Seen In The Neighborhood
The shrine is located at the scene of the 17-year-old's murder, at the intersection of Northfield and Northview drives, near Garden Highway and Northgate Boulevard.

One of the major things we can do to help prevent crime and apprehend criminals is calling in suspicious activity which is occurring in our neighborhoods. Below are the stats regarding suspicious activity calls so far this year - called in by the community (1/1/09 to 6/24/09).
Suspicious circumstances in progress:
2008: 603
2009: 543
Suspicious Circumstances (within last 15 minutes):
2008: 230
2009: 277
What do these mean? We have received 47 more calls this year from YOU regarding something suspicious that happened with the last 15 minutes of YOU calling - GREAT News! Good Job!
We have received 60 LESS calls from YOU regarding Suspicious Circumstances that are currently occurring in our neighborhoods... This isn't good unless there is actually less crime and less issues in our neighborhoods then last year (I suspect this isn't the case). We need to continue working on getting our neighbors to call in ALL suspicious activity...
Even if an officer doesn't get there in time to catch the suspicious Characters - call in the next time - You never know when an officer might be right around the corner and get there in time!
If it's suspicious - Call it in!
