The Sacramento Fire Department will host the first of 22 fire station open houses Saturday, May 5 in Natomas.
Fire Station No. 30, located at 1901 Club Center Drive, will be open to the public 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
This marks the fourth year fire stations will be open for the public to visit. The open houses will be held at a different fire station each Saturday from May to October.
This year, Sparky the Fire Dog is scheduled to make a special appearance and Community Emergency Response Team volunteers will provide safety presentations at many events.
