441 E. Commerce Way is expected to open in January 2013.
The restaurant is going into Straw Hat Pizza’s old digs. Straw Hat closed a year ago in December 2011.
Franchisee Anil Yadav, president and CEO of Central Valley Diner Inc. and franchisee of more than a dozen Denny’s in the Sacramento area, recently opened a Denny’s at 300 Bercut Drive in the River District.
