Volunteers are needed for the annual Creek Week cleanup - an area-wide volunteer effort, organized by the Sacramento Area Creeks Council, to improve and enhance local urban waterways.Volunteers are encouraged to register by April 23 at www.creekweek.net or by calling Barbara at 834-6118, the area volunteer coordinator for the Natomas, North Sacramento and North Highlands area, which includes Arcade, Don Julio, Dry, Magpie, Robla, Bannon and Steelhead Creeks.
