3 Shot, 1 Dead In Early-Morning Natomas Shooting

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the early-morning murder of a 38-year old man in Natomas.

On this morning, June 16, at 1:42 a.m., police responded to the 3200 block of Northgate Boulevard on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located the victim inside the establishment with a fatal gunshot wound.

A man was shot and killed in the parking lot adjacent to the same bar in March 2011.

Shortly after the shooting occurred, police were notified that two additional subjects had also been shot while at the bar and were receiving treatment at area hospitals. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The Sacramento Police Department’s Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. At this time, detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led to the homicide and the motive for the shootings is still under investigation.
