Councilman Ray Tretheway is joined on stage by former mayor Heather Fargo at a community celebration of his nine-year stint on the Sacramento City Council.
Tretheway’s contributions as a Natomas community activist and District One representative were heralded by the estimated 100 people who attended the “Thanks, Ray!” event last night at the North Natomas Library.
Representatives from neighborhood groups, local businesses, as well as residents of District One recounted Tretheway’s triumphs over the last decade.
District One includes Alkali Flat, Downtown, The River District/Richards Boulevard, North and South Natomas, and Gardenland-Northgate.
